“ethereum mining for beginners”

The same thing applies to Ethereum. The only way to utilize Ethereum is with the product from mining. However, mining Ethereum means more than increasing the volume of Ether in circulation. It is also necessary for securing the Ethereum network as it creates, verifies, publishes, and propagates blocks in the blockchain.
Miners expend electricity hashing that block with the processing power of their GPU(s). A successful hash result produces produce a unique Proof of Work (PoW) proving that the miner worked on that block.
80 PLUS certificate tells you how much extra power the PSU will draw to power your components. Let’s say you have 8 GPU’s and they use with your motherboard and other parts exact 1000W (let’s say it’s 50% PSU load).  80+ Platinum will use 1060W total (it will lose 60W extra), 80+ Gold will use 1080W, 80+ Silver will use  1100W, 80+ Bronze will use 1120W and a PSU without certificate will use 1150W or more. The power draw of each PC part is the same, the only thing that changes is the extra power the PSU needs to power your rig (in our example our PC will always use 1000W but the PSU needs extra to generate that flow). PSU maximum efficiency is stated in it’s manula, mostly it’s 50-80% of it’s load, the ones I used in this example. At higher PSU loads the efficiency drops by addiitonal 2-4%. Higher grade certificate is expensive and most of them have 5-10 years warranty. It’s very important to get top grade and high quality PSU with long warranty because that reduces the RISK (PSU went trough a lot of testings, that’s why they are expensive), and if you already spend so much on your Mining Rig, there is no point to save some small $ on a very important component, and you will save power in a longer run that will increase your ROI.
BTC can be easily sold for cash so, indirectly, mining ETH can be a good way to fill up your bank account or earn cash. ETH can also be sold directly on several major exchanges, such as Bitfinex, BTC-e, Kraken, Gemini and Coinbase.
Stratum address and port number to connect to.”Stratum” is a coin mining protocol, but you can just think of it as a type of internet address you will connect to which provides a channel for sending and receiving the mining work.

Every developer seeking to engage and make use of smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain needs Ether to proceed. It is popularly called the fuel that runs Ethereum. It is a less expensive way of running transactions on the network when compared to buying Ether. You can also decide to sell your Ether after mining.
What to Mine is a fantastic, relatively new website that is great for finding out what coins are the best to mine “right now”. The purpose of this step is to see what sort of competition you are up against, and what sort of rewards you can anticipate in the short term.
Hashrate is the only value you need to input to use this calculator, we do the rest of the work for you! Hashrate is the speed which you are mining, and is normally clearly displayed by your mining software or in the specifications for mining hardware. Make sure that you have the correct hashrate suffix selected. For example, if your miner reports 600 GH/s, ensure that GH/s is selected and not TH/s.
Before you begin, remember that the actual amount of hard cash you’ll make from doing this will vary depending on the mining difficulty, the fluctuating price of Ether and how powerful your hardware is. MinerGate has a built-in benchmarking tool to give you a rough idea how much you stand to make per year, although this doesn’t take into account the electricity used by your machine.
After hitting the enter button in Step 5, you will be asked to enter a password. N.B. You will not be able to see what you are typing in, so type it carefully. This is the password that locks your account and keeps your Private key safe.
This is necessary in order to adjust for the value of the coins you will be receiving from mining. The coin value changes DRASTICALLY on any given day, so this single input can swing the mining profits significantly.
Well lot of information in this article. I also want to start ethereum mining can any one suggest me good graphics card and also I google it and found this site http://www.thecryptomining.info/2017/03/best-hardware-for-ethereum-mining.html can i use these graphics card at that moment.
That’s a rather hard question to answer. I have no idea what the robot is doing…how much it risks per trade, how often it trades, how much leverage it utilizes, what the risk/reward ratio of the trades is like. If you can provide more details on how the robot functions then it would be possible to give a better answer. But everyone/everything trades different, so who knows. What are the parameters of the robot?
The aim of forex trading is simple. Just like any other form of speculation, you want to buy a currency at one price and sell it at higher price (or sell a currency at one price and buy it at a lower price) in order to make a profit. Some confusion can arise as the price of one currency is always, of course, determined in another currency. For instance, the price of one British pound could be measured as, say, two US dollars, if the exchange rate between GBP and USD is 2 exactly. In forex trading terms this value for the British pound would be represented as a price of 2.0000 for the forex pair GBP/USD. Currencies are grouped into pairs to show the exchange rate between the two currencies; in other words, the price of the first currency in the second currency. Some commonly traded forex pairs (known as ‘major’ pairs) are EUR/USD, USD/JPY and EUR/GBP, but it is also possible to trade many minor currencies (also known as ‘exotics’) such as the Mexican peso (MXN), the Polish zloty (PLN) or the Norwegian krone (NOK). As these currencies are not so frequently traded the market is less liquid and so the trading spread may be wider.
Once you successfully installed the driver with just one GPU, shut down your PC and plug in all of the other GPU’s. After that, when you turn the PC back on it should automatically detect each of them and it will install the drivers for all of them. Just remember that it will take some time (about 5-10 minutes) for all of the GPU’s to be detected properly. You can open up the Device manager, to see if all  of the GPU’s are listed there. Just turn the PC on and wait 5-10 minutes before doing anything, Windows will do it’s job.
Hey guys, thanks for the fantastic guide. I have a windows 10 system with two nvidia GPUs. One is gtx 960 and the other is gt 710. I am using escavator for mining zcash. I m getting 127 H/s if i use only my gtx 960 GPU. When i added the second GPU, escavator does not read it, ( windows does), still getting 127H/s. How do i increase this? Any ideas pls.
Questrade is a non-market marker trading forex and commodities. While other brokers will trade against your positions to generate a profit, we will never do that. So you can rest easy knowing when you trade with us, we’re truly on your side.
–Liquidity: based on your circumstances you shouldn’t have much of a problem with this, using a 25 pip stop and if you mostly trade the EURUSD. The smaller the stop though, the bigger the potential trade, and not all pairs have the volume the EURUSD. Also, while the forex market may be 5 trillion a day, that is spread out across many many forex pairs, and across thousands of brokers. Unlike the stock market the forex market is not centralized. Globally there may be millions of dollars sitting at the bid and ask prices around the globe, but with Oanada there may only 100,000 or 500,000. Most brokers only get quotes from several banks, not all of them. IF your orders is bigger than that, which is very possible with leverage and very short-term trades, all of a sudden slippage starts occurring…that’s a big deal when trading with a 5 or 6 pip stop. Again, this doesn’t really affect you, but something to be aware of. Liquidity isn’t usually a concern in the sense that you won’t get filled, the concern is whether you end up with the price you expect. THe bigger the trade, the the great the potential for deviation.
ASICs and FPGAs are strongly discouraged by being rendered financially inefficient, which was confirmed in an independent audit. Don’t expect to see them on the market, and if you do, proceed with extreme caution.
During the  mining of ethereum, you will only be using memory of the GPU, that means that the higher quality of the memory is, the better hashrate you can get. While testing all of the memory types, I’ve found out that Samsung and Hynix are a little bit better than Elpida and Micron, but the difference is very subtle.
The part before the -dwal is the same as for the solo ethereum mining described above. The -dwal has the same representation as -ewal, it just is the mining pool of the dual coin. I would recommend to mine ONLY Decred as a dual coin, because it has the highest efficiency of all of them . As described above the Dual coin uses the GPU’s core for mining and not all dual coins give the same results. For RX 5xx cards the best way would be to go with Decred. I use the Supernova decred mining pool. You need to create an account there, and the account name will serve you as a decred mining pool address. This way it gives you one more security improvement, because you don’t show people your address, instead just your account name. On your account you will need to create a worker and give it a name for example: worker1, and leave it’s password as it is (“password”). Now to connect properly to the decred mining pool you would need to put “-dwal supernovaAccountName.supernovaWorkerName”
Now after your GPU’s are at their default settings, we’ll be using OverdriveNtool to handle the overclocking, target the GPU’s temperature and it’s  undervolting. There is no other tool where you can have full control of your GPU and the ability to quickly optimize the GPU’s. You can’t be 100% sure the overclock/undervolt settings are working properly. This is a special software that gives you FULL access to your AMD GPU’s and it’s very easy to use once you know the basics.
Replace “stratum.zcash.nicehash.com:3357” with your pool’s server. and replace “t1RjQjDbPQ9Syp97DHFyzvgZhcjgLTMwhaq” with your zcash wallet address. Optionally, replace “YourWorkerName”. If you want, you can also replace “x” with your password.
The rise of Scrypt ASICs – Dogecoin was initially made using the “Scrypt” algorithm which meant that it couldn’t be mined using the specialised hardware ASIC chips that had been designed to more efficiently mine Bitcoin. However this situation didn’t last very long, and about halfway through 2014, ASICs that could mine Scrypt-based coins started to become widespread. This meant that CPU and GPU miners had compete against the much more energy efficient ASIC miners.
In April 2010, trading in the United Kingdom accounted for 36.7% of the total, making it by far the most important centre for foreign exchange trading in the world. Trading in the United States accounted for 17.9% and Japan accounted for 6.2%.[58]

You’ll also need Ethereum mining software to point your hardware towards your selected pool. And, an Ethereum wallet to receive payouts to. A hardware wallet like the Ledger Nano S would be the best option.

  1. The name of the chipset produced by Nvidia or AMD for each card remains the same (such as RX 480). You’ll notice that various models are available from different Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). For example, you might encounter the MSI Gaming Radeon RX 480.
