Sparing you the details, my plan failed. It turns out that trading 300k lots on a $10,000 account is not very forgiving. I lost 20% of my account in 3 weeks. I didn’t know what hit me. Something was wrong. Luckily, I stopped trading at that point and was fortunate enough to land a job at a Forex broker, FXCM. I spent the next couple of years working with traders around the world and continued to educate myself about the Forex market. It played a huge role in my development to be the trader I am today. 3 years of profitable trading later, it’s been my pleasure to join the team at DailyFX and help people become successful or more successful traders.

Also, there are many more Dogecoins in circulation right now. While this means that each coin has a very small value, it also makes it psychologically much easier to use, since it’s more satisfying and understandable to buy something for a few hundred Dogecoins, instead of perhaps a fraction of a single Bitcoin (even considering smaller Bitcoin denominations such as mBTC).

After that go to “Save As” and change the “Save as type” to “All Files” and then name the script “overclock.bat”. That way you will create a Batch file the same type as Claymores “start.bat” and it will work in very similar way.

A short-sale is like a forward trade, except the trader sells the foreign currency first. He will buy them later. He hopes that the currency’s value falls in the future. (Source: Intro to Currency Trading, OANDA. “Profit in Falling Markets (Short-Sale Selling Basics),” DailyFX.com, February 8, 2012)

Currency Pair: We wouldn’t have a Forex market if we weren’t able to compare the value of one currency against the value of another currency. It is this comparison that drives prices. Forex contracts are always quoted in pairs. The Euro vs. the U.S. dollar (EUR/USD) is the most heavily traded currency pair. The U.S. dollar vs. the Japanese yen (USD/JPY) is another popular pair.

The pairing of the currencies is presented as a rate, which reflects the ratio between the values of the two currencies. For instance, the rate for buying the pair GBPUSD is 1.50514, i.e. £1 GBP = $1.50514 USD.

Note: Because X11 is a different mining algorithm compared to Scrypt, the hashrate range is different, and usually much higher. This doesn’t really affect profitability either way, it’s just something to be aware of when comparing rates between different mining setups.

Limit orders: These orders instruct your broker to execute a trade at a specific price. For instance, you can buy currency when it reaches a certain price or sell currency if it lowers to a particular price.

Currently, only the Star Wars Collector’s Edition model appears to be available from Nvidia. While these Jedi Order cards certainly look great, cosmetic features add nothing to the mining performance.

Decide on which service you will like to use for your wallet, and sign up to it. I’ve created a Poloniex account, as I plan on doing some trading with the Ether I mine to try and further increase my profits. Make a note of your address. It should look something like this: 0x7b5eff562ee17b9e27a7af6afc26944266c8b025.

Carefull, as you can see in the displayed image in my case, I have on this mining rig 7 GPU’s enabled. The first one is GPU and it’s ID is -p0 , all others are mining gpu’s (p1,…p6). So if you have your integrated GPU disabled or for some reason you use a motherboard that does not have it, then your mining GPU id’s start from p0, but you can see the GPU’s order as displayed in the picture below. The GPU’s order in OverdriveNtool is the same as in the GPU-Z and Claymore 11.2.

One of the fastest (generally available) cards at the moment is the R9 290, however you’ll need to pay for the privilege of getting your 850-900KH/sec. They will pull down about 320-330W when mining, so you’ll need a hefty PSU also.

The Dell XPS Tower Edition is a compact and almost plain-looking PC, but hidden beneath this exterior is an impressive array of components. Inside you’ll find your choice of the latest in GPU tech, in addition to a blazing-fast 7th generation Intel CPU and a spacious hard drive and/or SSD. Now, the Special Edition is only available in the US, but our readers in the UK and Australia will still be able to buy the regular Dell XPS Tower and beef it up to the same level through Dell’s configuration page. This is definitely a great mining PC that allows you to tweak and configure without having to know about building your own PC.

you get the error on 4000 or 8000 bytes wrong size, that means that you want to flash the wrong bios (some older cards have a 512kb bios, exact same new version of cards use a 256kb bios, that means that you wanted to flash the older bios to the new cary type and of course you got rejected. You need to always be careful about what bios you are flashing).

Trading Forex can be a very profitable business for the individual trader, but like every high reward business it also has significant risks.  Research and study the markets and paper or demo trade before placing your first live trade.

One of the many advantages of having a robot run your organization is that it is immune to any outside influence as it’s guaranteed to execute only what it was programmed to. And because the Ethereum network is decentralized, you’ll be able to provide services with a 100% uptime guarantee.

The above scenarios assume that your average profit will be about 1.5 times your risk (or greater), and that you’ll win about 60 percent of your trades. This is not always easy to accomplish consistently. Your personal trading style will largely determine your profitability or lack of it. Though, how much money you trade forex with will play a significant role in your ability to meet your trading goals.

  1. According to Morgan Stanley estimates, miners today earn roughly $1.76 each day in profits per each GPU owned. That’s up from 56 cents in October. Those figures assume the miner owns an AMD Radeon 580 and pays roughly 70 cents per day for each GPU’s electricity.
GPU’s get random hashrate drops, for example it shows 29.5MH/s, but sometimes it will randomly drop to 20 MH/s for no reason in the logs, and that happens very often. The way Claymore software tries to force your GPU’s to stay at those clock rates is terrible, and it will not work properly if a new Driver from AMD comes out.
