“Äther Bergbau Geschwindigkeit”

Update, 2/5/2018: We have a new article posted detailing CyptoNote (Monero) mining performance with AMD’s Threadripper processor with a CPU-optimized algorithm, alongside a handful of other X86 processors and a powerful GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GPU.
But André has not kept his knowledge and expertise to himself. He has also served as mentor and advisor to numerous startups through the Kickstarter Accelerator program, Blockchain(X), the Swiss Fintech Association and in the Swiss Legal Tech Association.
Designed for Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash mining. BITMAIN Antminer S9, L3+, and D3 – The world’s most efficient miners and world’s first bitcoin mining ASIC based on the 16nm process node. The Antminer S9 follows the same form factor as that of the hugely popular Antminer S7 and is nearly the same size. It has more than thrice the power and twice the efficiency of the S7.
It is strange, yes. I thought that too. At some point I abandoned the Claymore and started WinMiner just to see in the command prompt that… its using Claymore 9.7 Beta. It connected and started mining from the WinMiner pools. In a few hours I tried again the newest Claymore and it connected to mine ETH.
This is my first cloud mining contract. The entire process is quite straightforward. The best part is the one-time payment charge and no additional maintenance fees over the entire duration of 2 years. I have been getting ZEC daily in my account from the first day and hope to recover my costs over 12-15 month duration. Thanks, Genesis Mining.
4GB is fine. Overkill really, at least for Linux. If you have an old 2GB stick (or even 1GB!) sitting around and plan to run Linux, you’re good to go. If you want to run Windows, then 4GB is probably a realistic minimum.
If you’re reading a newbie’s guide to Ethereum mining and have a GPU powerful enough to make it worthwhile, we’re going to assume you’re running Windows so we’ll focus on mining Ethereum on that platform.
The popularity of GPU-based cryptocurrency mining has driven up the prices of particularly efficient cards. GPU manufacturers have struggled to meet demands from miners. This struggle has resulted in a noticeable shortage of certain cards, as well as inflated prices from suppliers on the “secondary market” (in other words, resellers on sites such as eBay).
Genesis maintains mines around the world, including in Iceland and China, Streng claims. Streng was visiting his facility near Shanghai when Quartz contacted him. Miners are notoriously secretive about the size and location of their facilities since they must compete against each other to win new supplies of cryptocurrency. It’s an “information advantage” to maintain secrecy, Streng says.
When Ethereum started off, the original vision was to have it mined via the CPU itself. The primary reason behind this (and making mining Ethereum ASIC-resistant) is that this will help provide fair competition. (While this is debatable it is still fairer than ASIC-led mining). However, while the original intention was to have Ether mined on CPU, miners soon discovered that the GPU led mining is faster because it provides a greater hashing power.
In a blockchain, transactions are added in a block, then the block is closed and added in the chain. After that a new block is open. In order to maintain the consistency over the network, only one miner can close a block in a specified moment. That miner is the one which solves first the hash problem and finds the winning solution. Then it closes the block and signs all transactions, getting the block reward along with all transaction fees.
Mining for coins on a laptop is usually not worth it, since it’s not powered on 24/7, the CPU/GPU power is lower, and there is a greater chance of stressing out the chips on the laptop since they’re usually packed into a tighter space, and consequently at more risk of overheating. But if you just want to mine a little bit to get a few coins to play around with, it can do the job.
How is it possible for the “Conservative” scenario to be higher than the base price? Good question, and i’m glad you brought it up. The Monero currency has been not only really volatile, but drifting upwards at a pretty high rate.
Considering certain factors, you can decide to mine ethereum or not. Ethereum is being hugely traded on different exchanges. The value may rise soon. However prediction is just for prediction only. It will not be related to mining.
Bitcoin’s public ledger (the “block chain”) was started on January 3rd, 2009 at 18:15 UTC presumably by Satoshi Nakamoto. The first block is known as the genesis block. The first transaction recorded in the first block was a single transaction paying the reward of 50 new bitcoins to its creator.
I am selling a 68 GPU Mining Rig. Have listed it once, but was out of the country so I am listing it again now that I am ready to sell. The rig has been mining since October, warranty on the cards is still good until August. I am moving out of Canada hence the need to sell. The entire farm is composed of 6 rigs each with 12 cards, (68 total). If all the rigs are mining it currently pulls in roughly $4500 CAD/month with a $500 CAD power bill. This is without overclocking. None of the GPUs have been overclocked yet. I would be willing to sell each rig separate (1 MOBO 12 GPUs), or all 6 rigs at once, all 6 rigs are built onto 2 metal frame racks that will be with the sale of 3 or more rigs. Email me with questions and to set up a time to meet. Transaction can be any major crypto, but ethereum is preferred. Parts listed below.
*While my guides deal with setting up and optimizing AMD’s GPUs, nVidia’s 1060 / 1070 video cards are also excellent for mining. Generally these days I tend to recommend whichever is cheaper (and right now, that’s AMD). But if you find a deal on some nVidia 1070 GPUs, don’t hesitate to grab them—they perform just as well as AMD’s offerings, and are arguably easier to set up (just remember to install nVidia drivers instead of AMD’s if you follow the rest of my guide!).
Genesis-Mining also this big company specialized in mining from 2013, The company offers different types of packages and the possibility of miningdifferent cryptocurrencies… At the moment the contracts are sold out,due to the considerable number of contracts sold this year. Pour le home mining, je suis donc partie d’un rig déployant à peu près la même puissance de hash, mais je vous propose quand même une configuration plus légère pour être plus représentative de ce que vous ferez certainement chez vous.
It also bears mentioning that a 6-gpu rig populated with reasonably efficient RX 480s will generate over 4000 BTUs in heat. For a 1GH setup you’ll need 6 rigs like this, so you will need to find a way to exhaust, exchange, and/or reclaim about 25000 BTU. That’s an industrial grade heat problem unless you live somewhere cold and hopefully dry as well.
In choosing the most efficient GPU the most important thing is striking a balance between how powerful you want your rig to be and how much you are willing to spend on the GPU itself and the electricity.
The Radeon R9 295X2 is offering the highest hash power (46.0 MH/s) of the Ethereum GPUs on the market. This GPU will cost you around $600, however there is almost none available in the market. On eBay Asus Radeon R9 295X2 is being sold for $1100 – $1800.  The daily power cost of Radeon R9 295X2 GPU is about $1.44. The Radeon R9 295X2 has the cost per MH/s of $13.04. This model of GPU will provide you a return per year of $586.43.
I’m with GM for a year. I sincerely recommend GM due to the low cost of the account. At any time you can change addresses, which is very valuable. For one year there have been no problems with payouts. So I decided to invest more in various cryptowals. For me GM is the best mine in the cryptowalut market. Sincerely Malgorzata from Poland
worst article ever, get your fact right, you state different speeds for the same card (RX vega 64) and clearly you dont have a clue, i mine with rx580 and my hashrate its 30 with bios mod and propper patched drivers for mining
Among all types of digital currencies, Ethereum has been able to command amazing popularity and stands at number two position after Bitcoin. Ethereum’s rise in the domain of technologies that are based on blockchain can be attributed to the relative ease and economy of the mining process in comparison with its counterparts.
can someone please for the love of all holy help me find the download for ethminer??!!!! the github site is total garbage and for the uninitiated cannot navigate or find what i need! i download what i think is the install file but when i run it it just opens a CMD!!!!
And what energy efficient motherboard + cpu would you recommend for that case? I want to buy 2 RX 460s and maybe bump the watts to 300 I don’t mind as long as I can hash 22 MH/s on the same small machine.
