Besides Bitcoin, currencies and tokens like ether and zcash are mined on the premise that computing power can be exchanged for units of currency. As cryptocurrencies begin to expand their reach more broadly into the wider world, a larger number of everyday fans without substantial computer programming background are becoming interested in getting involved in the mining process.
The hash rate is the speed in which your mining rig can solve the mathematical algorithm needed to validate a transaction. New miners are constantly entering the market with better and faster hash rates.
It’s possible to manage the heat with air conditioning and additional fans, but for every fan you add to the equation, the noise levels rise ever so slightly. With four cards and the extra fan running, the mining rig produces 54-56dB of constant noise. Admittedly, the small 8-inch fan that I’m running produces the bulk of the noise, but even with the fan turned off, the volume level in the room is considerable.
I’ve had success both ways and so if you run into an issue with one method delete the drivers and try the other method.  And if you do need to remove your drivers use the DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) program from Guru3d.com to remove everything cleanly and then start over.
A close second choice for a mining GPU if the Nvidia is hard to find or out of stock, would be the AMD Rx 580 and AMD Rx 570.  The Rx 580 does 29Mh/s and the Rx 570 does 27Mh/s. All mining rig build requirements are the same for either the 1070 or the Rx 580/570. The primary reason I like the GTX 1070 is the lower power usage (100w vs 135w per GPU) when mining. If you want to give your power supply a little extra headroom to run the Rx 580, I’d recommend upgrading to a 1200 watt power supply.
No, Eth is very simple to mine… you just need a GPU(in a computer, obviously), a Miner Software, an Address and a Pool… (the only thing that may vary are the configs for the GPU, and the configs for the Miner)
Quite the opposite I’d think. Gamers purchasing high end cards wouldn’t want them to be hamstrung by lack of VRAM to play at higher resolutions, whereas I don’t think most mining algorithms would be significantly affected. The only concern would be Eth DAG size reaching 3.5 GB, but it’s entirely possible it’ll go PoS and end eth mining before then anyway. And regardless, you can always mine a different coin.
14.73 ETH – Now, that already seems as a nice result. If converted back to the USD using today’s ETH pricing (which is wrong, as we have no clue what will be the price for ETH at the end of 2018) we could get $6959.33, or profit at $3,079. Nice.
Gold Dungeons are located within spherical islands with many Golden Oak trees growing on top of them. This dungeon usually only has the boss room in it, with no treasure/mob rooms beforehand. The boss cannot be killed by attacking it directly and must be killed by hitting the white object he throws back at it multiple times. Every time it is hit with the white object, it sends out a smaller version of itself to kill you. Once you kill the Sun Spirit, the sun will finally set in the Aether. Before you kill the Gold Boss, the sun will never go down. They Are not currently Implemented into the Aether II.
Amount of memory: Finally we must look at the amount of memory of the graphics unit. Currently the minimum required is 4GB of VRAM. However, as the size of the DAG file is progressive, it is best to have a unit with 8GB of VRAM.
Sorry for the long reply, but here are devices that do what the website i sent you do to your exact site instead of the average of the zip code used. The first one i list is one that i used when i taught PV (photovotaic) system design classes at the local community college. Honestly, the website gives a solid number that can be adjusted to fit the locality better and i am always happy to help with anything like this since i have 7 years of PV design experience:
I get to page (4) in the tips it says that I do not require forge but then in the instructions it says the first thing it tells me is I need to download forge? even though previously it said there was two options and I didn’t have to, I think what ever no biggy I’ll download forge so I click the link it takes me to another page (5)
Det andet: Sørg for at installere Windows Service pack1 uden det. Det vil ellers være dejligt minearbejder at sværge på, hvad der ikke er installeret biblioteket og løse dette problem kun ved at installere Service pack 1.
We know Ether mining is supposed to be ASIC-proof (for now) so I’d love to hear – or see – what kind of old-school mining setups the bigger miners are using and if they have invested in new gear or recycled old gear from their SHA256/Scrypt days?
Bottom line, if there is interest, if there is people to provide to a network, there will always be an incentive. Platforming a new blockchain tech to the enthusiast community is and will continue to be the bridge/stepping stone. Is there GPU life after Ether? Most certainly, there is a lot of investment in GPU farms these days, as some would say, follow the hashrate.

  1. To minimize the disruptions to your mining and settings you may want to also disable Windows Updates.  If you feel more secure leaving them on, you can do so and just understand there are very frequent updates that sometimes reboot your system without you’re involvement and therefore stop your mining.
The Vega represents the latest in AMD GPU architecture. While the standard air-cooled Vega series runs a little too hot for serious overclocking, this special edition stays cool enough to reach 42 MH/s, while drawing just under 300 Watts! This feature represents an amazing value: It can match the overclocked performance of Nvidia’s Titan Xp, but only costs half the price.
“It [the botnet] works primarily on the Claymore Mining equipment that allows management actions on 3333 ports with no password authentication enabled (which is the default config),” the team says. ” In order to prevent potential abuse, we will not discuss [in] too much detail.”
You’d need to look those numbers up. I’m only familiar with the 4GB model. The 2GB is probably significantly slower at solving crypto compared to the 4GB. It’s not so big that you shouldn’t be mining, but it is big enough to throw off your power cost calculations.
Experimentation with various GPU selections in the calculator will reveal a card with the best price to performance to power consumption combination (expressed as MH/s per Currency Unit). Keep in mind that AMD cards outperform NVidia for cryptocurrency mining purposes.
