So I had listed the 11 best ethereum mining hardware available in the market. Which will you buy to start mining? If you decided then wait I had to find out the best GPU to mine ethereum efficiently to gain more profits.
I am thinking that investing in mining Dash coin at this time is very profitable. I am waiting until the end of the month to know the results, if the result as expected, I will continue to invest more. Thanks Genesis Mining for this service.
Hashing24 is a cloud mining contract provider for individuals who want to get involved in bitcoin mining. The Hashing24 team has been involved in a mining business since 2012. Its initial mining power supplier is one of the industry’s leaders – BitFury.
Yes yes and yes. I’m 100% with you here. The issue is if the difficulty currently keeps increasing as it has, there will be no 6 or 8 month ROI it will never come. Unless it really really flattens out it will be infinity ROI for any miner getting in now unless they’re getting their GPU’s for $120/card or so. And yeah we’ve discussed this before and it ultimately comes down to the fact that no one knows the future so it’s all about what you think will happen.
Any others: Do not trust any random names on the internet, bitcoin is a currency that cant be chargeback in anyway and so thieves are out there looking to steal your bitcoins so be prepared and dont invest in every single website you find out there. Some are legit, some scams.
Pro-tips: check out the following GPU’s: AMD Rx 470/480 Rx 570/580, AMD R9 range, HD 7990 / 7950 (if used cards are available, try to get them from a gamer instead of a miner, with a warranty if possible).  For Nvidia, look at the 1060 / 1070 / 1080 series cards.  As with everything, do your own due diligence to evaluate GPU’s based on their hashrate, power requirements, availability and price.
Generally, any motherboard with PCIe slots on it is suitable for mining—typically one GPU per PCIe slot. The PCIe slots don’t need to be full-length, as we can attach GPUs to 1x slots with the help of risers. With that said, there are potentially some limitations when you start to pack a large number (4+) of GPUs onto one motherboard, even if that board has enough PCIe slots to physically accommodate them. That’s why picking a suitable motherboard is probably your biggest hardware headache if you want to run as many GPUs as possible in your rig.
With the current saturation of miners and the stated plans to switch the network to a proof-of-stake system, I would avoid mining Ethereum at this time. There are several other coins available for mining, like Monero, that may be a better choice for you depending on your goals.
I think, you guys so good than others. So, I am comeback to Genesis!!! Why Genesis-mining? There is the backup plan for my favorite coins. And, there is some mining power w/ “none maintenance fees” .And promotion system!!!. Thank you guys. I’ll invest you guys soon.
The top Ethereum mining choice is currently the Radeon RX 570 / RX 580 line*. The RX 570 delivers nearly the same performance as the RX 580 (within 4-7% or so) for a bit less power consumption—they’re essentially equal from an efficiency standpoint. The RX 570 is usually significantly cheaper than the 580, so generally the 570 is the best choice.
This is an excellent graphics card for mining as it does not require any external power, so you can easily put it into any desktop PC with a PCI-E 16x slot. With a starting price of around $150 US dollars, and a mere power draw of <75W, it makes this card not only extremely efficient but extremely effective for cryptocurrency mining. If you are to get this card, I highly recommend mining the ETHash algorithm (Ethereum or Ethereum Classic) or EquiHash (ZCash). People I'm helping setup rigs and such are trying to go full bore right now and are willing to pay these insane prices for cards. They ask me what I think and I just say setup what you have and keep scouring for deals but don't overpay. They won't likely listen to that, but I also don't want to be the person who said no and then somehow this GPU shortage causes difficulty to stall and the price skyrockets on PoS rumors or some weird super profit scenario. miss information. rx 570 – 580 get 22.5 mh/s with stock settings, if you put the correct drivers. correct drivers for the windows are the last one, but you need to change gaming -> compute to go mining. this will increase from 17 to 22.5. then after bios u can get 29-30
That’s how much the difficulty increased over the past month, so it’s not as stupid as you might think. With a fair number of people out there still taking delivery on overpriced mining hardware, it’s not too much of a stretch to think that it might keep going up linearly.
I made this same question in Bitcointalk and a veteran told me “we will talk about another more profitable coin in 1-2 years, guaranteed…”, so we don’t need to worry about it stopping being profitable soon… I asked him/her how s/he can be so confident, and the reply was that it’s because it happened 3 times before. I said that it doesn’t mean it will be the same thing from now on just because of that. He didn’t reply me anymore…
My friends and i mine Ethereum with our rig as well. My friend ran the calculations on a lot of different currencies and he agrees with you that ETH is the best one. I liked your post, gonna follow you now 🙂
Building your own is much cheaper, and (arguably) more fun! If you’re handy, you can put together a simple aluminium frame yourself for a fraction of the cost of buying one. If you don’t have the necessary skills or tools for that, I popularized building mining rigs inside plastic crates back in 2013, and that still works fine today (for up to 4 GPUs or so, anyway). At the bottom of this post, you’ll find instructions on how to build a plastic crate “case”.
Genesis Mining is the only trustworthy, hassle-freeining company in the internet. Luckily, I joined 2 years ago and with bitcoin I got 1000% profit, and growing because of a lifetime contract. I hope to keep on investing with Genesis Mining for several years to come.
This is really overpriced. Buy 4 7990 and get 200 MH/s for around 2600. MB, CPU, HD, PSU, riser cards and built an open air case for around $400. Then if it ever gets to the point mining isn’t profitable sell the cards etc. and save money and make more money than paying $4400 for 100 MH/s…
Crypto mining has become a divisive issue. Miners gobble up popular graphics cards by the armful, depleting inventory and driving up prices. Gamers are left to pay exorbitant prices, sometimes as much as double, even for mainstream GPUs. A little animosity between the two camps is therefore understandable.

Just a hypothetical, but say someone had (legal) remote access to 5,000+ normal desktop computers. If he/she were to install the software on them, could it be profitable? On-board Intel graphics type machines.
IMPORTANT: The following info is taken from the manufacturers and does not into account and custom configuration such as overclocking, undervolting and BIOS modifications. Actual results vary depending on your customization. AMD cards allow for greater customization while Nvidia cards are locked to certain configurations.
Here you can ask the community questions about your mining setup, and about any issues you may be having. Though r/EtherMining is focused on mining Ethereum, they will be happy to help you with general mining questions. The Ethereum Stack Exchange community is another useful one where you can find out about graphics card hashrates as well as ask questions. You can also ask about general Ethereum questions here.

Right now it is quite profitable, but it is better to see the historical comparison between prices and the difficulty. Also take in mind that the cards doesn’t last forever – not that they will brake down but eventually new cards with better hashrate per watt are appearing. So, I would say that we are looking at about taking back the price of hardware in the first year and then start taking profit which will gradually slow down. So if you invest X money in 2-3 years you will make back double the initial investment.
Mining a block is difficult because the SHA-256 hash of a block’s header must be lower than or equal to the target in order for the block to be accepted by the network. This problem can be simplified for explanation purposes: The hash of a block must start with a certain number of zeros. The probability of calculating a hash that starts with many zeros is very low, therefore many attempts must be made. In order to generate a new hash each round, a nonce is incremented. See Proof of work for more information.
Now, let’s do the math for Hashflare ethereum cloud mining contract, with initial $220 investment we could buy exactly 10MH/s mining contract for one year. That’s already 2MH/s less if we would opt to buy GPU card.
I have ZERO computer skills, and I am sorry if this question come across as stupid but I truly don’t have a clue how this all works. Do you happen to have directions for putting this together? Also, when everything is put together do I just turn it on and start mining? I am sure that I will need software to work this but do you know where I can get the software needed to run these? I am so sorry that I am asking noob questions, but I seem to always have more questions that keep popping up.
Even if you lack of patience, try to understand step by step what you are doing. If you do not, it does not really matter as long as you follow the instructions properly. If you have any questions, please contact @angelomilan or @terzim (github.com/terzim).
As the procedure goes, after the public hearing it will move forward. Now every mining centre will want to have an attorney as they have to defend themselves if the market is still important to them. It was reported by the mayor that approximately 10% of the town’s power was consumed for notorious mining activities as of the end of February, 2018. On a personal note, Mr. Read confessed that it’s much better to see such consumption from a hiring company than from all-automatic ones.
McCoinCloud – they offer Ethereum Lifetime Contracts* with weekly payouts. They own two data centers build up especially for the purpose of cryptocurrency mining. And since year 2015 they are offering mining contracts with a guaranteed return on investment.
