On Step #3, make sure to take a look at your actual electric bill and check what your kilowatt rate is. It can vary wildly depending on where you are and make a huge difference in your own profitability.
In the end, my approach is to buy the card with the biggest clock I can afford and stick to the most popular cards people rave about. Only when I get the card I will then forge my own experience and then lay down and cry when it doesn’t go as expected.

There are a few tools out there that will give you your exact solar insolation hours for your area. I’ll post a few links at the bottom of the post. When i designed systems at Affordable Solar Group here in Albuquerque, i would design the systems over the phone so i would use the customer/businesses zip code and basic roof information (really just the pitch of the roof or if it is a flat roof) and the following website:
The tools are made with the same materials as the weapons. The Gravitite tools usually push back enemies and blocks, when they are sand or gravel, are pushed back. When TNT is ignited it will break rather than prime. The Altar is used to enchant the tools and weapons. The enchanted tools are generally more durable, and in the case of swords, more deadly. For armor, enchanting it generally makes it able to withstand more damage.
Blockchain – which emerged as one of the underpinnings of Bitcoin – is a shared record of transactions maintained by a network of computers. It has become a key technology because of its ability to record and keep track of assets or transactions with no need for middlemen.
I’m having the same problem as Majorano. I double checked everything up until this point and I am 95% sure it is all correct. Here is what command prompt is giving me (my .bat file is called Armageddon):
The newer GPUs might only be a little more efficient but with the new high costs they won’t be worth it either way. Problem right now with ETHEREUM is every Dick and Harry started to mine it and the difficulty keeps doubling every 2 months or so.
Just seemed inappropriate is all. But it is trendy as all get out. i know Tom has to be unbiased so even if the miners have single-handedly ruined pricing, put most GFX cards out of reach of many users and basically just bleeped things up Tom’s can’t get personal. They are earning money. Putting food in their kid’s tummies and all that. Who wouldn’t like a little extra on the side. My 1080 Ti was purchased at($10 less) than MSRP back in January.
Thank you. I have waited so long for someone to do this. I’m going to wait and watch the HECK out of the mod until it has a stable, nearly bugless 1.10.2 version. Again, thank you so much for doing this.
Some of the GPUs have a higher hash power than other. In the same fashion, some of the GPUs will use more of your electricity. While choosing the best GPU for Ethereum mining, opt for finding the balance between the power of the rig and how much you are actually are ready to spend on the GPU and the utility bills.
Before making your purchase, calculate the projected profitability of your miner, using the excellent mining profitability calculator from The Genesis Block or this one. You can input parameters such as equipment cost, hash rate, power consumption, and the current bitcoin price to see how long it will take to pay back your investment.
@DarkVarano Indeed, the shadows are quite buggy. And yes, it’s not my fault but I could hardly put blame on daxnitro, think about what he has created! I don’t mind the bugginess for now, and he said he’ll work extra hard to fix the shadows for the next update. I’m looking forward to that very much!
GPU: It’s up to you to choose what graphics card you want to mine with. Do your homework. How much is it. How much power does it need. How fast is it in terms of its hash rate. The GPU must have at least 2GB of memory, AMD cards are best to use and AMD GPU driver 15.12. This Mining Hardware Comparison list is very helpful. http://62.212.74.86/~mining/list/
Hvis du kører Windows Defender eller et andet anti-virus program, tilføje en undtagelse til det, så det ikke gør flaget Claymore minedrift eksekverbare ”EthDcrMiner64.exe” som en virus eller forsøge at deaktivere / slette det.
According to Morgan Stanley estimates, miners today earn roughly $1.76 each day in profits per each GPU owned. That’s up from 56 cents in October. Those figures assume the miner owns an AMD Radeon 580 and pays roughly 70 cents per day for each GPU’s electricity.
I see a lot of people are having this same problem. I believe that something must have changed in the new version of Claymore which is causing this error. Can you perhaps install an older version of Claymore?

  1. In principle we need a monitor to be able to use and visualize the operating system and the mining software. Also a standard hard disk of about 120GB of storage and a DDR3 or DDR4 RAM with a minimum of 4GB.
I just love this statement @jerrybanfield: “The beauty of this system is once we get it built, we can modify it to mine whichever coins are the most profitable instead of relying on a third party to continue paying us out in whatever we started with at a fixed hashing power.”
-Motherboard… you have to choose according with CPU and RAM…. you can get a simple Motherboard for like 60-80$… that will give you 6 PCI-e slots to put 6 Cards… (i did spend 130$ and got one that supports 7 GPUs, but it’s my preference!)
Depending on which equipment you choose, you will need to run software to make use of it. Typically when using GPUs and FPGAs, you will need a host computer running two things: the standard bitcoin client, and the mining software.
