Ethereum is more flexible than Bitcoin due to the presence of its own Turing complete internal code, which means that with sufficient time and computing power, it can calculate anything. There is no such flexibility in Bitcoin.
Oh man this mod looks great! Will get a mod spotlight done up so that more people know about it! Suggestion: Put this mod on planetminecraft if you havent already so that you can get more views and downloads! You totally deserve it man!
If you assume all initial purchases of HW are in the past therefore sunk costs and don’t want to factor those into the picture when determining if you investment was profitable yes you could naively look at this as “ETH is profitable to mine in 2018!” However what you’re really answering is “Is it still wise to continue mining ETH in 2018”
You all are so dumb THERE IS NOT SHADERS FOR 1.8 1.8.1, IF YOU LOOK ON Sonic Ethers Facebook he Never even released a version for it yet your being scammed here with a Old version of Shaders on a new version thats why u all have bugs and Errors and shit. Dont download unless Sonic Ether posts on his FB or his Site dont trust these sites!!
Hey there! Could you maybe try to get this to work on macOS as well? When I start it then it gives me a bunch of “invalid program:” and then several different things. (composite, gbuffers, final and others)
After the appearance of the Voice in the Darkness, the Æther was utterly transformed. It was abandoned by the mod developers after the corruption and somehow the voice slaid the immortal Aerwhales. Those that survived became war mounts for the dark army. The moas were tamed, saddled and armoured for battle. The Phygs and Flying Cows were mounted and the peaceful Sheepuffs and Aerobunnies were murdered. The blueberry bushes were devoured and rationed as food for the troops and the ambrosium once used to grow them was made into healing foods so that the pigmen couldn’t die in battle.
Skycoin’s meticulously designed miners are the backbone of the new internet. Energy-efficient Skyminers transmit information to our mesh network to earn Skycoin without the environmental cost of traditional mining.

I have been saving up parts for the last 2 years for gpu mining I currently have 10 AMD HD 7670 2GB DDR5 cards and minimal experience in mining. Just wondering how to figure out what my Hashrate would be and how to effeciently set this up. Shoot me an email buddy. Cheers.
The new AMD RX Vega line simply dominates the competition now when you compare price, hash rate, and power consumption. With a little tweaking, they are pretty insane. They can still be found too. Check out the latest review and my feedback on the best GPUs for mining: https://cryptosrus.com/best-gpu-for-mining/
Disclosure: Mining metrics are calculated based on a network hash rate of 234,245 GH/s and using a ETH – USD exchange rate of 1 ETH = $ 738.07. These figures vary based on the total network hash rate and on the ETH to USD conversion rate. Block reward is fixed at 3 ETH and future block reward reductions are not taken into account. The average block time used in the calculation is 15 seconds. The electricity price used in generating these metrics is $ 0.12 per kWh. Network hash rate varies over time, this is just an estimation based on current values.
Hi, convincing video… I’m only small-time but I’ll give it a go – I signed up at Genesis with your code (here’s mine: eEklqh) – whatever happens, soar or bust, I appreciate your info – good luck mate!
We implement showcases of the benefits that a Trezor can have on overall user’s online security. But all that can be done without compromising on the security of your coins. Why? Because applications such as Password Manager work outside of Trezor and the user “only” uses the signatures from Trezor to sign any transaction – be it sending BTC, or encrypting a string of text.
Mining Ethereum can be done in a variety of ways – you can buy a cloud contract  and get someone else to do all the hard work for you, or you can do it yourself and get your GPU, or Graphics Card, up and running. However the efficiency of your graphics card can vary a lot and picking one can be quite difficult. What we have done is make the process easier for you by picking a handful of suppliers and showing you how to choose which GPU mines the most and which GPU is the best value for money.
Keep in mind, though, the mining world is a whirlwind of change. The tools that you pick up today might be obsolete next year, and some mining pools might fall away while others emerge, so it’s worth keeping aware of industry shifts.
Could you write an article about how the cryptocurrencies get the money to pay to their miners. What they do with all the computations your graphic cards are making and if every time they increase the difficulty of mining a coin, does the additional calculations produce something of value or just create busy work. How safe is it allow somebody you don’t know to have unlimited, unmonitored access to you computer.
worst article ever, get your fact right, you state different speeds for the same card (RX vega 64) and clearly you dont have a clue, i mine with rx580 and my hashrate its 30 with bios mod and propper patched drivers for mining
But, here is a good trick that keeps me going – When I mine Ethereum I do not sell it immediately I wait till the prices of Ethereum has gone up. By this way, my return of investment is met very early.
On Step #3, make sure to take a look at your actual electric bill and check what your kilowatt rate is. It can vary wildly depending on where you are and make a huge difference in your own profitability.
Alternative #2: Awesome Miner can connect to any computer running Claymore’s Dual Ethereum+Decred Miner if the API is enabled. It can be any computer, Windows or Linux, as long as the mining is running already.
Note that buying used cards from crypto miners is not recommended, due to the wear and tear mining places on cards. If you resell your card after it’s no longer useful for mining, you should mention that it was used for mining, then price it accordingly.
I made this same question in Bitcointalk and a veteran told me “we will talk about another more profitable coin in 1-2 years, guaranteed…”, so we don’t need to worry about it stopping being profitable soon… I asked him/her how s/he can be so confident, and the reply was that it’s because it happened 3 times before. I said that it doesn’t mean it will be the same thing from now on just because of that. He didn’t reply me anymore…
-Motherboard… you have to choose according with CPU and RAM…. you can get a simple Motherboard for like 60-80$… that will give you 6 PCI-e slots to put 6 Cards… (i did spend 130$ and got one that supports 7 GPUs, but it’s my preference!)
Mining Ethereum is not only time-consuming process, it is also will cost you extra on your electricity bills. However, if you use the efficient Ethereum mining hardware, you will be able to significantly reduce the operational costs. Bear in mind, that Ethereum mining requires some setup costs. Moreover, the mining process is requiring some level of technical knowledge.
This might be a slight necro (apologies in advance) but I would love to hear why you’re hodling ETC as opposed to ETH. Given that there is fundamentally no difference between them apart from some users not being able to retrieve their stolen ETH, your position and the supposed upside you mention is perplexing.
Hvis du gerne vil have en emulator for 42eren kan du finde den på http://hp.giesselink.com/emu42.htm. Det er for pc, pocket pc, Windows mobil med mere. Her ligger også emulator for 17B, 17BII, 27S med mere.
ehhh I live in a town where there is probably 0 people mining bitcoins, I have to drive 150 miles at least to buy bitcoin from a btc atm. I dont think I will have trouble finding old graphics cards. But ya thanks
Mining ethereum isn’t profitable anymore. Since there is an exponential increase in mining difficulty, Ether mined in a month gonna decrease exponentially too. I’m currently making around 0.75 Ether a month but that’s not constant. I’ve done the whole analysis here taking my case as an example.
You’re attributing much too broad a brush to people. There are plenty of reasons to keep around leftover computer parts, other than sentimentality. You might want a backup incase your new hardware gets damages, is a lemon, etc. You might hang on to some stuff because you’ve got friends or family that might want it when they finally decide to ditch their current dinosaurs.
Step 8 — Connect your power button. You’re probably going to have to take a peek at your motherboard manual to do this correctly (it varies a little bit between boards), but you need to connect your power button to the motherboard. Just find which pins correlate with the button (they’re probably at the bottom of the motherboard, on the opposite side from the CPU).
It is my opinion that the Ethereum fiasco has damaged crypto permanently and thrown a lot of questions up in to the air about the real true value of any of this stuff. Also your only a pioneer on here if you vest and power up. Without steem power you are nothing, i see the door is closing and its a race to the top.
While this GPU is not as powerful in terms of hash-power when compared to the aforementioned Radeon R9 295X2 and Radeon R9 HD 7990 processors, it is still very popular because of the fact that it is the most economic options for mining Ethereum. It comes with a slower hash-power of 25 MH/s but saves a lot when it comes to electricity.

This is great info. I’ve just built a mining rig, and I’ve written up a post on how I did it. The post focuses on building the case, not software or which components to buy. http://blog.timwheeler.io/building-an-ethereum-mining-rig/.
For all still new to the experience of the Aether (be it Aether I/Aether II) to get to the Aether you must make a 4×5 portal frame (yes, it is limited to 4×5) using Glowstone. From there a water bucket is needed to get the portal going and from there you are ready to head to the Aether.
ok ok ok … lets just put an hypotetical bubble in here… if you dont need to pay for electricity, lets say that you have your own mini plant or a landfield of solarpower what would be the other bottlenecks in this… internet speed?, hardware… heat?
