‘C:\Users\Username>’ the username placeholder is the name of your computer and is the usual display format by the command terminal. Locating Geth is the next step; type in ‘cd/’ into the command prompt terminal; this is an instruction to change directory. ‘C:\>’ should be highlighted now, which means you are currently in the C: drive.
Upgraded my contract to 17.3450 MH/s. I receive daily payouts which is good – currently it seems my contract will gain a good profit for me. But do not forget: if I had bought some Ether directly the gain would be even bigger! The big benefit of a Cloud Mining contract is for me the minimal risk => you can directly start mining by investing a small amount of money. If you want to know more about my cloud mining experience check out my blog https://imine.blog/.
Well, since I started mining Ether, I went from over 20 ether a day like in Dec 2015 to today it’s saying 5.92, on the same exact setup, actually I have slightly more Hashes because of toying with settings and whatnot along the way. I only experience less Ether week to week. I really wouldn’t advice anyone to jump in now, unless they plan to use the computer as a gaming rig later, most likely in a month or 2 the profits will be back in line with the 2015 crypto mining world, which is not much more than cost for most people.
– Our mining plan at HashFlare has 25 MH/s mining power and gives us 2.5 US$ daily (ETH price stands at 1100$ and there are no maintenance or electricity fees). Currently, you pay for the same contract 550$. If Ether price and difficulty stay the same, payback time for this cloud mining plan is less than 7 months. As a contract lasts a year, you are 5 months in profit.

Let’s see how to choose the right hardware and build a universal mining rig for the Dagger Hashimoto (Ethash) algorithm for such coins as Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Metaverse, Expanse, Musicoin, Pirl, Whale, and an Equihash algorithm Zcash, ZClassic, Zencash, Bitcoin Gold.
In choosing the most efficient GPU the most important thing is striking a balance between how powerful you want your rig to be and how much you are willing to spend on the GPU itself and the electricity.
I have ZERO computer skills, and I am sorry if this question come across as stupid but I truly don’t have a clue how this all works. Do you happen to have directions for putting this together? Also, when everything is put together do I just turn it on and start mining? I am sure that I will need software to work this but do you know where I can get the software needed to run these? I am so sorry that I am asking noob questions, but I seem to always have more questions that keep popping up.
In a blockchain, transactions are added in a block, then the block is closed and added in the chain. After that a new block is open. In order to maintain the consistency over the network, only one miner can close a block in a specified moment. That miner is the one which solves first the hash problem and finds the winning solution. Then it closes the block and signs all transactions, getting the block reward along with all transaction fees.
First Choice Nvidia GTX 1070 –   The very efficient Nvidia GTX 1070  can produce a hash rate of 30Mh/s using only 100 watts of electricity and is the best GPU for mining in 2018. It is much more power efficient than most of the AMD cards available on the market. My favorite model of this GPU is the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Windforce OC (model # GV-N1070WF2OC-8GD). It has a twin fan design and seems to run cooler than some of the other 1070 models I’ve tested, so I put this card in all the rigs I build currently. If that specific model is unavailable, any of the twin fan overclocked Gigabyte or EVGA cards work great out of the box.  You can also check eBay or find other recommended mining GPU’s in my mining GPU comparison guide.
Vediamo quali e come funziona.
Carefully weigh your options, but whichever card you decide on, be prepared to spend a lot of shopping time at the various retailers and resellers. Only if you keep in mind your budget and power costs, you can hope to find that coin at a “fair” price.
Hi Omer, Nope, Bitcoin can only be mined with any kind of profit using ASIC mining hardware. These are specialised devices which can only be used for mining specific algorithms. However, you could use those cards for GPU mineable coins. Like in my answer to Daniel just below, there are sites where you can check out the most profitable coins to mine and also places to calculate your profits. Here’s a site with suitable coins for GPU mining: https://btcgo.org/coin/mining/Gpu/ This will help you calculate your likely profits, but you’ll need to know your cards’ hashrate, power costs and some other… Read more »

Litecoin confirms transactions faster (every 2.5 minutes, rather than every 10 minutes for Bitcoin) and it contains more coins – 84 million coins will be found in total under the LTC protocol, as opposed to 21 million for BTC.
