Even with your hardware, geth, and Ethminer set up, you’re unlikely to be able to actually mine ether on your own. The reason for this is that your device will simply not be able to compete with the hash rates of much larger systems and networks of miners. For that reason, most ethereum miners join a mining pool. By pooling together computational power, these miners increase their chances of solving block puzzles and thus earning ether. At the same time, the profitability for each individual goes down, as the profits are split proportionally, with those miners able to provide more computing power receiving a greater share.

Hey guys, thanks for the fantastic guide. I have a windows 10 system with two nvidia GPUs. One is gtx 960 and the other is gt 710. I am using escavator for mining zcash. I m getting 127 H/s if i use only my gtx 960 GPU. When i added the second GPU, escavator does not read it, ( windows does), still getting 127H/s. How do i increase this? Any ideas pls.
Before any serious outlay of capital, further research into Ethereum’s prospects is warranted. While GPUs may be set to mining other coins and their costs partially recouped through resale, GPUs depreciate rapidly. is especially true of cards put to the constant, intensive work of mining.
These figures will change based on when you run this analysis, but for purposes of the example here we would net 109 ETH annually. If sold at the current price, $1537 will be earned from which we subtract the electricity cost of $493. This nets a respectable profit of $1045.
80 PLUS certificate tells you how much extra power the PSU will draw to power your components. Let’s say you have 8 GPU’s and they use with your motherboard and other parts exact 1000W (let’s say it’s 50% PSU load).  80+ Platinum will use 1060W total (it will lose 60W extra), 80+ Gold will use 1080W, 80+ Silver will use  1100W, 80+ Bronze will use 1120W and a PSU without certificate will use 1150W or more. The power draw of each PC part is the same, the only thing that changes is the extra power the PSU needs to power your rig (in our example our PC will always use 1000W but the PSU needs extra to generate that flow). PSU maximum efficiency is stated in it’s manula, mostly it’s 50-80% of it’s load, the ones I used in this example. At higher PSU loads the efficiency drops by addiitonal 2-4%. Higher grade certificate is expensive and most of them have 5-10 years warranty. It’s very important to get top grade and high quality PSU with long warranty because that reduces the RISK (PSU went trough a lot of testings, that’s why they are expensive), and if you already spend so much on your Mining Rig, there is no point to save some small $ on a very important component, and you will save power in a longer run that will increase your ROI.

Use a pegged derivative: Ethereum is a great tool for creating complex trading between multiple parties. If you have a source for the price of Bitcoin that all parties trust, then it’s possible to create an ethereum based currency whose value is pegged to the market value of Bitcoin. This means that you could trade bitcoins to a token that is guaranteed to always trade back to the same amount of bitcoins while still being fully compatible with other ethereum contracts.

If you can be clear about what exactly do you mean by RX cards speed problem that would be helpful. And, when you post in 2018 that and RX 580 is getting 18 MH/s and falling fast, what is this information based off of.
Go to your EC2 console in AWS and change the zone to US East (N.Virginia). This zone happens to be the cheapest for the type of instance we’ll be using, and also contains a community AMI that has all the required mining libraries already installed for instant use.
