First you need a computer, or graphics card, that is capable of computing an algorithm that it attempts to solve in order to generate some Ether. For Ethereum, the ‘block’ that your video cards are attempting to find generates on average every 15 seconds. I’ve tried creating a batch script with every iteration of the final line, it does nothing. The CMD prompt appears and then closes within a second. I’ve been at this for HOURS. Any help would be awesome….
I have rewrote it to make it useable for all users and make their mining easier. I have added about 60% code to check for stupid things users may do and much better error handling to ensure your mining will be absolutely flawless.

Cloud mining is very profitable and i highly suggest it everyone doing so. I do cloud investing since 1 1/2 years now, on many platforms. Mainly I use Hash Flare because it has given me the greatest returns for my deposits. If a card you own or plan on buying did not make this list, that does not mean that’s it’s a bad card by any means. This list is purely based on my opinions, as well as the price of the cards and the raw performance numbers. Though there are other cards which are great for mining, such as GTX 1080 Ti or RX Vega 64 (which I did not include due to their high cost), these cards on the list are just my recommendations. That being said, the more powerful your mining hardware is the more likely you are to successfully mine Ether, and in turn generate a profit. If you use one of the three GPUs mentioned above, you’re off to a good start.
The next cost is power cost, though this shouldn’t be an issue unless you are using inefficient graphics cards (cards with a low hash rate and high power draw) and living in a country with high power costs. Basically, you need to get the necessary GPUs, as many as are necessary or affordable and looks for the most efficient ones. They are usually hard to find. Next, get a motherboard and a power unit which can support all your GPUs at once. You may also need a CPU, RAM, a processor and a rigged case. The most important necessity here, however, is the management of the rig, settling the payment agreements for the respective miners, based on their performance, and their charges also, as the case may be.
Another option are dedicated mining cards. These cards are made specifically for miners and offer a hash rate and efficiency bump over their gaming orientated counterparts, without the need for you to do much tweaking (overclocking and undervolting). However, most of these cards do not have display connectors making them useless to gamers. This makes the card worthless for resale, so if something happens to the cryptosphere making crypto worthless, say if some global superpower outlaws Bitcoin and other currencies alike making crypto worthless, you won’t be able to get a penny back from these dedicated cards. If you are confident in the success of cryptocurrency however, and are willing to take the risk, these cards are an excellent option.

One of the benefits in investing a couple hundred, or a thousand into a mining computer instead of into the currency you are eventually going to mine, is the fact that in the very unlikely event that the headline in the morning is “United Nations Ban All Forms Of Digital Currencies,” you can still sell your mining computer. At a loss nonetheless, but it’s still better than nothing. However, if you invested that amount into a currency instead, that currency will most likely be worth nothing. Although there still is the chance that the currency goes up by 100% overnight, leaving you in the dust with a mere mining rig.
