1) Motherboard. I do not like the Asus B250 Mining Expert. With all of that said, the 8GB versions of the cards tend to have faster-clocked memory than most of the 4GB cards, so if the price difference isn’t too large, spring for whatever is the fastest. Most of the cards fall between 1650 Mhz (6600 Mbps effective) to 2000 Mhz (8000 Mbps effective). The slower 1650 Mhz memory GPUs will hash at 21-23 Mh/s, and the fastest 2000 Mhz ones will do 25-28 Mh/s (both can potentially be pushed higher with BIOS mods and good luck).

Hello, I was wondering if you could help me with a bios modification question. I have a rig running mostly rx470 mining editions, are these cards already maxed out when it comes to tweeking their bios? Im asking becuase i have tryed to tweek them in the past and run into issues and a loss in hash rate…
It’s important to note that purchasing used cards from crypto miners is not recommended, because these cards run 24/7 well below their base spec. Many people are selling their cards that have been damaged due to mining (bad over-clocks for extended period of time damages both the processor and ram on the GPU itself).
GPUs are up to 200 times faster and more effective when it comes to mining Ethereum than compared to mining via CPUs. GPUs with at least 3GB of RAM are recommended for mining. In the past this used to be 2GB but as the difficulty rises you would need more powerful machine. The best GPUs for mining Etheruem currently feature 8GB of Graphic RAM.
Pool fees are usually pegged as a percentage and you have to foot the payout costs, which will be deducted from your earnings.
