I am very satisfied and have more trust and faith in your mining. I just want to buy more hash, but I am very upset because I have not been able to continue to accept the card. As a result of my study, my card is normal. I’d appreciate it if you could explain why each time you refuse to accept an add-on card.
Also, the rigs are located in the mountain area east of Albuquerque thus it is cooler then here in the city. It is about 1000 feet higher in elevation (almost 7000 feet) then the city. I don’t know if this helps but i am going to ask my friend more about this.
Another benefit is that in case the currency you are mining drops in value, you can easily swap to another coin and regain your profits that way. Take Ethereum for example. One year ago and with a small mining operation, it was very easy to mine 1 or 2 Ethers a day, while at the time it was only worth a couple of dollars. If you kept it today, you could sell each Ether for $330 USD, making your investment very worthwhile.
However, these calculators may not consider all the factors that affect the profitability of ETH mining. That is why if you use a number of calculators you end up with different figures. This article will look at the details that matter when you calculate the costs, revenue, and profits in ETH mining.
Profits for miners have steadied out over the last few weeks since the price of ETH doubled. As of this writing, a 150 Mh/s 6 GPU mining rig consuming roughly 1,000W of electricity at a rate of $0.1 per KW/h is turning almost .13 ETH per week, which is far less ETH than could be earned earlier this year, but still a non-negligible profit of as much as $350 per month at current prices.
Although, Radeon RX 480 may not compete with earlier versions of Graphic Processing Units of Ethereum mining in terms of hash power ratings, it enjoys excellent popularity due to its impressive economy. Radeon RX 480 offers outstanding power economy to compensate its lower hash power of 25 MH/s. The cost efficiency of Radeon RX 480 is higher than aforementioned GPUs for Ethereum mining and consumes just about 150 Watts. As far as the RAM is concerned Radeon RX 480 is packed with 8GB GDDR5 RAM. Total cost of Radeon RX 480 delivers excellent economy as compared with majority of Graphic Processing Units for Ethereum mining.
You can donwload EthOs which is a specifically designed APP for Ethereum Mining – you can read more about this here but its a great way of having a bespoke mining system for your rigs and GPU’s to manage them!
In the early days of GPU mining, AMD cards were the clear winners, in terms of performance. More recent Nvidia cards (such as the Titan range) match or even exceed the performance of AMD cards. Mining performance for certain coins may be better or worse, depending on the manufacturer.
After you calculate the amount of kWh you will be using every month, multiply the kWh per month by the amount you pay for electricity in your country, and then you will find out the cost. Take your monthly power cost away from the value of the amount of the currency you mine to find your monthly profits. Though most mining calculators include this calculation for you, it can be very useful to find the exact amount you will be spending on power.
Good article but only half written. It does a great job explaining the inputs into the analysis of profitability but it did not actually follow through with any such analysis! It just says at the end “yes it’s profitable but switch to monero after PoS” with no basis to justify the claims of profitability.
I think the whole sign up process could be improved and made even easier.Think of your older and not so Tec savy customers. They are the ones with some money. It’s not easy to find your progress, you have to dig for it. It’s not easy to log out you have to dig for that to. I would physically like to see my costumizable personal miner at work if I want to. In a graphic way of course. The contract I bought was not clearly labeled for two years. I’m doing my mining from a phone app and I’m not very good with it but I did get through the process so I give your team a thumbs up.
GPU stands for Graphic Processing Unit. Most high end machines come with high-end GPUs these days. Basically this is a dedicated processor in your computer which handles graphics processing, thereby taking the load off your CPU which will perform actual computational tasks while the GPU takes care of the graphics.
