For purposes of this guide, we are going to do a detailed walk-through of setting up and using the very popular Claymore Miner.  Get the current version here from Claymore’s original Bitcointalk thread and then follow along with the steps in this video.  The whole process of getting a wallet setup, downloading your miner, configuring things in Windows and setting up your batch file to run should take less than 10 minutes:
The Titan Xp can be overclocked to 42 MH/s, but it will consume 300 W when pushed that hard. It achieves an excellent hash rate without too much expenditure of power. Meanwhile, its top-end AMD rival, the RX Vega 64, achieves a very similar performance for about half the price.
Love the Shader just wish you did not have such a washed out look over all. Have a look at Edi’s Shader or Conquest of the Sun and see how the textures/blocks are more lively. Even and option to do this would be amazing.
Thanks, Steven, very helpful. Not too sure about the DragonMint machine (lots of negative press out there) but Slush does sound reputable. Think my partner and I will jump in and mine Bitcoin and LiteCoin with one machine each.
As I mentioned above, you can choose to build your mining rig with a nice custom built case or you can save money and use a plastic storage crate or milk crate.  Both work equally as well except one won’t look nearly as good.
Designs of the Night Sky moves between the turbulent history of a tribe and the experiences of the survivors of that history still caught in turmoil. Rolling from past to present and present to past, Diane Glancy’s story provokes and illumines while it invites us to reconsider the form and effect of Native American stories in today’s world.

They offer the contracts for a period of one year and during that year you have no extra fees its a one off up front payment. You might wonder how they can do this – the simple reason is that they hedge their profit and loss so there is no risk of everything going wrong – they hedge the ether price. They also guarantee 100% uptime – this means that if your miner goes offline – they will substitute their own machines immediately – kind of like getting replacement car if yours breaks down.
How do i under-volt GPU’s with software ? Will it effect on GPU’s performances if they are under-volt meaning less profitable? How did you initially optimized it exactly and got half of the noise? How to switch fans to AUTO ? And switched to a specified degree, WITH THE SOFTWARE you installed ? Really no noise, like a laptop, less noise meaning less profit or it does not matter? And these GPU’s : AMD RX 480 or AMD RX 470 , are the latest? I am sure each month should be coming out more powerful GPU’s, does it need more RAM ? And water-cooled GPU’s why they are not worth to use, are they quite as laptop, are they twice more expensive?
Something along the lines of X ETH created every block, then proportionately split up according to Casper’s reward structure. How much you have staked wouldn’t matter so much as what proportion of the total amount staked is personally yours.
Second only to Bitcoins, Ethereum and Ether are among the hottest digital assets today when it comes to the world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain based technologies. Mining for Ethereum is much easier compared to mining for Bitcoins simply because of the fact that it is possible to do so even at a home setup without having to invest much.
I was having 20 bitcoins and what i did just read it, the platform is hashflare and you can start with 2.2$ but now it has decreased to 1.8$ which awesome so go and grab the opportunity because the contracts may get sold out or the price may increase drastically. link is down
A quick question: So you’re saying that setting the MC to 600 Mhz gives you a hashrate of 30mh/s? I have a R9 390 8 GB (I’ve been testing it out for Ether mining before I invest in building a multi gpu system), and my MC/CC is set to 1500/1000 mhz and gives me around 30 mh/s. When I overclock it to 1675/1185, it gives me around 34 Mh/s… (Claymore, Win 7 64 bit OS).. temp stays between 60-70 degrees C.

If it wasn’t profitable I can assure you graphics cards wouldn’t be selling out everywhere. It is indeed profitable. If you have a competitive advantage. Think someone is always making a profit, that doesn’t mean everyone is. You want cheap electricity. You can manage with mid rate electricity prices to make a profit too but it’s more of a gamble the higher those costs are.
A hash algorithm turns an arbitrarily-large amount of data into a fixed-length hash. The same hash will always result from the same data, but modifying the data by even one bit will completely change the hash. Like all computer data, hashes are large numbers, and are usually written as hexadecimal. BitCoin uses the SHA-256 hash algorithm to generate verifiably “random” numbers in a way that requires a predictable amount of CPU effort. Generating a SHA-256 hash with a value less than the current target solves a block and wins you some coins.
In the end, my approach is to buy the card with the biggest clock I can afford and stick to the most popular cards people rave about. Only when I get the card I will then forge my own experience and then lay down and cry when it doesn’t go as expected.
Hi T. It’s really hard to make any definite claims about the profitability of mining, as it depends on how Bitcoin price and difficulty will move in the medium term… Try out the calculators with various price / difficulty scenarios which you consider likely. It seems China is clamping down on mining so difficulty might drop for a while until other countries can pick up the slack… but that’s just a guess. It seems to me that the S9 will soon be eclipsed by the DragonMint miner, which claims to be 30% more efficient. However, we’re still waiting for the… Read more »
6) A Case – Again this can be quite a difficult choice to as it will depend on your GPU’s and whether you are using GPU risers. You don’t want components sitting on top of each other as there is a fire hazard potentially. You can leave the whole system open air or even build your own case to give it that personalised touch. You can buy off the shelf rigs from a couple of providers – for example SW mining here have their own set of rigs that take up to a week to ship. They do all the hard work for you.
I finally know what it’s like to live the dream. I no longer feel like I’m on the outside looking in while everyone else has all the fun. The Bitcoin Code has allowed me to retire early and live the 1% lifestyle.
I’m having the same problem as Majorano. I double checked everything up until this point and I am 95% sure it is all correct. Here is what command prompt is giving me (my .bat file is called Armageddon):
Location Utility Rate (cents per kW) Power Consumption (kW) Monthly Cost Hash Rate (MH/s) Estimated First month – Ether Ether Cash Value (07/16/17) Estimated First Month – USD Estimated Profits Profitable?
First and foremost, I am not an expert in digital currency by any means. I am not a financial adviser nor am I suggesting in anyway that you should or should not delve into the digital currency craze. I am simply demonstrating how you can use your Mac hardware to mine Ethereum.

With 6 GPUs all running at full-throttle, it’s best to stick with a 1200W (or higher, but not too high) power supply. If you’re going to go with 4 GPUs (which many people do, despite the hit to profits), then a 1000W power supply will probably be fine. Again, however, it’s best to stick with the power supplies in the highest “platinum” category to maximize your profits, if you can afford it.
I have my rig in the same room that houses my home’s central air system, so the noise is somewhat drowned out. But when the air conditioning system is off, you can hear the miner from 30 feet away. It’s not unbearably loud where I have it, but in a smaller room it could be a nuisance.
It also introduces a few interesting concepts, such as the idea of staking Ether on new transactions, losing one’s stake if they try to validate a fraudulent or otherwise incorrect transaction, eliminating potential threads such as a 51% attack, while introducing new threats specific to the new protocol.
Perhaps one of the biggest threats to life and livelihood when playing in the Aether is the presence of snowballs that mysteriously get hurled from clouds in the sky. This isn’t your grandfather’s snow, and it’s going to hurt when it makes impact. In fact, it will cost health and longevity in Minecraft if any of these snowballs comes into contact with a player. The threats from above are real, and they’re consistent. Get ready to dodge, duck, and run very quickly from what appears to be a snowman scorned. Already scared? Well sure you can use a mod like the Single Player Comands to make the game a lot easier, but I don’t think you should, as it will cost you all the fun.
