This is the number of calculations that your hardware can perform every second as it tries to crack the mathematical problem we described in our mining section. Hash rates are measured in megahashes, gigahashes, and terahashes per second (MH/sec, GH/sec, and TH/sec. The higher your hash rate (compared to the current average hash rate), the more likely you are to solve a transaction block. The bitcoin wiki’s mining hardware comparison page is a good place to go for rough information on hash rates for different hardware.
Alternative #2: Awesome Miner can connect to any computer running Claymore’s Dual Ethereum+Decred Miner if the API is enabled. It can be any computer, Windows or Linux, as long as the mining is running already.
Horses wearing horse armor don’t seem to shadow properly. They remain fully-shadowed, even when in broad daylight. Other then that bug, this shader’s water is the best I’ve seen in all of the shader mods. I get a steady 30 FPS with a few bells and whistles turned on with a GTX760. Thing is, it’s a buttery-smooth 30 FPS, so I don’t mind it so much. Looking at the shader code itself, there seems to be a lot of redundant code that could get pre-calculated into a variable then the var’s value used instead of constantly re-calculating the same thing over and over. eg: the code will have “value 1 * this * that” then next line have “value 2 * this * that” … if you just pre-calc “this * that” together, then you do that once and then use the pre-calc’ed value for the future calculations. There’s quite a few spots like this where it seems to code could be tweaked to save cycles. Also, there’s quite a bit of if/else branching, and genrerally don’t handle branching very well. The shader coding itself is pretty brilliant, but I’m wondering if cleaning up and optimizing the GLSL code would squeak out a few more FPS. Other then that, once you use SEUS, you’re pretty much spoiled for any other shader mod. I tried almost all of the others. A few got me a buttery smooth 60FPS, but very bare-bones, and usually there was something that just annoyed me (normally how the water was done). SEUS does so much stuff right…. and the water … very very nice.
I personally use a few GTX 1070s for mining ethereum.  I can undervolt them to use only 105 watts and speed up the memory clock just a tiny bit to pull right at 30 MH/s.  I was able to buy a couple of the EVGA hybrids which use an awesome watercooling system, and they hold up very well.  Be warned that if you want to get into ethereum mining there is a little bit more knowledge necessary.  Its not as simple as purchasing an ASIC miner and plugging it in.  There are sourcing issues as most GPUs are scarce to find, limited to purchase quantities, and overpriced at today’s demand.  Then you need a bit of knowledge in building computers to get everything going, but I’ve found that the best bundles are from GPUSHACK, so you don’t have to search high and low to get all your parts.  Then you need to figure out how to build a rig to support them in a way to promote heat dispersion and airflow for temperature control.  Plus the fact of tweaking your settings constantly to get the least possible power consumption with the highest possible profit return.  I don’t know if my passion comes through my post as it does in real life, but to me its actually more fun building the systems than running them.  You have to start somewhere!
There are two types of mining hardware: CPUs and GPUs. GPUs boast a higher hash rate, meaning they can guess puzzle answers more quickly. At time of writing, GPUs are now the only option for ether miners.
Nvidia cards are more expensive to buy in general, but also more efficient. With electricity in Germany being 3x the price of north American electricity, it would have been a really bad idea for me to go and even pay a premium just to get one of the few AMD cards available.
In a recent post, I outlined how the use of real-world resources tie cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ether back to real world monetary value. Today, I’m going to flip the script and talk about Ethereum’s plan to eliminate the need for heavy duty computing power, and why that may not be such a bad thing from a financial perspective.
Oh man this mod looks great! Will get a mod spotlight done up so that more people know about it! Suggestion: Put this mod on planetminecraft if you havent already so that you can get more views and downloads! You totally deserve it man!
Never underestimate the power of the Radeon RX 400 series. The Radeon RX 480 is not only the cheapest GPU in this list, it is also easily the most economic GPU. This card has a hash rate of 25 MH/s while only drawing 150 W at max load. You’ll make over $700 USD annually per card! Comparitively to the RX 580, this card is an awesome Ethereum miner!
Mining Ethereum can be done in a variety of ways – you can buy a cloud contract  and get someone else to do all the hard work for you, or you can do it yourself and get your GPU, or Graphics Card, up and running. However the efficiency of your graphics card can vary a lot and picking one can be quite difficult. What we have done is make the process easier for you by picking a handful of suppliers and showing you how to choose which GPU mines the most and which GPU is the best value for money.
Choose the Wattman tab and scroll down until you reach the entry for Voltage Control (mV). From within this menu, you can reduce the voltage. However, keep in mind that your GPU draws a different voltage at each frequency. Personally, I use a 100 mV undervolt at each frequency. So, for STATE 1 through 7, I reduce the voltage by 100. The lowest it can go for the RX 480 is 800, so you’ll notice that the first two entries are at 800:
After a bit of digging, the culprit is likely the method of which my RX 580 GPU is connecting to my MacBook Pro. The eGPU enclosure that houses the RX 580 is connected via Thunderbolt 3 and as fast as that port is, the bandwidth is restricted to 1/4 the full x16 speed of a PCIe slot. So even if I had all 4 of my Thunderbolt 3 ports connected to eGPU enabled RX 580s, I still would not get the performance of a single RX 580 connected via a PCIe slot on a PC.
However it must also be kept in mind that most professional miners would never mine with a single GPU. They create ‘rigs’ with multiple GPUs running together. Most commonly used rigs are 6-GPU Ethereum Mining Rigs and 8-GPU Ethereum Mining Rigs. On many occasions multiple such rigs are used together. We will discuss rigs in depth in a later chapter.
If you’re reading a newbie’s guide to Ethereum mining and have a GPU powerful enough to make it worthwhile, we’re going to assume you’re running Windows so we’ll focus on mining Ethereum on that platform.
Danger from below is pretty consistent as well. The Aether prefers to trip players up with slime. Actually, it prefers to send them sky high just because they stepped on a little bit of yellow slime as they made their way through the Aether’s bizarre, alternative universe. And, as if that wasn’t enough, the sand present in the Aether doesn’t behave according to plan, either. Whereas the sand in most other Minecraft areas actually slows the player down, the sand in the Aether has the effect of drinking fifteen morning coffees. Players will find themselves moving uncontrollably fast through the game, and they’ll likely fall of the island where they were located. That will take them back to the entrance portal, and cost them a bit of health in the process. After all, players should never expect to fall out of the sky unharmed.
i think you have a multiple gpu on a single card needs correct driver, did you have a previously cards installed on the machine they will disable auto if they aren’t installed anymore, this is what the AMD pro said to me when it happened to me,, We are currently getting reports of stability issues with some R9 380 GPUs, apologies for any inconvenience caused.
And if i do install Claymore Dual Miner onto Linux OS, is this software only good for Ethereum mining ? If i want to mine for another crypto currency, do i need to install another software on Linux OS for that ??? Do other mining software available for Linux OS ?
Sekund (i gennemsnit). Blokke identificeres ved deres ”height” starter fra 0 og inkrementere sekventielt indtil den aktuelle blok.

Make sure to monitor CPU usage due to hardware interupts when tuning pci latency. With pci latency timer set too high, I had 100% CPU usage and mining barely worked. With it set too low, cards wouldn’t be detected at all.
The beauty of this system is once we get it built, we can modify it to mine whichever coins are the most profitable instead of relying on a third party to continue paying us out in whatever we started with at a fixed hashing power. Thank you for reading this and I hope you have a wonderful day! If this post was helpful, would you please vote it up because that helps me to continue writing more for you?
Profitability decline per year – This is probably the most important and elusive variable of them all. The idea is that since no one can actually predict the rate of miners joining the network no one can also predict how difficult it will be to mine in 6 weeks, 6 months or 6 years from now. This is one of the two reasons no one will ever be able to answer you once and for all “is Bitcoin mining profitable ?”. The second reason is the conversion rate. In the case below, you can insert an annual profitability decline factor that will help you estimate the growing difficulty.
So just to make sure I have got it, win10+ claymore’s dual miner if I want to mine ETH and something else (let’s say SIA), otherwise, if I just want to mine ETH I can simply use win10+ethminer, is that correct?
The Ether, aka The Place of Doors is the Sky Dimension and the dwelling place of The Voice in the Darkness. It was also the home of the Nameless Protagonist, Steve’s brother, while under the influence of the Mind Amulet. It was originally called the Aether, but after it was twisted into darkness it was renamed to the Ether. Steve explored it extensively with his brother before The Voice in the Darkness arrived.
FYI, I built this ETH mining calculator into a cryptocoin portfolio app I released awhile back, when I was mining on my Radeon R9 280 3GB…the link to the difficulty needs to be updated, I’ll have to revise that part sometime soon when I have time: http://www.dragonfrugal.com/coin-prices/index.php#tab4
Sidenote: If mining isn’t your thing, and you are just interested in purchasing some cryptocurrency as part of your investment portfolio, I personally use and recommend Coinbase. I would also recommend keeping your coins safe using the Ledger Nano S hardware wallet. This hardware wallet supports all the major cryptos including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Zcash, Dash, Stratis, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash, Ark, Expanse, ubiq, Pivx, Vertcoin and Viacoin. Did I miss any?

  1. There are differences in the economic model of the two as well. In Bitcoin, the rewards are halved after every 4 years, while there is no such thing in Ethereum; the same amount of Ether are released each year.

The decision whether Bitcoin is worth mining lies with you, but if you need some of the best mining devices for this precious cryptocurrency, then there you go. Getting the best ASIC miner would definitely pay off. The choice is yours.
