Good luck in enforcing a mining ban. How are they going to differentiate between someone mining vs doing folding or running various other tasks that loads a computer? Especially when so many run a VPN.
Have a question in regards to the CPU, since some coins can be mined via CPU, what would be the consequences to have a good CPU and also mine something with it while the GPU´s also do some mining, then i would get some extra mining power? or am i thinking wrong here?

I would also recommend you buy an SSD as it is a just little bit expensive than HDD. So, you don’t have to buy any 240 GB SSD or; higher 120GB is enough. The only things that will be going on the SSD will be OS, Drivers & mining software.
What i do then, i hook up 1 gpu, install driver, if it fails, i know it’s the riser, if it’s ok, perfect, shut down, hook up the next one, windows will auto install that driver, if it gives you a blue screen, again, riser, if it’s ok, next card.. i know it’s a shitty job but you’ll be 100% sure where the issue is!

If you’ve ever heard of cryptocurrencies, you’ve probably heard of mining. The sole reason most cryptocurrencies can function is due to mining. Without miners, the blockchain can’t be validated every time someone wants to make a transaction. If the blockchain doesn’t get validated, there is simply no way to know which transaction is legitimate and which is not.
They include the ether earned from all blocks (5 ETH) as well as the rewards. Revenues are easier to calculate after mining since you have all the information. However, a close estimate is possible once you know your hash rate. Note that in pool and cloud mining you might miss out on gas and payments for uncles depending on your contract.

The Ethereum mining difficulty had been steadily increasing since July but recently dropped from a high of ~3,000T to ~1,500T. This dip was caused by the Byzantine fork but isn’t as advantageous as it seems. Even though the difficulty decreased, the block reward also decreased from 5 ETH to 3 ETH effectively canceling out any benefit from the difficulty change.
A hash algorithm turns an arbitrarily-large amount of data into a fixed-length hash. The same hash will always result from the same data, but modifying the data by even one bit will completely change the hash. Like all computer data, hashes are large numbers, and are usually written as hexadecimal. BitCoin uses the SHA-256 hash algorithm to generate verifiably “random” numbers in a way that requires a predictable amount of CPU effort. Generating a SHA-256 hash with a value less than the current target solves a block and wins you some coins.

Mining a block is difficult because the SHA-256 hash of a block’s header must be lower than or equal to the target in order for the block to be accepted by the network. This problem can be simplified for explanation purposes: The hash of a block must start with a certain number of zeros. The probability of calculating a hash that starts with many zeros is very low, therefore many attempts must be made. In order to generate a new hash each round, a nonce is incremented. As we have seen with other popular cryptocurrencies such as Zcash, ZenCash, Monero, Dash, Litecoin, and Bitcoin, mining profitability is always directly related with these factors (see our guide on Ethereum mining profitability).
If a card you own or plan on buying did not make this list, that does not mean that’s it’s a bad card by any means. This list is purely based on my opinions, as well as the price of the cards and the raw performance numbers. Though there are other cards which are great for mining, such as GTX 1080 Ti or RX Vega 64 (which I did not include due to their high cost), these cards on the list are just my recommendations. Another option for mining is ASICs. ASICs are devices made specifically for mining, and when compared to graphics cards, ASICs perform much better and have a much lower performance to the power draw ratio. The problem with ASICs are that they can only mine on one algorithm, so when the difficulty goes up, or the price of the coin you are mining goes down, you simply can’t swap to another algorithm, you will have to stay with that algorithm. ASICs are primarily used for SHA-256 (Bitcoin) or SCRYPT (Litecoin) algorithms.
