“mining rig for ethereum”

One development that will certainly excite miners in 2016 is ethereum mining. Ethereum is the hot new cryptocurrency that has soared nearly 1000% in 3 months, according to the New York Times. Hashflare.io is in the Ethereum game as well.
I have bought the etherium and bit coin for the last two years. I am very excited and am very pleased to see the benefits. I have been informing others a lot and invested a lot of people. If I have a chance, I would like to invest and recommend more.
You need a computer, a GPU, and other accessories depending on the setup. The best GPU integrates a high capability to give you a high hash rate and economy in power consumption. You can also include cables, air conditioning equipment, and a power supply unit (PSU) among your hardware expenses.
This Agreement is entered into for the term as described in Services and cannot be terminated early or canceled otherwise. The Service Provider may terminate this Agreement with immediate effect if the Coins generated in the preceding 60 days do not suffice to pay the Maintenance Fee accumulated during such period.
So the platform itself has general practical value above all other crypto’s and that value grows with broader adoption. The high profitability of mining now is only because the mining infrastructure has not been able to keep pace with the growth in value. The huge Chinese farms that are coming online now are putting a huge dent in the equation though.
Seems that crypto currencies are a hot thing on this blog during this Summer, though it was just recent, not even a month ago, when I decided to diversify my investment portfolio and allocate up to 5% space in it…
Tons of programs exist for you to mine in a pool or solo one of the most popular programs is Claymore’s GPU Miner. We found Claymore’s to be the easiest to use with a mining pool plus great performance results as well.
Bought a 2-year DASH X11 Contract with Genesis about 2 months ago and I am very happy with it. It has already almost paid 50% of the initial cost. Looks like these contracts have sold out now but I would definitely buy again.
Dual Power Supply Adapter: $20. Two adapters for one rig, $10 each. The ones we’ve chosen are with cables. You may also put in a paper clip – that’s free, or, if you use a powerful Chinese PSU (one for all your GPUs), you don’t need these adapters at all.
A lot of average cryptocurrencies users would like to get into the mining economy, but they lack the technical knowledge of setting up specialized machines. Currently, it is also costly to mine Bitcoin as for the competitiveness. As such, cloud mining is far more convenient than operating own crypto mining hardware. The high-quality equipment allows the mining process to achieve maximum efficiency and makes the contract prices affordable. At the current time, forecasts show there is enough time to receive a decent return on investment (RoI) for ETH.
Fans. Liquid cooling requires more thought as it is the GPUs that require the cooling and you will have to purchase the correct GPU liquid cooling add-on, or purchase a GPU with the liquid cooling built in.
As mining requires a lot of computing power, Ethereum mining pools are much beneficial in terms of acquiring a lot of ether. In mining pools, miners come together to pool their resources and then mine together.
There are a few tools out there that will give you your exact solar insolation hours for your area. I’ll post a few links at the bottom of the post. When i designed systems at Affordable Solar Group here in Albuquerque, i would design the systems over the phone so i would use the customer/businesses zip code and basic roof information (really just the pitch of the roof or if it is a flat roof) and the following website:
By accepting these terms, the Customer represents that any and all information the Customer provides to the Service Provider is true and accurate. Any false or fraudulent information and/or use of the Services and/or Card Services rendered to the Customer, is prohibited.
I wanted to experience litecoin mining. I bought the contract to sample the kinds of returns. Its been a great experience so far…hassle free and simple buying process, immediate payouts are some of the great features of litecoin contract. I will update more in due course
Lack of control is the most common complaint, you are never quite sure if the original contract is going to be honored fully. The crypto scene is notorious for runaway developers and the same holds true for other companies. Reputable and better providers do offer peace of mind though, particularly if a long term track record and strong online presence is present. Fine tuning configurations is severely limited in these cases; even mining pool selection is on occasion narrowly defined in advance.
Ameer Rosic uses ‘if this than that’ logic to explain smart contracts. If we create a code online on the blockchain, and someone puts money into the contract, the next action will be executed. This may be a digital contract being sent to somebody’s email, for example. This trigger may execute something else, so on and so on.
A given cryptocurrency that can be mined with the above Mining Algorithm and offered by the Service Provider, and, where applicable, converted from time to time, e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum or other cryptocurrencies.
These cards are quite effective when it comes to power consumption and they are long considered the workhorse of GPU mining. The cards from the RX 400 and 500 series feature a really amazing cooling and can boast a performance that ideally matches the initial price, but the time has sadly arrived when the cards from these series must be put out to pasture – at least for Ethereum mining purposes. Yet, you can use an RX 580/570/480/470 only for mining altcoins, but unless you can find them at a good price, you should shun the rip-off prices that sellers often charge for these cards.
Private Key   This is the part of data that you keep secret in your Bitcoin wallet. Every Bitcoin address has a unique private key attached. Possession of this key is what allows you to maintain control of those bitcoins. If someone else is able to obtain your key, they also have control of your bitcoins.
Though this guide is mainly focused on the Proof of Work (PoW) side of mining, you should be wary of Proof of Stake (PoS), as Ethereum will be swapping over to this method in the near future. The difference between PoW and PoS is that PoS does not require graphics cards, nor does it require a very powerful system at all. PoS relies on you “staking” your coins to the network; the more coins you stake, the higher chance you get of receiving the transaction fees of other Ether investors. Another benefit of PoS is that the computers are not very expensive, nor do they draw lots of power, making PoS a far greener alternative to PoW. There are also no block rewards in PoS, thereby making the transaction fees the only reward.
After looking up the price of hardware and the associated costs of having my own rig, I’ve decided to leave it to the pros. I recommend that everyone read the FAQ so your expectations are better managed. SO FAR SO GOOD!!
Clever though it is, the system has weaknesses. One is rapid consolidation. Most mining power today is provided by “pools”, big groups of miners who combine their computing power to increase the chance of winning a reward. As mining pools have got bigger, it no longer seems inconceivable that one of them might amass enough capacity to mount a 51% attack. Indeed, in June 2014 one pool, GHash.IO, had the bitcoin community running scared by briefly touching that level before some users voluntarily switched to other pools. As the bitcoin price continues to fall, consolidation could become more of a problem: some miners are giving up because the rewards of mining no longer cover the costs. Some worry that mining will become concentrated in a few countries where electricity is cheap, such as China, allowing a hostile government to seize control of bitcoin. Others predict that mining will end up as a monopoly—the exact opposite of the decentralised system that Mr Nakamoto set out to create.
A password will be of you at this stage, and extra care should be taken here. Be sure about your password, write it down if possible and be sure to type it in carefully. Press enter once again after typing in the password and voila! Your new account is created.
The Customer represents and warrants to the Service Provider that he is familiar with mining, cryptocurrencies (e.g. Bitcoin) and that he understands the nature and uses of mining such cryptocurrencies. The Customer acknowledges that it is solely liable for the maintenance of the relevant (i.e. its own) technical equipment (software / hardware) that is required to receive the Service.
Update, 2/5/2018: We have a new article posted detailing CyptoNote (Monero) mining performance with AMD’s Threadripper processor with a CPU-optimized algorithm, alongside a handful of other X86 processors and a powerful GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GPU.
Yes, GTX 1070 or GTX 1070Ti are the best cards that you can buy. They can really mine Ethereum as well as Zcash at a good output. Talking about the power it might use somewhere in between 180W to 200W per GPU.
Sapphire Radeon R9 295X2 is a clear winner in terms of hash tags, since it can deliver amazingly high hash rates to the tune of 46 MH/s. Apart from hashing power, Sapphire Radeon R9 295X2 is also regarded for a sound return on investment and a remarkable RAM of 8GB. However, owing to a huge gap between demand and supply, it is usually in short supply. This is also the reason for its inflated black market price that is almost twice its original price.

If you only want to use 3-4 GPUs in your rig, then you’ll have a much easier time. Most boards with up to four PCIe slots should accommodate a GPU in each. Keep in mind that you can use old hardware that you have sitting around—the board doesn’t have to be recent. I dug out an old ASRock 970 Extreme4 that I used four years ago for litecoin mining, and it still works fine today for up to 4 GPUs (5 possible with some work). So it’s possible to pick up an ancient board on eBay/Craigslist for nearly nothing and mine with less than 6 video cards.
