Wenn die Frage ob ein neuer Coin entstehen kann mit ja beantwortet wird, dann wäre der Zeitpunkt für die Entstehung eines neuen Coins bei Stufe 4 ja am wahrscheinlichsten. Dann gäbe es einen Ether mit PoW einen mit PoS?!
From what I read the algorithm is memory intensive so Asics designed for ETH would be expensive and not really provide much better bang for the buck. They can provide better power management and cooling but comparable hash rates for the cost of hardware.

This video card can be tweaked to run up to 32Mh/s when mining Ethereum. However, it really shines when mining Zcash at 715 sol. It tends to cost a fair bit more than the 1070, though. The Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti would be my choice if the previous 4 GPU’s listed were unavailable or if my primary goal was to mine Zcash.

Do note that ethminer is 64-bit only and you need to have Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable installed (the 64-bit version) as it is compiled with Visual Studio 2013 and CUDA 7.5RC. Note that it seems AMD is currently faster mining Ethereum as compared to Nvidia GPUs and CPU mining is not much worth other than for testing purposes anyway.
For 12/13 GPU rigs get a slightly better CPU (60$-100$) cause it will be a bit faster when working on the Rig especially when changing GPU’s from Graphics to Compute mode in AMD Settings and using streaming software (Team Viewer, Splashtop)
It can be remembered that around April of 2017, the cards for AMD Rx 4 & 5 series totally sold out leading to a significant rise in price in most markets. Most miners opted to use this GPU, which was affordably available on the market back then.
How on earth could you have 80 asic chips sharing a 3GB VRAM? That’s not possible. The chips may be capable of 2.5 MH/s without a memory bottleneck, but what difference does that make? The only other explanation would be they have 3 GB of VRAM per chip, which would be .24 TB of VRAM. And, of course, they give no price.
Although not as potentially powerful as an ASIC, GPUs are more flexible in their application. The GPU is the Graphics Processing Unit. It’s the chip on your graphics card that does repetitive calculations, often for processing graphics. While we’ll discuss the use of GPUs in mining, they’re often used in gaming computers for “smooth decoding and rendering of 3D animations and video.”
Before any serious outlay of capital, further research into Ethereum’s prospects is warranted. While GPUs may be set to mining other coins and their costs partially recouped through resale, GPUs depreciate rapidly. This is especially true of cards put to the constant, intensive work of mining.
There are no ASICs for Ethereum. It’s currently impossible to get latest gen GPUs from any retailer, or for anything close to retail price on eBay, because there’s a mad rush to get into Ether mining.

Go to your EC2 console in AWS and change the zone to US East (N.Virginia). This zone happens to be the cheapest for the type of instance we’ll be using, and also contains a community AMI that has all the required mining libraries already installed for instant use.
Setup was simple enough, we simply found a pool to join and what miner we would be using.  We decided to go with the Ethermine pool but finding a miner was a bit trickier.  We first tried Genoils Miner but never was able to get the stratum server connected so we moved on to Claymores Miner and that one took off like a demon, so we stayed there.  Claymores Miner allowed us to use Radeon cards as well as Pascal based GeForce cards without spending hours in configurations.
Where I think there is confusion however, is that there is a belief that somehow ‘faster hashing == better’. I don’t think that’s the case at all assuming the PoW algo is sequential memory hard. In fact that would allow for better overall network security as it would distribute hashing power more evenly across a range of varied devices including phones and tablets. (particularly so in the context of a PoS/PoW hybrid situation, which would partially solve the issue of botnets/aws/digital ocean centralization).
Genoil is a continually developing and very optimized miner for Ethereum. It runs smoothly, and you can get up and running with it very quickly. Personally, I’ve had a few issues with DAG generation, but a few tweaks quickly solved this. If you’re only planning on mining Ethereum, then Ethminer by Genoil is a strong contender.
The screenshot in this section is from a factory-clocked 1650 mhz 4GB RX 470 GPU. Feel free to use the settings pictured as your starting point if you have a 4GB GPU, I haven’t found any cards that aren’t stable at these settings yet; most go a bit lower on the voltages.
There is some delay so don’t worry if you don’t see anything after you just start mining. Wait at least 20min before trying to check your account since it doesn’t create a webpage for you until you get a share.
Disclosure: Mining metrics are calculated based on a network hash rate of 232,030 GH/s and using a ETH – USD exchange rate of 1 ETH = $ 723.40. These figures vary based on the total network hash rate and on the ETH to USD conversion rate. Block reward is fixed at 3 ETH and future block reward reductions are not taken into account. The average block time used in the calculation is 15 seconds. The electricity price used in generating these metrics is $ 0.12 per kWh. Network hash rate varies over time, this is just an estimation based on current values.
