Drill holes in your brace so that you can secure it with cable ties (see image). Do not simply rest the brace on the crate! An accidental bump can cause it to fall into the crate, along with ~$1000 worth of GPUs if you do that!

Genesis mining is the best cloud mining company in the world. They have great customer service team, many payment options including credit card and contracts approvals are immediate after receiving payments. I really recommend Genesis mining for any person who is welling to enter mining sector.
M2 to PCI Adapters: $20. You need two adapters for one rig, $10 each. They are made in China and are somewhat problematic. Some batches can be okay while others, every second or third adapter is not working correctly.
They are all priced the same on a cost per MH basis  – usually you get a discount the more you buy. However this is due to the demand with Ethereum as it is such a popular 2nd generation crypto currency. They generally offer daily payouts to the user which you can feed into your ethereum wallet on your phone or however you choose to store it.

Good article but only half written. It does a great job explaining the key inputs into the analysis of profitability but it did not actually follow through with any such analysis! It just says at the end “yes it’s profitable but switch to monero after PoS” no basis to justify the claims of profitability.
Early Bitcoin client versions allowed users to use their CPUs to mine. The advent of GPU mining made CPU mining financially unwise as the hashrate of the network grew to such a degree that the amount of bitcoins produced by CPU mining became lower than the cost of power to operate a CPU. The option was therefore removed from the core Bitcoin client’s user interface.
Block   A block is a unit of the code the comprises the bockchain. It is the record of transactions that have occurred since the last block was created and a confirmation to previous transactions. Each block links to the block before it, thus creating a full chain back to the original or “genesis” block.
The idea and inspiration for this article come out since after about a month ago I started to invest both in cloud mining and building my very own GPU mining rig. I decided to compare – what’s more profitable – doing all by yourself or just throwing money into cloud mining contracts.
The main part of the mining hardware is the graphics processing unit (GPU). Here is a link to a site that allows you to compare the different GPUs – http://www.mininghwcomparison.com/list/index.php?brand=both . Type “Ethereum” in the filter.
Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are designed to be difficult to mine with the passage of time as more and more units are mined. With increasing difficulty in mining and the need for better hardware, a lot of people can come together to mine. This collection of people is known as a mining pool.
1x RAM (System Memory) –  4 GB RAM – You don’t need a lot of system memory to mine ethereum effectively. 4GB is about as small as a stick of RAM comes these days, so I recommend just picking up a cheap one as long as it is DDR 4 desktop memory.
In a word, your mining rig needs to solve a mathematical algorithm to mine Ethereum. The mining difficulty of the network is a measurement of how difficult this algorithm is to solve. The higher the difficulty, the less Ethereum you receive for each unit of energy the GPU on your mining rig expends. As more miners join the network – the difficulty increases.
– Our mining plan at HashFlare has 25 MH/s mining power and gives us 2.5 US$ daily (ETH price stands at 1100$ and there are no maintenance or electricity fees). Currently, you pay for the same contract 550$. If Ether price and difficulty stay the same, payback time for this cloud mining plan is less than 7 months. As a contract lasts a year, you are 5 months in profit.
Parentally in earth mining and ore mining in South Holland and South Africa under the name of WAY TO WEALTH. As the technology is evolving, we can focus the apulent or haughty future of crypto mining. We are pursuaded to incline our prospective worth to cloud mining.
If there are any questions on how to get your rig up and running – or any part of the process – just drop us a line at the bottom of the article – our resident mining guru will help you out. You can also post in our Ether Forum and one of our community should be able to help you out! Also if we’ve got something wrong or it can be explained better let us know!
The ideal GPU when it comes to mining Ethereum is one which offers the highest hash-rate at the lowest power. Currently there are GPUs which provide hash-rates up to 46MH/s at the upper end and at the lower end there are GPUs which offer a hash-rate of about 24MH/s. There are many others which offer a lower hash-rate but they are quite slow and would take a long time to generate Ethereum.
I really like Genesis Mining, they have excellent customer service and they are always thinking of new innovative things for their customers. I recently signed up for the new x11 mining and so far it seems really good. Thank you!
With the current saturation of miners and the stated plans to switch the network to a proof-of-stake system, I would avoid mining Ethereum at this time. There are several other coins available for mining, like Monero, that may be a better choice for you depending on your goals.
Hi Elmer, unless you are using the six pin connector on a discrete card, it will pull wattage from the PCIe slot — and you will overdraw if you use more than one RX 460. I apologize for not making this clearer.
Frankly speaking, this sounds too good to be true – Ethereum Cloud mining contract from Hashflare would perform just slightly worse than your own existing mining rig. I wouldn’t say this is a red alarm for me, but it still raises some questions – how comes? Is Hashflare legit and so on?
A word on positioning. GPU’s can get hot – especially if you overclock them so be sure to get the best bang for your buck – and to be safe to place your rig in a well ventilated area so it doesn’t overheat.
The testing phase also allows me to get the best of the rig hashrate-wise. As you probably know, the silicon lottery is a thing, which means that every GPU unit has its own unique overclocking and hashing potential. That being said, I’ve build more than a dozen of rigs and all of them end up having roughly the same specifications. The expected fluctuation in power consumption and hashrate is between 3% and 10%, depending on the coin.
