I need some help. I downloaded the mod for version 1.8, and I installed the shader packs into their corresponding folders, but when I try to enter a world with shaders enabled, Minecraft crashes. Well yeah, we are still early in the grand scheme of things. Until I’m showing my friends/family how to use crypto I’m still way ahead of the game. Figured id missed the boat on apple once the i phone came out but in reality the ride was only just beginning.
When Ethereum started off, the original vision was to have it mined via the CPU itself. The primary reason behind this (and making mining Ethereum ASIC-resistant) is that this will help provide fair competition. (While this is debatable it is still fairer than ASIC-led mining). However, while the original intention was to have Ether mined on CPU, miners soon discovered that the GPU led mining is faster because it provides a greater hashing power.
What do you want to optimise for? Lowest upfront cost per unit hashrate? Lowest ongoing cost (upfront + electricity)? Best hashrate per unit electricity? Lowest heat (and electricity) per unit hashrate?
Beware that this calculation does not account for risks and other costs. This seems, however, a good way for those who have a partially used GPU for other purposes to recover their initial investment and more.
GPU: It’s up to you to choose what graphics card you want to mine with. Do your homework. How much is it. How much power does it need. How fast is it in terms of its hash rate.   1. When it comes to the functionality of Ether, the technology behind smart contracts is what interests people most. However, as we just saw, the building of new applications on top of the Ethereum blockchain will also drive up demand.
    The device is marginally different as it offers a slightly slower hash-rate of 24 MH/s. It comes out into the markets with a 4GB Graphic Card RAM. The daily power cost of this GPU stands in at $0.4320, with the cost per MH/s at $9.13.
    Depends on how you define worst. This is meant to be an ethereum rig, which means it gets about a year of mining before it wont serve that purpose anymore. Therefore, as the post stated it was build for a dual purpose 1) to suite my needs for work 2) To pay for itself so I basically get free hardware out of it that is top of the line for high throughput parallel process. Based on those criteria it is in fact the best choice, though I understand it might be a very poor choice if you goal is to be a long term cryptominer beyond ethereum and in to the future. Not me however/
