Eobot is the easiest, cheapest, and best way to mine ETH. You can mine and hash cryptocurrency with Cloud Mining, or you can use any CPU or GPU for any coin, SHA-256 or Scrypt, any computer, as many computers, and with immediate mining results.
This is the projected mining profitability of the Radeon R9 295 X2. As you can see, you’ll make over $1000 USD annually per card. This means you’ll break even in less than a year and generate passive income.
That would depend on what RX you have as each one as different hashrates for different algos…as I speak the RX 580 would get you $5.58 profit mining Pirl but only $4.41 profit mining Eth, check whattomine to see whats more profitable on that day
In order to avoid this inconsistency, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has proposed the binary prefix which uses kibi [Ki], mebi [Mi], and gibi [Gi] for 1024¹, 1024², and 1024³ respectively.
OK, so that sounds like a pretty serious error, the card is halting its mining operation for some reason. It could be overheating or experiencing some other kind of hardware or software error. Can you find the log file? Reading it would probably reveal why the card is giving problems. I believe adding the “-dbg 1” switch will create a log file which will help for troubleshooting.
As of the end of March 2016, these 3 Chinese companies control over 65% of Bitcoins mined. Ant Pool is owned by Bitmain Technologies Ltd which is headquartered in Beijing, China. F2Pool and BTCC also have their roots in China.
And so we begin. Today we have spent almost all the day searching and shopping for tools and other things needed to start. We’ve obtained two doors, one to the office and the other one to the rig hosting / testing phase room. Next in our list was wire and cable, plasterboards to build the office walls, an automatic screwdriver, screws, plaster bags and some other things.
When a currency (Ethereum) is resistant to ASIC mining, the average person can afford to buy a GPU if they don’t already have one. This allows everyone to verify the network instead of a select few with lots of power.
Interesting read. Unfortunately for me, I don’t have the luxury of hanging to test products (for free, especially)… then again I don’t have anything to test, beyond what I grab for my own use. I’ve got old hardware, but only one GPU with more than a Gig of RAM and I need that for my everyday driver.
That tells you the ratio of hashes per block of ETH mined. Note how since Jan 1st 2017 to now it has gone up from about 80 TH to almost 800 TH (terra hashes). So the amount of ETH per MH/s your contract gets you has gone down by 10x in that regard. I’ve seen some data that say difficulty is currently increasing around 2.2% per day [6] so at the end of a 30-day period your yield per day is down to around 50% of what it before and your total for the month is about 60% of what it would be if yield stayed constant.
The power supply is extremely important—don’t skimp on it! A good, efficient PSU will keep your electricity costs to a minimum and more than pay for itself over the long run. Seasonic, EVGA, and Corsair are all generally top brand choices. The 1200W unit that I’ve linked may seem like overkill, but power supplies are most efficient when they’re not running near their rated maximum load. A 6 GPU rig will draw about 750 watts (assuming 6x RX 570 cards, properly optimized), which means a 1200W PSU will have sufficient headroom to perform efficiently.
The Radeon RX 470 was among one of the first graphic cards crafted specifically for the purpose of mining Ethereum. This graphic card is marginally different from the aforementioned RX 480. The biggest difference between the two being that the RX 480 was a gaming graphic card which became popular among cryptocurrency miners due to its powerful processing and good hash-rates. However, the RX 470 was specifically made for the miners.

When you have ether you are not yet home and dry. The value of ether is dependent on its current rate against the dollar. Whether you’ll hold the ETH or convert it to bitcoins or dollars will affect the profit or loss margins you make.
This guide will take a complete beginner through the various steps involved in building a DIY power-efficient ~150 MH/sec ethereum mining computer. Based on my popular litecoin mining guide from 2013, this new guide has been updated with current (2017) top hardware choices, best mining software, and detailed configuration instructions for both modern Linux and Windows operating systems.
Generally, any motherboard with PCIe slots on it is suitable for mining—typically one GPU per PCIe slot. The PCIe slots don’t need to be full-length, as we can attach GPUs to 1x slots with the help of risers. With that said, there are potentially some limitations when you start to pack a large number (4+) of GPUs onto one motherboard, even if that board has enough PCIe slots to physically accommodate them. That’s why picking a suitable motherboard is probably your biggest hardware headache if you want to run as many GPUs as possible in your rig.
FPGA   Field Programmable Gate Array, an FPGA is the former king of the Bitcoin mining world. An FPGA is an integrated circuit whos function can be changed as it can be reprogrammed. This makes if more versatile than an ASIC, but far less efficient in its ability. They enjoyed a short time between GPUs and ASICs as the most efficient way to mine. Like all crypto currencies, the future of Ethereum remains uncertain, but the tone of the conversation surrounding Ethereum is different than almost any other crypto currency. Discussing the excitement, Genesis Mining’s CEO Marco Streng stated, “We believe it is headed to the moon and we are building a rocket ship to make sure our customers do not miss out”.
You could instead just choose to invest all that money into your desired cryptocurrency to start with, in which case you would derive profits without the operational headache of running mining equipment.
If there are any questions on how to get your rig up and running – or any part of the process – just drop us a line at the bottom of the article – our resident mining guru will help you out. You can also post in our Ether Forum and one of our community should be able to help you out! Also if we’ve got something wrong or it can be explained better let us know!
Due to the massive demand for Ethereum mining rigs you’ll see cards sold out at most retailers (Nvidia has even put out a statement about it). If you’re willing to pay a premium you can find them at a higher cost but we recommend finding the cards for their retail price. The GeForce 1070 is easier to find from our research.

  1. Crypto mining has become a divisive issue. Miners gobble up popular graphics cards by the armful, depleting inventory and driving up prices. Gamers are left to pay exorbitant prices, sometimes as much as double, even for mainstream GPUs. A little animosity between the two camps is therefore understandable.
