Mining can often be a quite strenuous process that is not error free. So if you are setting up your own miner, it can be useful to interact with some communities in order to get proper guidance. One of my favorite communities is Reddit, and although Reddit has a vast array of sub-communities, or subreddits, there are some for mining. Such as:
According to atozforex.com, this is the second biggest ethereum mining pool. Moreover, it also acts as a mining pool for bitcoin as well. But, the only drawback about this pool is that it is available only to miners from China.
Be wary of the networks increasing difficulty. Even though you may make $10 one day, the next day you may make $9, so you should always be open minded about mining different coins when the time comes.
Install the Software: After choosing your desired mining hardware, the next thing to do is to install the mining software. Make sure that you are connected to the Ethereum network. After installing, your node can now communicate with other nodes.
If you’re thinking about getting into Ethereum mining, you’ve come to the right place.  Finding the best GPU for mining Ethereum can be tough since having high gaming benchmarks and a high price tag doesn’t necessarily mean the graphics card is the best when it comes to mining.
DwarfPool is the third largest Ethereum mining pool. It has about thirteen percent hash rate, and it charges a two percent pool fee. It releases payouts up to five times a day. DwarfPool supports other cryptocurrencies such as Monero, Zcash, Expanse, and Groestlcoin. It has the following features;
Minergate Review: MinerGate is a mining pool created by a group of cryptocoin enthusiasts. It is the first pool which provides service for merged mining. This means that while mining on our pool you can mine different coins simultaniously without decrease of hashrate for major coin.
All transactions in Ethereum (and other cryptocurrencies) are encapsulated within discrete blocks. These blocks are comparable to the batches of transactions which banks send to each other, except in Ethereum occur every 15 seconds (on average). Blocks are identified by their “height,” starting from 0 and incrementing sequentially until the current block.
This course pack starts by discussing the origins and importance of the crypto currency markets and reviews basic concepts every trader needs to know. Next, the this course moves on to discuss human psychology and how individual and group interaction is played out in the Crypto markets, and more importantly, how to use this to your advantage. We then move on to review key indicators used to trade Cryptos and introduce several methods for trade analysis. All of this knowledge is then incorporated in a section guiding you through the complete execution process: how and why we make trades. Lastly, the course reviews several key tools, websites and research applications that will guide you through your career as a successful trader.
This top is fairly thin as AMD options are either impossible to find in stock at this time, or come with artificially inflated prices that make them unprofitable. The RX480 and RX580 families have hash rates between 250 and 300 MH/s, which is not that impressive given their scarce availability. Similar hash rates can be achieved by NVIDIA’s GTX 1060 models, which tend to cost less, are widely available and are less power hungry, so it turns out that, overall, ZEC mining is a win for the green side.
[…] Generally, the best GPU for mining Ethereum should be one which requires the lowest possible power usage, to produce high hash rate (performance per watts). One can use a gaming graphic card to mine Ethereum, if it is powerful enough, nonetheless, a powerful GPU does not mean a better GPU. When Ethereum mining is involved, profitability is very vital, most powerful GPUs consume a lot of electricity and give less profit. Related reading, see: (10 BEST ETHEREUM MINING POOLS TO JOIN (COMPARISON) […]
Motherboard – ASRock H170 Pro4/D3 Intel H170 S1151/4xDDR3/2xPCIEx16/HDMI/DVI/USB3.0/ATX Motherboard. $145. This motherboard has 2x PCIe 3.0×16 and 3x PCIe 3.0×1, takes socket 1151 Intel 6th generation CPU and dual Channel DDR3/DDR3L 1866(OC) RAM. This motherboard only has 2 PCIe 3.0 x 16 slots which are too close together, so choose a better motherboard if you can.
The name of the chipset manufactured by AMD or Nvidia for each card remains the same (for example RX 480). You’ll notice that various models are available from different Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), which is a company that produces parts and equipment that may be marketed by another manufacturer. AMD Radeon graphics and AMD Wonder products are commonly licensed by OEMs and utilize AMD’s brand to market the product, so you might encounter the MSI Gaming Radeon RX 480.
According to coincentral.com, you can only withdraw from your account when your ethereum balance reaches 1.01 ether. Moreover, in a day, the pool pays its members 6 times in a single day. If you are not using multiple miners or a very strong ethereum mining rig, then this is the right pool for you that has lower payout minimums.
The results for my investments are great. Below you can find a list of it. They have 3–4 different contracts you can choose from right now. You can look at the page of this trader for example. If you were invested in any year avg:
Ethermine is a high-performing ether mining pool and is a direct successor of the ethpool.org. This miner offers the same level of service and efficiency as its predecessor, ethpool.org but makes its payments via the traditional PPLNS mode. In ethermine pays instantly and individual miners on this platform will receive their ether as soon as they attain the set payment threshold.

  1. If you’re interested in mining for ethereum, you need to have a good machine to do it. Ideally, you’ll want to build your rig to be as future proof as possible, so that your rig isn’t going to become obsolete in a few years. Your GPU has to have enough RAM to cache it, so it’s a good idea to use 8GB cards.
    New to mining. I currently have 6 msi RX580’s stable at 29.6 MH/s on claymore. In the pool I was in I don’t think I’d ever get paid dponing 177 MH/s. On nicehash i can’t figure out how to set it up so I’m only mining ETH and my MH/s is only 22.3. Any help would be appreciated.
    Ethpool and Ethermine operate with two separate websites, but contribute to the same mining pool; it is probably a merger. This pool accounts for about 25% of all the hash rate power on the Ethereum network. It can be regarded as the biggest mining pool for this cryptocurrency, and they charge an amazingly low fee of only 1% of the miners’ reward.
    Looks awesome right?  A mining rig is made up the same components that go into normal desktop computer.  But there are a few differences.  In a normal desktop computer, you kind of have a good balance between CPU, RAM, GPU, and HD.  With gaming computers, you have higher clocked versions of CPU, loads of RAM, one or two GPUs and SDDs.
