The answer is Difficulty. By automatically adjusting the computational difficulty of solving a block, the Ethereum blockchain is able to maintain ~15 second intervals. You’ll notice Difficulty closely tracks hashrate and it too has seen exponential growth this year:
Every ten minutes or so mining computers collect a few hundred pending bitcoin transactions (a “block”) and turn them into a mathematical puzzle. The first miner to find the solution announces it to others on the network. The other miners then check whether the sender of the funds has the right to spend the money, and whether the solution to the puzzle is correct. If enough of them grant their approval, the block is cryptographically added to the ledger and the miners move on to the next set of transactions (hence the term “blockchain”). The miner who found the solution gets 25 bitcoins as a reward, but only after another 99 blocks have been added to the ledger. All this gives miners an incentive to participate in the system and validate transactions. Forcing miners to solve puzzles in order to add to the ledger provides protection: to double-spend a bitcoin, digital bank-robbers would need to rewrite the blockchain, and to do that they would have to control more than half of the network’s puzzle-solving capacity. Such a “51% attack” would be prohibitively expensive: bitcoin miners now have 13,000 times more combined number-crunching power than the world’s 500 biggest supercomputers.
You say the Vega 64 does 41 MH/s on 135 watts – but 2 – GTX 1060s can do 46 MH/s on 140 watts and costs less…. so not sure about ‘dominating’ the competition. They are definitely a worthy option, especially if you have limited GPU slots on your motherboard.
Bluemining.net Cloud Mining Allows Anyone to Join the Growing Ethereum Mining Industry. Bluemining.net is an organization of skilled professionals from different fields who commonly believe in future of cryptocurrencies. Headed and founded in 2017 by Chief Executive Officer, Jordy Satoor de Rootas, leads a team of experienced cloud and crypto mining engineers, analyst, and developers, who are committed to transforming the use and delivery of cryptocurrencies from Europe to the globe.
Each mining rig operates at a different level of efficiency and uses a variable amount of electricity. On the low end, miners typically draw ~100 W at their maximum load, but this can increase up to over 1000 W with more powerful and less efficient miners. With the amount of mining variation, you’ll want to calculate your power cost per day and compare that to the estimated return per day when picking out a miner.
Drill holes in your brace so that you can secure it with cable ties (see image). Do not simply rest the brace on the crate! An accidental bump can cause it to fall into the crate, along with ~$1000 worth of GPUs if you do that!
“Cloud mining is a profitable pursuit if you know what you are doing. While many cloud-mining services provide different mining options, not all of them are the best choice, obviously. The market of mining is very dynamic in general, so you should most probably learn something in the Internet about different options before making a considerable investment. Usually people tend to ignore open information like mining difficulty growth or currency value changes and they get very frustrated once mining becomes less profitable.”
Even so, you can still use these calculators by thinking clearly about the costs involved. Profitability calculators (for example, The Genesis Block) often ask for your electricity costs, and sometimes the initial investment in hardware. Effectively, you are being asked for your ongoing costs and your one-off investments.
There are no dedicated ASICs available in the market till now for mining Ethereum. At the same time, since Ethereum intends to make a conscious switch from Proof-of-Work to Proof-of-Stake, purchasing an ASIC device may not be a smart choice at the moment. Under the POW network, miners essentially verify transactions on the Ether blockchain and are granted Ether as a reward. Under the POS system, this authentication method will be run by individuals who possess Ether in accord with the amount you own. It is unclear as to when the transition to the POS algorithm will take place. However, it seems like the inevitable culmination of the Ethereum platform. In case you have already bought a mining rig, you can mine other cryptocurrencies like Monero and Zcash with it.
It’s only been a short while but everything seems to be going well. I really like how you are able to allocate different percentages for the specific coins you want mined! When are the lifetime contracts coming back?!? I really want to get one of those!

My personal recommendation is to keep full of your wallets and not in the exchanges since exchanges can be hacked and you run the risk of losing your coins forever. You should also keep your coins in an offline storage for maximum security. A useful multi-wallet application which I recommend is the Jaxx Blockchain Wallet. You can store many different types of coins here including popular ones such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. This wallet also gives you full control of your private keys in case you want to move your wallet out of Jaxx. The Jaxx wallet also has mobile apps which allows you to take your cryptos with you anywhere. The Ledger Nano S is another useful multi-wallet, however it is a hardware wallet, so you will have to spend an extra portion of your budget on this. Though it does payoff with it’s increased security.
The takeaway here is that hashrate has followed (with some appreciable lag) the ETH price explosion, which began in late January 2016, saw some downturn in late 2016, but then exploded again in Q2 2017.  What an amazing bull run! Up to almost $400 USD from just $10 USD in a few short months.
The mining demand has driven prices well above their normal retail price. That said, the card achieves a hashrate similar to the GTX 1079 Ti and 1080 models. And it’s a fraction of the price and lower power consumption, at least compared to the 1080. However, you must keep in mind that this older technology will have a lower resale value than these Nvidia models (once it’s no longer suitable for mining).
“Thanks to CoinMiner I’m the proud owner of a 240Mh/s beast. It’s making money and a quick, secure return on investment with massive potential for increases. I love mining and am considering starting a mining farm.”

We have our own proprietary cooling system, a product of our R&D that cuts cooling costs down by 80% from traditional airco solutions, while keeping the servers at low temperatures to ensure the longevity of the GPUs.
The rest of the computer doesn’t matter much. In general, you want a case that can adequately cool either an RX 460 or RX 470 — but GPUs include their own cooling mechanism. The basic idea behind a case is that it shouldn’t impede the GPU’s ability to cool itself. Some people even choose to do open air builds. An extreme few daisy chain together multiple 470 GPUs on Ikea storage shelves!
It’s also never too late to start mining. New cryptocurrencies are created everyday, so in the future, if the top currency’s difficulty is too high, you can always choose a different currency. But if it does come to the point where you can’t mine enough currency to pay back your power bill, you can always sell your rig and make most your money back that way.
Due to the massive demand for Ethereum mining rigs you’ll see cards sold out at most retailers (Nvidia has even put out a statement about it). If you’re willing to pay a premium you can find them at a higher cost but we recommend finding the cards for their retail price. The GeForce 1070 is easier to find from our research.
The Mist package contains the Ethereum wallet which you’ll need to receive any mining profits. Mist also includes an Ethereum browser with various functions, such as messaging and a social network and tutorials. As a tip, these tutorials and the social network are helpful learning resources. Don’t be scared to ask the Ethereals if you’re experience difficulty with any part of this process.

There are limited options for Ether cloud mining contracts. If nothing on the list below meets your needs, you can buy Bitcoin cloud mining contracts (listed above) and simply convert the bitcoins you earn to ether.
I haven’t designed a system in a few years but the physics and principles don’t change, just the products. To design a full system, all that is needed after figuring out the insolation hours for your spot is how much energy per day on average you want the system to cover. Since solar can last 25+ years (solar panel warrantees and inverters have 25 year warrantees), i would add aging factors to the equation to get a system that should produce well for 20 years at least (prob not needed for mining though honestly).
This is the projected mining profitability of the Radeon R9 295 X2. As you can see, you’ll make over $1000 USD annually per card. This means you’ll break even in less than a year and generate passive income.
with my rig, I invested 2500$ for 10x GTX 1060 and I’m making around 24$ / day with the current value of ETN. It took me 3 months to be break even so whatever you hear, yes it’s profitable but nobody know how long it is going to be profitable. Mining cryptocurrency is bet for the future.
A powerful alternative to the R9 295X2, the Radeon HD 7990 has a hash rate of 36 MH/s. It consumes 300 W at max load. This means you’ll save money on power consumption. You’ll make over $700 USD annually per card!
payments are in time and support team are responsive. But why it’s a 1 year contract in the title, what I bought is a two year contract. If it’s only one year, then the risk return profile will be totally changed…
Pool fees are usually pegged as a percentage and you have to foot the payout costs, which will be deducted from your earnings. While mining from a pool is advantageous if you don’t have the heavy mining hardware, the rewards and the pay you get might not be equal to what you’d have received if you mined solo. Some pools may pay you, plus all rewards while in others you might not get paid for uncles.
The same thing applies to Ethereum. The only way to utilize Ethereum is with the product from mining. However, mining Ethereum means more than increasing the volume of Ether in circulation. It is also necessary for securing the Ethereum network as it creates, verifies, publishes, and propagates blocks in the blockchain.

  1. Now save your file as Batch file with the bat extension.  Choose File > Save As and then in the box, choose a name for it and then type “.bat” after the name, and in the Save as type box, make sure you select “All Files”, and then click Save.  Congrats, you now have a batch file ready to mine!  Create a shortcut for the new Bat file and send it to your desktop.  You can then delete the text file version of the file.
CoinWarz credits Genesis Mining for making their new calculator possible. In a partnership with the company, Genesis Mining “helped and sponsored development” of the Ether mining profitability calculator. Genesis was one of the first companies to offer Ether cloud mining projects, and CoinWarz says the firm has “worked to publicize Ethereum to the mainstream public and offer services that are invaluable to its users.”
Another risk, though small, is that if you decide to mine on the ETHash algorithm you have to make sure you have enough VRAM (Video Random Access Memory) on the graphics card, as the networks DAG (Directed Acrylic Graph) will be stored on the VRAM. So if you do not have a large enough VRAM size on your GPU you will not be able to mine that coin. At the moment, Ethereum’s DAG file size is 2.1 GB meaning that you will have to mine on a card with more than 2 GBs of VRAM. You can check the DAG size for some popular coins using this website.
