“ether mining fpga ether mining hardware comparison”

You need a computer, a GPU, and other accessories depending on the setup. The best GPU integrates a high capability to give you a high hash rate and economy in power consumption. You can also include cables, air conditioning equipment, and a power supply unit (PSU) among your hardware expenses.
Oh and one more thing: not all is bad for we PC gamers. Those of us who have previous generation GPUs have enjoyed watching the values of said cards go up. A friend of mine sold his 8GB RX 470 for $320 on eBay last month, or nearly $100 more than he paid for it. I sold my SLI pair of GTX 970s for $420 or about $120 more than they were worth combined a few months ago. We both upgraded to a GTX 1080Ti with the spoils.
Shark Mining has another entry in this list of best mining rigs, this time with its Shark PRO mining rig. Like the Shark mini, this is a well-built device for mining that comes with a range of configuration options. The base model comes with six GTX 1070 cards, but these can be upgraded to GTX 1070 Ti or GTX 1080 Ti GPUs. It’s an expensive rig, but the build quality and potential profit makes it a very tempting choice if serious about mining.
When all three are connected my screen goes all wonky. Nothing really works. When just the two extenders are attached everything works fine. When just the single riser is attached everything works fine. But I can’t get all three to work at once.
Consider this: A 50 percent depreciation rate (in one year) is a favorable rate pegged to a $600 GPU. If you sold your GPUs for $300 a piece, you would make $1,200 from your resale, bringing your overall revenue to $4,116.59. This means your profits are $1,116.59, which is about a 37 percent return.
You say the Vega 64 does 41 MH/s on 135 watts – but 2 – GTX 1060s can do 46 MH/s on 140 watts and costs less…. so not sure about ‘dominating’ the competition. They are definitely a worthy option, especially if you have limited GPU slots on your motherboard.
You probably know that we want each rig to receive its own local IP so we can monitor and manage each rig individually through specialized software. So, in order to do so, a friend of mine visited the office today and helped us with the server configuration and internet access installation, and gave us a hand on security configuration.
Oh, and with Ethereum there is one more fly in the ointment to spoil your mining hopes – if it switches to a proof of stake system this kind of mining will no longer be possible. They mention that in their notes. At that point, they will try to hash anything else that is profitable but you could easily be SOL.
The latest news in the Bitcoin space is one that has been in the making for four years: the Winklevoss’ twins Bitcoin ETF will soon be accepted, or rejected, by the Securities and Exchange Commission (the SEC). This decision will leave ripples in Bitcoin’s history, and it’s the first step to legitimizing Bitcoin’s acceptance with the general public.
Alternate Currencies   There are many different alternative currency that have sprung up based off of the idea and/or basic code of Bitcoin. A few of the more notable ones are litecoin, namecoin, PPCoin, and Ripple. To learn more about these, please visit our alternate currencies page.
The good news is that getting started with Ethereum Mining is now easier than ever.  You do not need to download the full Ethereum blockchain, which is now over 20+ GB’s and still growing!  You also do not need to manage clunky command line miners with manual instructions.
Constant hash power for a fixed two-year price? No hassling with hardware? Easy setup? Start mining instantly? Where do I sign up?! Oh, right here! Did I mention that they have a great support team with prompt responses? Crypto mining doesn’t get any simpler than this. Genesis Mining is a no-brainer.
Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are designed to be difficult to mine with the passage of time as more and more units are mined. With increasing difficulty in mining and the need for better hardware, a lot of people can come together to mine. This collection of people is known as a mining pool.
If there are any questions on how to get your rig up and running – or any part of the process – just drop us a line at the bottom of the article – our resident mining guru will help you out. You can also post in our Ether Forum and one of our community should be able to help you out! Also if we’ve got something wrong or it can be explained better let us know!
The computer industry’s use of kilobyte, megabyte, and gigabyte is inconsistent with the SI. The Joint Electron Device Engineering Council (JEDEC) has redefined the prefixes kilo-, mega- and giga- in correspondence with bit and byte as powers of 1024 instead of 1000. Higher prefixes were not redefined by JEDEC.
Install your GPU Drivers like you normally would (Next, next, Ok, etc.) and reboot.  Afterward, you know your GPU’s are recognized correctly if you go into Device Manager (search in Windows search bar) and you don’t see any warning marks on your GPU’s and it shows them correctly like this:
Another option are dedicated mining cards. These cards are made specifically for miners and offer a hash rate and efficiency bump over their gaming orientated counterparts, without the need for you to do much tweaking (overclocking and undervolting). However, most of these cards do not have display connectors making them useless to gamers. This makes the card worthless for resale, so if something happens to the cryptosphere making crypto worthless, say if some global superpower outlaws Bitcoin and other currencies alike making crypto worthless, you won’t be able to get a penny back from these dedicated cards. If you are confident in the success of cryptocurrency however, and are willing to take the risk, these cards are an excellent option.
The mining demand has driven prices well above their normal retail price. That said, the card achieves a hashrate similar to the GTX 1079 Ti and 1080 models. And it’s a fraction of the price and lower power consumption, at least compared to the 1080. However, you must keep in mind that this older technology will have a lower resale value than these Nvidia models (once it’s no longer suitable for mining).
It is strange, yes. I thought that too. At some point I abandoned the Claymore and started WinMiner just to see in the command prompt that… its using Claymore 9.7 Beta. It connected and started mining from the WinMiner pools. In a few hours I tried again the newest Claymore and it connected to mine ETH.
In a word, your mining rig needs to solve a mathematical algorithm to mine Ethereum. The mining difficulty of the network is a measurement of how difficult this algorithm is to solve. The higher the difficulty, the less Ethereum you receive for each unit of energy the GPU on your mining rig expends. As more miners join the network – the difficulty increases.
Ethereum has a completely different blockchain protocol than Bitcoin. Bitcoin’s blockchain is based on proof of work. Ethereum’s blockchain, although currently is based on proof of work, is soon to become based on proof of stake.
It’s hard for me to tell yet – how legit is HashFlare, they seem pretty legit to me, but I haven’t yet withdrawn any  funds from there yet (well, I’ve been with HashFlare cloud mining just for a month and mining BTC)
The first option is straightforward, if not a bit more expensive. Here is an example of an open-air frame that will accommodate up to 6 GPUs. Here’s another option. You’ll pay a premium going this route, but it’ll save you some time and effort.
The next cost is power cost, though this shouldn’t be an issue unless you are using inefficient graphics cards (cards with a low hash rate and high power draw) and living in a country with high power costs. To find out how much you will spending on power each month, you can use this simple website linked below. Here you can input how many watts your computer will be using, and the website will tell you how many kWh that is per month http://www.rapidtables.com/calc/electric/energy-consumption-calculator.htm
Also take a look at this chart: https://etherscan.io/chart/hashrate [4]. That tells us that hashing has gone up from 5,700GH/s around Jan 1 to 48,000 GH/s which is an almost 10x increase. So now you have 1/10th the chance of discovering the next block compared to just over 6 months ago. Extrapolate this kind of exponential growth forward over 2 years and you should see that the yield is looking nothing like 32 ETH. If you’re making 1.5 ETH a month this month, next month it’ll be maybe 1 ETH (or less) and so on. In 2 years you’ll be making basically nothing per month, definitely not 1.5 ETH. Believe me – I’ve done this with BTC mining and never made a profit.
Building an Ethereum mining rig is a long term investment. Things like power consumption, GPU and price of Ethereum will all affect your bottom line in Ether mining. We recommend checking out an Ethereum mining calculator before starting.
Yes it is profitable is you do it the right way. You’ll need to build a mining rig with high powerful resources to make some amazing profits. if you want to know how much Ethereum mining can be profitable, then read the following article.
Ethereum has taken the cryptocurrency world by storm! Ethereum builds upon the success of Bitcoin while also making a slew of improvements and additions. The most important of these is the addition of Smart Contracts, which can potentially automate many tasks associated with contracts today and can completely remove the middle man from most contracts! Watch the video to the left and check out our article on why Ethereum is poised to overtake Bitcoin!
I prefer using what’s called a picoPSU. A picoPSU generally supplies power somewhere under 200 watts. It also tends to offer higher efficiencies than standard power supplies, at around 80 to 90 percent efficiency. If you’re using an RX 460, you can get away with a picoPSU. The model I recommend is the 160-XT. The XT includes a 4-pin CPU connector.
You are probably aware that Bitcoin cloud mining had a few issues in the past. There were a lot of companies that were deceptive. They pretended to have mining facilities, often taking photos from other providers and claiming them as their own, but in reality, they did not own anything, and they just took your money. Cloud mining providers often disappeared with your Bitcoins (we already lost some money when we tested various cloud mining providers for our readers).
CoinWarz credits Genesis Mining for making their new calculator possible. In a partnership with the company, Genesis Mining “helped and sponsored development” of the Ether mining profitability calculator. Genesis was one of the first companies to offer Ether cloud mining projects, and CoinWarz says the firm has “worked to publicize Ethereum to the mainstream public and offer services that are invaluable to its users.”
NEO is a cryptocurrency that has greatly gained in both popularity and value over the past year. Like most cryptocurrencies, this one runs on a blockchain, but has some key differences from the masses. One of these differences, the use of GAS in the …
