“Aufbau einer Ethereum Mining Rig”

I think the approach is wrong. It is based on competition instead of cooperation. The ones with the most hash power, most coins, or most memory gains more. Whatever the new requirement is, miners will adapt and change to gain an advantage.
The popularity of GPU-based cryptocurrency mining has driven up the prices of particularly efficient cards. GPU manufacturers have struggled to meet demands from miners. This struggle has resulted in a noticeable shortage of certain cards, as well as inflated prices from suppliers on the “secondary market” (in other words, resellers on sites such as eBay).
-gser   this setting can improve stability on multi-GPU systems if miner hangs during startup. It serializes GPUs initalization routines. Use “-gser 1” to serailize some of routines and “-gser 2” to serialize all routines.
Crypto currency mining makes it possible to earn money with the computing power of your PC – if you own a powerful graphics card. Especially Radeon GPUs of the RX 470/480 and RX 570/580 series are well suited for this. The older Radeon R9 290/290X cards work fine as well. You can earn about 150 euros a month in Ethereum with a single Radeon RX 480 at the moment. If you have two, this nets you over 300 euros at current prices. Ethereum’s value has increased rapidly in the last few months. In January 2017, one ETH was worth less than 10 euros, but these days, it has increased to well over 300 euros.
You will be asked to enter a passphrase.  You will not be able to see what you are typing.  Guard this passphrase with your dear life!  It locks your account and keeps your private key safe.  If you lose it or gets stolen, you will lose all of your Ethereum that is held within the wallet held by that Private key.
Mining Ether takes up a lot of electricity. On the plus side, though, if mining practices are carried out efficiently more income is generated through the sale of Ether. Ethereum mining calculators are available for calculating profits. So, there’s no need to get worked up since you’ll still get a profit at the end.
Never underestimate the power of the Radeon RX 400 series. The Radeon RX 480 is not only the cheapest GPU in this list, it is also easily the most economic GPU. This card has a hash rate of 25 MH/s while only drawing 150 W at max load. You’ll make over $700 USD annually per card! Comparitively to the RX 580, this card is an awesome Ethereum miner!
Step 7: You need to tell your Geth Program to start communicating with the rest of the Ethereum network. You do this by typing in “geth –rpc” – this should look like “C:\>geth –rpc” (on the latest version you should try: geth –rpc –fast –cache=1024) Press enter and the screen should start downloading the blockchain for Ethereum – at this point you are synchronising with the rest of the Ethereum network. This can take a while depending on your internet speed and the current size of the blockchain, anywhere between 20 min and multiple hours. Sometimes your firewall can block this process – just click allow access. Keep this cmd open, you will need this to run in the background in order to be able to mine. Also make sure you start mining only after your blockchain is synchronised, not before. Due to The DAO hard fork you will have to specify if you want to mine on the hard fork chain or on the chain without the hard fork. To mine Ethereum (ETH) use geth –rpc –support-dao-fork in order to mine Ethereum Classic (ETC) use: geth –rpc –oppose-dao-fork
In the early days of Bitcoin Core (BTC), mining used to be done using the CPU on your computer. Nowadays though as the amount of people mining has increased the difficulty of Bitcoin Core mining has also increased too. This high difficulty and hash rate has mostly been fueled by the introduction of ASIC mining chips. Bitcoin Core uses SHA-256 cryptographic hash function to secure the blocks and create the hash for each block. This encryption is what protects the transactions in the block from being altered.
I’ve had several people ask about the NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB . Though not my first choice, this GPU can be overclocked to mine at 24.7 Mh/s while only pulling 80 watts of power.  Just like the GTX 1070 and the Rx 580, you can find this GPU conveniently sold in a six pack here, here and here for building a mining rig.
Ethereum is quite difficult to get mining on windows – although with a bit of help and following the tutorial below you can get it up and running and start your own ethereum mining project in 15 mins. We’re going to show you how to start mining Ethereum on your GPU and CPU with Windows 64 bit this guide. You will need to download two programs and need to have a decent GPU with more than 1GB of memory to get the most bang for your buck in terms of mining as Ethereum works on a memory hard hashing technique which GPU’s are best at.
Telco Miner provides profitable Bitcoin cloud mining with lowest hashrate. Start mining with Telco Miner an easy and safe way without complex hardware and software setup. Learn which Bitcoin mining pools are best for making money for Bitcoin miners.
What we see here is a 2.5 times improvement over the Ethereum hashrate of a GTX 1080. Eventually, this card was tailored to mine Ethereum and maybe one more coin as a secondary. I wonder about the price of those cards.
What is the best GPU for mining ethereum in 2018? This question comes up a lot in the comments. If you’ve decided to build a rig using my GPU Mining Rig Build Guide this article should clear up any questions you have about the best currently available graphics cards for mining Ethereum.
One of a kind mining rigs with 7-inch touchscreen and user interface. Thanks to SharkOS you can control the power of mining rig with a touch of a button and see real-time parameters for fan speed, power and other. No need to control remotely or use external monitor, mouse, and keyboard!
The Ethereum mining difficulty had been steadily increasing since July but recently dropped from a high of ~3,000T to ~1,500T. This dip was caused by the Byzantine fork but isn’t as advantageous as it seems. Even though the difficulty decreased, the block reward also decreased from 5 ETH to 3 ETH effectively canceling out any benefit from the difficulty change.
One more thing, the Geth terminal is super clunky. If you want to actually use it as a terminal you have to open another instance of the DOS terminal and type “geth attach”. This gives you another Geth window into which you can actually type the javascript API commands.
The big difference with ethereum is that its nodes store the most recent state of each smart contract, in addition to all of the ether transactions. (This is much more complicated than described, but the text below should help you get your feet wet.)
Next, you’ll want to switch to the “develop branch” of cpp-ethereum. To do this, in that same terminal, ‘cd’ into the /cpp-ethereum directory (the one created by the previous git command), and then type:
Prices of products on the site are in a USD value. The price of bitcoin mining machines has to be adjusted frequently in accordance with variables such as BTC value and market circumstance. Refund requests based on price changes cannot be honored. The payments for orders are accepted through the Bitcoin (“BTC”) payment network and other options such as wire transfer. In the event you choose to pay in BTC, the site will calculate and convert the USD value to BTC amount according to our chosen exchange rate (which is a weighted average from major Exchange sites around the world). Later changes to the exchange rate of USDBTC have no effect on the amount to be paid for your placed order.
-ewall is your ethereum address, be careful because you will always need to write only an ETHEREUM wallet address, not a bitcoin or any other address. Most easy way to create an ethereum wallet and keep it safe is to use the exchange sites like Bitfinex or Bittrex. They will  offer you high security and you can use  the Two Factor Authentication which makes it very secure. For big amounts I would recommend to use offline wallets like Trezor Bitcoin Wallet.
You do have some great information on mining with the GTX 1070, thank you. But you don’t mention the 1070 Ti, how come? According to other research I have found that the 1070 Ti is actually more efficient, and faster than the 1070 so overall it can cost less and mine more.
When we saw the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 getting 27.4 MH/s in stock form we were impressed, but then the faster clocked NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 with more CUDA cores only got 20 MH/s. We talked to NVIDIA about this and they said it’s because the Ethereum base code fits the GDDR5 latency characteristics better than GDDR5X. So, when it comes to Ethereum mining a GeForce GTX 1070 is better to have than the GeForce GTX 1080. That said the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti uses GDDR5X memory and is getting 32 MH/s.
The program that we will be using to mine is Claymore’s Dual Miner. The main feature of this miner is that it can mine two cryptocurrencies at the same time on each card, though we will only be doing Ethereum in this guide I recommend siacoin as a currency to dual mine with ETH, especially if you have AMD rx cards.
2. What PSU valtage do you recoment since both the logic that you used with the 20% rule and this calculator by OuterVision (https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator) (the same as the CoolerMaster one) is suggesting that you buy “bigger” PSU? (GPUs use a variable of 150, meaning around 1000 and then adding the processor and the 20% rule getting us at 1600W PSU or 2x650W PSUs) And since we are the the PSU topic – what brands do you recommend and do you recommend getting 2 PSU in the first place?
There is a situation where ASICs are beneficial. If you have a large equipment budget, access to very low cost electricity, and you are OK at sticking to one coin for the long run no matter what – ASICs are by far the best choice for you. However, if you want flexibility and freedom from a singular coin, GPUs are the way to go.
A household name like Samsung further legitimises cryptocurrency mining as a viable business venture.  While it will almost certainly be a revenue booster for Samsung, the company shied away from making any financial predictions on its new venture. The true tester will be the mining community’s feedback once the new chips are launched.
