“I think is better to install Linux onto this 60GB SSD and then install Ethminer software rather than installing Windows since space is so limited for that SSD ( Windows 7 or 10 may take almost all of the space).. and this also will give me an option to install another mining software for another crypto-currency later on, rather then installing EthOS…just for Ethereum…What do you think about it?”

it all depend on your Ethereum hashing power the more hashpower you have the more Ethereum you can mine, and it also depends on the price change of Ethereum if the price goes up it becomes more profitable for you. checkout the website on the images below to get started with Ethereum mining.
An Ethereum mining rig is a configuration of two or more Ethereum mining GPUs. In most cases a rig consists of four or more GPUs. Obviously they’re more expensive than one GPU, but they also have far superior hashing power.

I am a lightweight as far as mining goes, however, there is still room to make money on ETH. If you already have hardware, turn it on and let it run. If you don’t have hardware, I can see it being difficult to ROI. A lot depends on price and difficulty, price has been going down as of late, while difficulty has been going up, HOWEVER, its always possible that people quit mining and difficulty goes back down. That is almost a win win. Less competition, that is if you are in it for the long haul, however you have pretty much missed the boat on that.
The scheme is part of wider efforts by Unicef and other UN agencies to find uses for the “blockchain” technology associated with the cryptocurrency – the world’s second largest after the controversial Bitcoin – to revolutionise not only how aid organisations raise money but also to increase transparency in their financial transactions.

Hendrik Lorentz and George Francis FitzGerald offered within the framework of Lorentz ether theory a more elegant solution to how the motion of an absolute aether could be undetectable (length contraction), but if their equations were correct, Albert Einstein’s 1905 special theory of relativity could generate the same mathematics without referring to an aether at all. This led most physicists to conclude that this early modern notion of a luminiferous aether was not a useful concept. Einstein however stated that this consideration was too radical and too anticipatory and that his theory of relativity still needed the presence of a medium with certain properties.
For example, the RX 580’s hashrate has fallen from 23 MH/s (140 epochs) down to 18.5 MH/s (162 epochs). While the RX range is still great for mining other GPU coins, it’s quickly becoming obsolete for Ethereum mining.
In this how-to video, Motherboard contributor Daniel Oberhaus walks you through the step-by-step instructions for building an ethereum mining rig from the ground up. By the end of the tutorial you’ll be well on your way to mining ether and contributing to the maintenance of the ethereum network with your own computing power.
1) A MotherBoard – A motherboard is the brain of the computer and is what you build everything onto – the base of your mining rig. The main feature you are looking for in a motherboard is the number of GPU slots it has as this will determine how many graphics cards or GPU’s it can fit – and in the end your total hashing power. 3 PCI Express slots will mean you can fit 3 x Radeon HD 7950 with a hashrate of 20 MH/s each – or a total hashing power of 60 MH/s. A PCI Express slot is a connection port on the motherboard and looks like the picture below – they are often coloured white but can be beige – you can get other types of slots but most GPU’s work on a PCI express.
“Everyone is really enthusiatic,” he adds, “but we won’t see it really take off until one of the big agencies turns its pilot scheme into full-scale implementation. I think that’s where you will start seeing a large difference.”
on page (2) the first thing it tells me is I need to get the installer which ever that is, I’d rather not install forge and it gives two options forge and non forge, it also mentions something about needing asm 5.2 for 1.12 I’m running 1.12 so I click on it and it takes me to another page (3) I download an install it
@AlBoKa Thats more than half profit. Good thing ether is not as power hungry as other coins. You can downvolt, downclock and still minor decrease on hashing speed. Just find the sweetspot. Happy Mining.
Now that you’ve got your hands dirty, just sit back and watch your zcash roll in! Be aware that you are mining to a transparent address (it starts with t). You can follow this guide to learn how to create a private and transparent wallet.
Sorry I meant to say September 3rd to January 3rd which is exactly 4 months. On September 3rd mining difficulty was 8.355 and on january 4th (exactly 4 months later) it was 8.312. Indicating that in 4 months the difficulty actually went DOWN, not up 40% as you suggest. go see for yourself: http://etherscan.io/charts/difficulty. Now if that was due to a bug, so be it, do you have a blog entry or something where they talk about that?
This card generally retails in the $800 range, but mining demand has driven its price to over $1,000 in some locations. If you’re lucky enough to get free power, then this card could be a great choice.
