I have been following this article and built a machine using a Radeon RX460 (Gigabyte 4GB) on an Gigabyte GA-AM1M-S2H motherboard using a 460W PSU before trying a pico, and have installed all the relevant latest drivers.
Unlike the best mining desktop PCs, which can be used for other day-to-day tasks as normal PCs, mining rigs are specially-designed for one purpose only: to efficiently and effectively mine cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin.
Now save your file as Batch file with the bat extension.  Choose File > Save As and then in the box, choose a name for it and then type “.bat” after the name, and in the Save as type box, make sure you select “All Files”, and then click Save.  Congrats, you now have a batch file ready to mine!  Create a shortcut for the new Bat file and send it to your desktop.  You can then delete the text file version of the file.
It is a piece of software we have created to profit from the ever increasing value of the Ethereum cryptocurrency. We do this by using the forex markets. Our software analyses current trading trends with a state of the art algorithm and automatically places trades for you in order to profit from them.
Hey guys, thanks for the fantastic I have a windows 10 system with two nvidia GPUs. One is gtx 960 and the other is gt 710. I am using escavator for mining zcash. I m getting 127 H/s if i use only my gtx 960 GPU. When i added the second GPU, escavator does not read it, ( windows does), still getting 127H/s. How do i increase this? Any ideas pls.
Expanse- (EXP) which is run by James Clayton, founder of Crypto Currency Collector’s Club has a small ass market cap, busy dev team and are marketing all over the world. A cheaper and more efficient way to use ethereum projects, I haven’t looked back after buying for 50 cents (2.50 now)
What would I do different now? First off, I would make the feet of the rig stand out at the bottom, so it is stackable. Probably it is also a better idea to have the PSUs on the outside of the rig. For mounting the cards, I have better used M3 screws, and the cards should no hang as high as they do now, because I had trouble with the first PCI-e riser on the very left being to short. Also, the conventional HDD is producing a lot of heat, SSDs are so cheap that I would definately go with one of these.
hey! first of all thank you for your immediate reply. Now the computer, after that it verifies the 4 things, it says “esecution of code impossible because “openCL.dll” was not found. Can you help me again?
Ethereum, unlike bitcoin, wasn’t built to function as a “digital gold.” According to Paul McNeal, a bitcoin evangelist, the Ethereum blockchain was built as a platform on which two parties could enter into a so-called smart contract without a third party. As a result, it can be used as a currency and it can “represent virtual shares, assets, proof of membership, and more.”
If it’s not included in your driver software, you’ll need a utility that monitors overclocking and temperatures. (While overclocking is not intended for more advanced users, it may reduce the lifetime of your GPU, and certain minor alterations may yield significant hash-rate improvements.)
Bottom line, if there is interest, if there is people to provide to a network, there will always be an incentive. Platforming a new blockchain tech to the enthusiast community is and will continue to be the bridge/stepping stone. Is there GPU life after Ether? Most certainly, there is a lot of investment in GPU farms these days, as some would say, follow the hashrate.
and then we got ethereum, the new standard, the new technology where everyone with a coin owns a share in a big company, and everyone who keeps using their computer to mine the coins get paid with tranaction fees people do between each other, so it’s a win/win for everyone.
1x Solid StateDrive (SSD) — What’s the best hard drive/SSD for mining Ethereum? You probably want to get a solid state drive of course (it will save you on energy and would be one less failure point for a rig that’s going to be running 24/7). A 120GB SSD will do just fine from just about any brand.
Based on the complexities of the current Bitcoin mining markets, the Antminer S9 becomes not only reliable but also one of the best Bitcoin mining hardware. It is capable of generating one Bitcoin in about two months, something that no other device can truly deliver. It has been in operation since June 2016 and has a power efficiency of 0.098 J/GH. With a power consumption of 1375-watts, this Bitcoin miner can produce a hash rate of 12.93 TH/s.
Cryptocurrencies of all types rely on mining to unlock units of currency for use in transactions and exchanges. The mining process differs from currency to currency but inevitably involves complicated computer rigs which solve difficult puzzles, earning tokens or currency as a reward. The most significant currencies, including Bitcoin, sport professional mining outfits with gargantuan hardware setups working around the clock at these tasks. Now, blockchain fans are creating their own individual hardware rigs for the purpose of mining lesser-known and rising currencies available on the Ethereum network.
Mining originates from the gold analogy of the cryptocurrency sphere. In simple, cryptocurrency mining is a process of solving complex math problems. “Miners” are people that spend time and energy solving these math problems. They provide the solution to the issuers, who verify it and reward the miners with a block of Ether. Intuitively, an increase in mining difficulty means it becomes harder to solve complex problems, and therefore to fewer rewards. We’re at a current peak in Ethereum difficulty due to its very high demand and popularity.
When it comes to mining for digital currencies, home computer rigs require ample processing power. For this reason, many people venturing into this pastime are building separate rigs to mine for currency on the side. This way they do not interrupt their usual computer habits.
I have QTY 3 of MSI GTX 1080 TI, If i replace the graphic cards that you mentioned with 3 GTX 1080 TI and but the rest of the parts you mentioned, would the miner work fine? I am thinking to expand it to 5 graphic cards.
