I am in the peocess of ordering parts for a good 6 card mining rig. What is the best GPU card i can get now that uses the least amount of power? What is your email? Maybe you could send me an updated list for 2018? Or are all the parts still basically the same as your first list? Thank you so much for all this help!!! ?
This means you won’t be able to use a mining rig for other tasks, but it does mean you’ll be getting the very best mining results thanks to the best mining rigs being designed to eke out the maximum return when running.
Need some help with getting my rig to recognize my 5 AMD r390s. Currently have asRocks h81 pro btc, 2x 1000w psu, 4gb RAM, 256gb SSD. All GPUs have power and fans run, but system doesn’t register. Downloaded original bios(as cards were second hand), all drivers are installed. Kinda lost here. All help is greatly appreciated!
A given cryptocurrency that can be mined with the above Mining Algorithm and offered by the Service Provider, and, where applicable, converted from time to time, e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum or other cryptocurrencies.
Fans. Liquid cooling requires more thought as it is the GPUs that require the cooling and you will have to purchase the correct GPU liquid cooling add-on, or purchase a GPU with the liquid cooling built in.
As I mentioned above, you can choose to build your mining rig with a nice custom built case or you can save money and use a plastic storage crate or milk crate.  Both work equally as well except one won’t look nearly as good.
It’s the 2% or worse increase in difficulty every day that kills your chance of making an ETH profit – i.e. more than what you could if you just invested the cost of the miner/contract in fiat currency directly into ETH and held it.
 – You want to get a simple low end CPU and at least 4GB of RAM – Tip: make sure your motherboard, CPU and RAM are compatible (i.e. LGA 1151 motherboards need an 1151 socket CPU, and DDR4 RAM / LGA 1150 motherboards need an 1150 CPU and DDR3 RAM)
Below are the best Nvidia’s mining cards currently available on the market. It’s important to note that we excluded Older Nvidia cards with 4 GBs (or less) of VRAM because their performance was usually bad, and it will only worsen more as epochs advance.
They are all priced the same on a cost per MH basis  – usually you get a discount the more you buy. However this is due to the demand with Ethereum as it is such a popular 2nd generation crypto currency. They generally offer daily payouts to the user which you can into your ethereum wallet on your phone or however you choose to store it.
The goal is to make GPU mining more accessible to the common folks by keeping low and transparent prices. Since I do not do this for a living, it will be easier for me to keep the prices more than competitive.
Do you mine Ethereum for fun? Then the numbers might not mean a lot to you. Though chances are you want to rake in some money from your venture, so the numbers matter to you. There are many ETH mining calculators you can use online and they give valid results.
Nvidia GPU’s:  To get the latest Nvidia GeForce drivers go to https://www.geforce.com/drivers and then enter in your card info and click “Start Search” and then download the current version from the results.
Genesis mining has had many problems since I got my contract at the end of last June. There are many missing mining days in my history. Many missing payout days. I have a balance that needs to be paid out well above the minimum threshold for payout. Their customer service rarely responds. They had some security issues that threw a wrench in the works that they still haven’t fully accounted for. Fortunately with the crazy run up in price in Dec I have made my investment back. But don’t believe the calculators. They do not account for the rise in difficulty levels. When I started I was getting .1 to .09/day now its down to .01/day.
These cards are quite effective when it comes to power consumption and they are long considered the workhorse of GPU mining. The cards from the RX 400 and 500 series feature a really amazing cooling and can boast a performance that ideally matches the initial price, but the time has sadly arrived when the cards from these series must be put out to pasture – at least for Ethereum mining purposes. Yet, you can use an RX 580/570/480/470 only for mining altcoins, but unless you can find them at a good price, you should shun the rip-off prices that sellers often charge for these cards.

It offers a hash-rate of 36 MH/s. The R9 HD 7990 consumes a power of 300W at max load which is one of its benefits when compared to the R9 295X2. The power cost per day of this GPU is $1.03, cost per MH/s is $18.9. The Radeon R9 HD 7990 comes out into the markets with a 6GB GDDR5 RAM.
The good news is that getting started with Ethereum Mining is now easier than ever.  You do not need to download the full Ethereum blockchain, which is now over 20+ GB’s and still growing!  You also do not need to manage clunky command line miners with manual instructions.
3) Mining Rig Case. No need to purchase a specific mining rig for 100’s of $$$. They are nice and well made but a waste of money. Buy a three tier Metal Storage Rack from Walmart for about $30. Good air flow, stable and easy to move. Put your motherboard and power supply’s on the middle shelf, 5 GPUs top shelf and 5 GPUs bottom shelf. Can easily attach everything and shelf is stable yet easy to move. For the GPUs they won’t sit upright themselves, however if you get a dowel from walmart (sold in the craft area) (1/4″???) you can hook each of the GPUs to the dowel using a small binder clip and they will sit perfectly straight and support each other from falling.
Like the concept and ease of website. Not clear as to the difference of the Monero contract vs others you sell as I thought I could allocate my mining across different coins which was a little disappointing. Looking forward to seeing results!
