As of writing this, with ETH priced at $1,316.79 – I would make a profit of $1.56 daily, $10.90 weekly, $46.72 monthly and $568.42 yearly. Let’s stick with the yearly data, power cost per year would be $65.70. Also, I would mine about 0.4864 ETH after one year.
By entering the above details into an Ethereum Mining Calculator, you’ll be presented with a rough guide of your expected profits. While the calculator will automatically enter the current figure for difficulty, keep in mind that difficulty is very likely to rise in the future. Ethereum’s high price lures in more miners!
Building a 6 GPU Ethereum mining rig is a fun project and a great source of passive income. This guide will help you find and assemble the best Ethereum mining hardware currently available to build your very own DIY Ethereum mining rig. Assembly time is about 3 hours and this mining rig is currently generating between $300-500/mo of digital currency depending on the current market price of the coin you are mining (Ethereum, Monero, Zcash, etc).
An uncle is a stale block, usually beat to the blockchain by another block. The Ethereum network compensates miners for these though they receive a lesser reward. As you mine a block, you’ll receive a reward for no more than two uncle blocks included. The pay you receive is for uncles up to six blocks back.
Note, when downloading the Claymore Miner Windows may provide a warning, but if you used Claymore’s download link can you ignore this.  He is a well-respected developer who has been building crypto miners for many years.
Hi guys, Finally i have decided to to invest on dash mining.i am so escited by doing this because dash has great potential. So even if difficulty is growing up just mine it guys. Pick your own dash mining it inside genesis mining.
Miners perform solving of computationally complex problems and are rewarded Ether in return for effort, time and processing power of their computers. Its basically like how you used to play video games and after winning each level, the next level gets unlocked. Similarly, the game here is mathematical puzzles and new levels are blocks in the blockchain.
HashFlare has been involved with cryptocurrencies since the inception of Bitcoin and has years of experience in the field of mining cryptocurrencies. This Estonian company is now also offering Ethereum mining plans with no maintenance fees. Also, the minimum order amount and the hash rate is very low (100 KH/s with the price of 2.2 USD), so you can start with low investment and see how it goes. Use Hashflare discount code 2018 HF17QWL22TR4 for a 4% discount (over 1000$ only).
Here in brazil, the prices are abusive, but the power cost is very low, at least 19 Cents a watt. Total Hashrate of the project, 52MH’s. In the past months, i’ll go for more, buy at least 4x RX480 Custom. Maybe in US, they will cost 230-250US, here, 1400-1700 BRL.
The rig(s) you order will be tested for up to one week before being shipped to you. This is done to make sure that you get the rig in perfect condition. This also allows me to make sure that all hardware is working as intended.
Hello, I did everything but at the end this message appear in the cmd: ETH: Stratum – connecting to ‘eu1.ethermine.org’ port 4444 No pool specified for Decred! M2 to PCI Adapters: $20. You need two adapters for one rig, $10 each. They are made in China and are somewhat problematic. Some batches can be okay while others, every second or third adapter is not working correctly.
Yes, but if you’re getting your profit from the increased market price for the crypto, wouldn’t make more sense to just invest the total amount into the crypto itself? Otherwise you would be spending a good amount for electricity + hardware and would have to reach ROI before actually making money.
I’m very happy with the mining service provided by Genesis Mining. When I signed up I paid via wire transfer and the payment was processed quickly such that mining started as soon as possible. The Web interface is clear an nice and payouts are done swiftly as well. All in all a very nice way to mine some crypto currencies!
They have the option to base operations overseas, in countries where electricity costs are low.You can get a smart deal if the company hedges you against the fluctuations in the market. These companies also guarantee that the system is always online to maximize mining profits.
The Service Provider uses third party services and such third party’s affiliates services which enable the Customer to place monetary deposits and perform transfer of payments within the website of the Service Provider by making use of the Customers existing credit / debit card (as and if available and applicable) (the “ Card Services” and the “ Card Service Provider”). The Card Services do not include any additional service, and such Card Services do not Customers account.
But even on the pragmatic side, cryptographic mining never made much sense to me. The profit margin is often so short-lived that by the time the average tech enthusiast hears about it, the bubble is ripe to burst. Once a mining algorithm moves to application specific integrated circuits (ASICs), it’s impossible to compete otherwise. Even if the crypto currency du jour doesn’t go ASIC, the mining pool can get saturated, and anyone without a quad-GPU farm (or better) may as well be trying to get to the moon with a sliderule (wait, we did that . . .).
They include the ether earned from all blocks (5 ETH) as well as the rewards. Revenues are easier to calculate after mining since you have all the information. However, a close estimate is possible once you know your hash rate. Note that in pool and cloud mining you might miss out on gas and payments for uncles depending on your contract.
The card also excels at mining, reaching 70 MH/s with stock settings. But it increases up to 82 MH/s when it’s pushed to its limits. In the raw hash power stakes, this card puts Nvidia far ahead in the raw hash-power stakes, and beats out AMD’s closest rival, the Radeon RX Vega 64. It only reaches about 45 MH/s and consumes more power.
This guide is going to show you how to build an Ethereum Mining rig yourself which has two main steps – choosing and sourcing your equipment and then putting it together! Depending on times its probably going to take you a week or so to get all the pieces and then another half a day fiddling with configurations etc. Its the same as building your own computer normally but with a few extra considerations that mainly involve which GPU’s you pick.
In the moment it is definitely more profitable. Of course I can´t know what is next year. But if you are calculating with current conditions, Ethereum Cloud Mining is more profitable than buying Ether.
You guys are doing a good job but you need to do something bigger that will help the planet. You need to create a new cryptocurrency based on a verifiable method of carbon dioxide sequestration which is already happening in Iceland! Do it.
I think genesis mining is good professional service i am having a good experience with them. What i like the most is there support they are very quick to reply. No matter what the difficulty rates are these days for mining but it still a good experience when you think of long term .
As more miners join, the rate of block creation increases. As the rate of block generation increases, the difficulty rises to compensate, which has a balancing of effect due to reducing the rate of block-creation. Any blocks released by malicious miners that do not meet the required difficulty target will simply be rejected by the other participants in the network.
It’s comments like this that have me scratching my head. I assume you’re solely talking about ETH mining drying up, considering this is /r/EtherMining, but why make it seem like the end of days is coming? If ETH dries up, yes it would suck, but it would take maybe an hour to download, reconfigure and re-aim your processing power at a different coin.
Hashrate is the only value you need to input to use this calculator, we do the rest of the work for you! Hashrate is the speed which you are mining, and is normally clearly displayed by your mining software or in the specifications for mining hardware. Make sure that you have the correct hashrate suffix selected. For example, if your miner reports 600 GH/s, ensure that GH/s is selected and not TH/s.
Place your brace (1″ PVC pipe is really ideal and won’t flex over time) so that it is sitting above the motherboard, high enough for your GPUs to rest on. Cut the brace so that an inch or two sticks out on either end of the crate.

  1. I’m having the same problem as Majorano. I double checked everything up until this point and I am 95% sure it is all correct. Here is what command prompt is giving me (my .bat file is called Armageddon):
CryptoUniverse was founded 2017 with the goal to revolutionize the mining hardware market. Currently, the main focus lies in the distribution of Bitcoin Mining Hardware from Canaan.io and GPU-Mining Equipment for the European market. Here are some results of mining hashrate per 1 Sapphire Nitro+ RX 470 4gb OC GPU (modded, overclocked) , note that i did not spent more then 2-3 minutes with each miner, so there may be better hashrate results.
