Here is our formula for working out monthly profit: M – W = P. M is the value of the amount of coins you mine per day, this can be found through sites like coingecko where it will tell you how much your crypto is worth. W is the amount you will be spending on kWh every month. This will then give you P which is your monthly profit. Awesome! I’m going to be making $900 a month, and better yet I’ll be making $10,000+ dollars a year. Sadly, this is a naive projection. If we use another service for mining projections such as MyCryptoBuddy’s Ethereum Mining Calculator (http://www.mycryptobuddy.com/EthereumMiningCalculator) We see that this is a more realistic projection of future profit because it accounts for the increase in difficulty. Using this calculator, with the same hash rate previously stated my return profit drastically changes:

I would say that this site has a pretty consistent overall mining. The only negative I see is that if mining isn’t profitable then your lifetime subscription can be cancelled at anytime. Also I would mine for Altcoins on here as Bitcoin is harder to obtain in a high amount these days.

DAG epoch is 131 right now I did a benchmark with DAG epoch 199 and it gives me almost half hashrate for each card but I think ETH may POS before DAG epoch 199 , plus I don’t have enough experience in trading and long term investments I have to do more researches maybe you are right and I’m just wasting my time and money also valuable electricity power

Hi Kannon, I stumbled across your article and found that it filled in a lot of gaps as I consider building a beginner rig for mining. Do you have any monitor recommendations, something for loading the system, maintenance, etc? I found many options but I’m not familiar with this configuration and worried about spending on something that is not compatible.

While you will still be using your GPUs or ASICs, you have the choice to choose between mining in a pool, or by yourself, hence “solo” mining. Pool mining is where you join with a group of other miners and every miner contributes to mining blocks. The difference between this and solo mining is that your payouts are more consistent. Solo mining is hard, especially if you are running a small rig because you will most likely not find a block for a very long time unless you get very lucky. You can use the Coin Warz calculator to estimate how long it will take you to mine a block by yourself. Another benefit of pool mining is that it’s more consistent. You will get your payments consistently, unlike solo mining where it may take a very long time to get your payout. I recommend the Ethermine.org and Nanopool.org pools, each have a large list of crypto-pools to choose from. You can also check if your rig is online here, as well as how much crypto you have mined.

The Ethereum Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) file is stored in VRAM by miners. The DAG grows in size by remaining proportionate to the mining difficulty. About once every epoch (or 30,000 Ethereum blocks), a new DAG is generated, which must be downloaded in order to continue mining.
What I am writing probably sounds like a project I still have to work on. However, I’ve already got the gear and parts for several rigs. There are some things that should be finished, but I am actually a step away from being ready to accept orders.
