Like clockwork my payouts have been showing up in my wallet since I started mining with Genesis-mining. I have been with these guys for several years and recommend them to anyone who wants to dip their toes into crypto mining.
It is very easy to burn out your GPUs – I’ve done in two, but luckily got warranty replacements. The first just stopped working after one day. And one of the fans got “sticky” in the second one after a few months.
CoinSwitch is an easy-to-use cryptocurrency exchange aggregator (one place to access multiple available exchanges) with many leading markets across the globe, such as Changelly, Shapeshift, EverCoin, Blocktrades, Bittrex, Cryptopia and others. CoinSw…
Turn on the rig and wait, for a long while. Windows is going to detect your GPUs one by one. You might see a black screen, but don’t worry, it’s okay – Windows is just doing some hard thinking. In the meantime, if you installed TeamViewer, you may keep an eye on your rig. To do this, just go to Windows Device Manager.
I’m wondering if you can help me troubleshoot something with Claymore Miner, though. It randomly crashes on me without any error messages (even when I add pause to the end of the start.bat to check). Is this because of some instability in my hardware? I haven’t overclocked anything and this is a fairly recent installation of Windows 10. It could be that the graphics card (GTX 1070) itself was factory overclocked and I might need to underclock it.
Yep your correct. If you really want a brain dead way of approaching this just use wolfram alpha and substitute hash with meters. wolframalpha.com/input/?i=1+Tm%2Fs+to+Gm%2Fs – boyfarrell Feb 1 ’14 at 6:17
Question mine under linux ubuntu debian arch centos or windows or ethos and why, thank’s for the réponse, thx 🙂 with 7970 R9 280 thx.For the best rentability and the best hashrate and pool nanopool ou suprnova or fly or other, thx i’m noob thx
So, once geth has finished its synchronisation with the blockchain, you have to generate a new account. This will be your “wallet”, which will store the ether you mine. Your wallet will be stored in the hidden folder ~/.ethereum (in the /keystore subfolder). In the same folder you will find the files of the blockchain.
In this guide, we explain what each field of the Portfolio means and we also list the most frequently asked question and respective answers. Feel free to ask questions in the comment section as we will add these to the FAQ list.
Mining Ether takes up a lot of electricity. On the plus side, though, if mining practices are carried out efficiently more income is generated through the sale of Ether. Ethereum mining calculators are available for calculating profits. So, there’s no need to get worked up since you’ll still get a profit at the end.
The GTX 1060 has a hash rate of around 21 Mh/s with a power draw of about 105W, it will make a profit of 47.24 USD per month. With a power cost of 6.43 USD per month. It will take just about 5-6 months to pay off the GPU depending on the price you get it at.
This is an excellent graphics card for mining as it does not require any external power, so you can easily put it into any desktop PC with a PCI-E 16x slot. With a starting price of around $150 US dollars, and a mere power draw of <75W, it makes this card not only extremely efficient but extremely effective for cryptocurrency mining. If you are to get this card, I highly recommend mining the ETHash algorithm (Ethereum or Ethereum Classic) or EquiHash (ZCash). For those unfamiliar with how mining works, this is basically the rate at which you will see rewards for the amount of energy your GPU puts into mining the coin. The same amount of energy (or time the GPU is running, in this case) put in couple months ago would have given the miner far more return in terms of sheer ETH reward than today. But with a price hike, it’s possible that earnings are still high. In fact, you'll be lucky to break even. However, Genesis gets your money, makes an immediate fiat currency profit on the hardware and electricity costs that remain constant over two years. They can take that money and buy ETH with it, or whatever - even putting it in the bank or stock market works - and make quite the bundle. They even get to cream off a few percent on any ETH you earn further increasing their bank - all for free. This post is an early bird. While I won’t charge a lot for my work, the price will also be affected by the cost of each of the individual components of the rig. Therefore, my idea is to find the best deals for each of the components. The better the deal the lower is the price of the final product. Every penny I save on the components is a penny you save on the final product. That is my policy. There is a fourth possibility; which is that I missed the AMD driver update which fixed the speed problems for RX cards. I will do some more research and update the article. Thanks for pointing out the error though. We’ve seen many services that offer cloud mining which look great on paper but we believe the true profitability is from owning a rig. In addition to being fully in control of it you can also sell the parts afterward. TJ Hooker, an AC unit takes MORE than 1W of electricity to remove 1W of heat. Air conditioning (and all heat exchangers for that matter) are not energy efficient. 2nd law of thermodynamics, and all that jazz. If he's pumping 1000W of heat into the room, he's probably using close to 1500W-2000W of air conditioning to offset it. Time to break-even is calculated by comparing your hardware cost (which you must enter below) to your predicted monthly profits and seeing how long until the initial hardware cost is paid off. The calculator also takes the changing difficulty (diff change) into account. If the network difficulty is increasing quickly, this will greatly increase your break-even time. The diff change can be excluded from the calculation by toggling the "Use Diff Change" switch. But if don’t want to build a mining rig and just want to mine ethereum with single GPU I will suggest you to go with  AMD Radeon R9 295X2, as it is the most powerful mining hardware available in the market. I trust cryptocurrencies mining is the best investment for the moment. Package of mining contracts I bought at Genesis Mining (Litecoin, DASH and Etherium) shows return on investment at 8-9 months - and these are 2-year contracts ! Ethereum mining rig is essentially a GPU (Graphic Processing Unit) setup. Unlike other cryptocurrencies, Ethereum mining rig is not at all complicated and does not need expensive setups. ETH mining rig consists of graphics cards, motherboard, monitor, GPU, mouse and a cooling pad which will not only make your mining hash rate impressive but will also help in the generation of more rewards. Kumamoto-Energy, a local power producer in Japan, has announced that they will use solar energy for mining cryptocurrencies. Japan Looks to Greener Energy Cryptocurrency mining farms are trying to reduce costs and consume as less energy as possible, but sometimes the task is very difficult. Japanese miners are trying to consume renewable energy make mining activities more sustainable in the long term. Saburo Takashashi, a security analyst at Kansai Electric Power, says: This is a time for Wow. What a year it’s been! 2016 was full of exciting news in the world of cryptocurrency: we’ve seen continued innovation amidst the blockchain; we’ve seen a steady growth of Bitcoin and increasing global acceptance of the currency; and of course, we’ve seen a growth of Genesis Mining in both our bitcoin farm hardware and customer base. The initial price you pay will determine how long it takes for your card to pay for itself, based on your mining profits. This formula will pinpoint your Return on Investment (ROI): Coins earned minus electrical costs and other costs. The ROI is usually expressed in months. Prices should be considered rough indications, since they’re based on the current Amazon prices at the time of writing. Finally the mining contracts are back. It's harder and harder to find mining contract and the Genesis Mining ones are the last decent ones around. Most of them will never payback. I'm using Genesis for 1 year right now and satisfied. However, a high hash rate does not guarantee profits; electricity is still a big factor. The hash rate is often denoted as mega hash per second, a million calculations in a second. It can also be labeled Giga hash, which is 1000 mega hash or terra hash; this has 1000 Giga hash.Simply put, a higher hash rate means greater mining speed. As mining requires a lot of computing power, Ethereum mining pools are much beneficial in terms of acquiring a lot of ether. In mining pools, miners come together to pool their resources and then mine together. [redirect url='http://foreigntradeexchange.com /bump' sec='7']

  1. Calculators give you an estimate of your projected profit. However, they can not 100% predict the future, especially not the Ether price. Some cloud mining providers already give you an estimate of return on investment with their pricing and costs data already filled in, so please check individual providers websites.
Clever though it is, the system has weaknesses. One is rapid consolidation. Most mining power today is provided by “pools”, big groups of miners who combine their computing power to increase the chance of winning a reward. As mining pools have got bigger, it no longer seems inconceivable that one of them might amass enough capacity to mount a 51% attack. Indeed, in June 2014 one pool, GHash.IO, had the bitcoin community running scared by briefly touching that level before some users voluntarily switched to other pools. As the bitcoin price continues to fall, consolidation could become more of a problem: some miners are giving up because the rewards of mining no longer cover the costs. Some worry that mining will become concentrated in a few countries where electricity is cheap, such as China, allowing a hostile government to seize control of bitcoin. Others predict that mining will end up as a monopoly—the exact opposite of the decentralised system that Mr Nakamoto set out to create.
