I use rig with windows 7 ultimate 64bit and error message occured “ethdcrminer64 has stopped working…” when using claymore 10 and claymore 11 with error details “module crashed: amdocl64.dll”.I try to reinstall amd driver but no luck.My rig specification,amd RX580 4GB,intel processor,and RAM DDR2 2GB,mobo ASUS P5WDG2-WS.Please help me…
But I don’t understand why it wouldn’t be profitable? I understand that the Ethash algorithm needs lots of memory and that’S not cheap. But why hasn’t a company just produced them in bulk for a lower price and made it profitable ?!
Hardware 1:1 halte ich für ein Gerücht. Gehe mal von 80% für die Grakas aus und für den Rest noch weniger. Der Engpass müsste mit steigender Difficulty, sinkendem Profit und sinkender Nachfrage nach Grakas bald Geschichte sein.
Miner würden also weiterhin fleißig an den Transaktionsgebühren verdienen. Vielleicht würden dann ein paar Miner eventuell andere Kryptowährungen minen, indem sie ihre Rechenleistung aus dem Bitcoin Netzwerk entziehen und einem anderen Blockchain Netzwerk zur Verfügung stellen. Dadurch würde aber die Gesamtrechenleistung im Netzwerk sinken und die Difficulty würde sich automatisch anpassen.
Many new users think that the sole purpose of mining is to generate ethers in a way that doesn’t require a central issuer (see our guide “What is Ether?”). This is true. i got 1 out of the 5 GPUs to mine… attempting to start another ethminer instance specifying next card crashes that specific instance (while the first one keeps hashing away)… so no dice with getting all 5 running on win10

The way I see it, the solution is simple. (To put it oversimplified), you don’t store and access the dag, you store and access the cache, and then each asic chip on-the-fly computes the full dag, grabbing the needed components for a given nonce and discarding the buffer.
STEP – This is where the optimum should be, reduce the power draw to only 50% and test for 3-5 minutes. It should give almost full hashrate with massive 50% power draw reduction. If you get crash/freeze/Claymore error increase the power draw to 60% and that’s your optimum. You should get something like this:
Graphic cards are particularly adapted for these simple, repeated and parallel operations : they have many ALUs (Arithmetic Logic Unit) or shaders for video processing. Whereas your CPU is a very good executive, a GPU is an unmatched laborer ! For the same cost, you’ll end up with a far better mining rate with a GPU. And should you prefer CPU-mining, you’ll need a high-end CPU, meaning usually high-end mobo plus RAM. Moreover, having several CPUs is expensive and quite unusual for desktop computers, while multi-GPU doesn’t scare anyone.

Es sollte bedacht werden, wie hoch die Anschaffungskosten für die Mininghardware werden und wann diese Kosten wieder reingeholt wurden. Weiterhin ist fraglich, wie hoch die Hashleistung nach Einrichtung des “Miners” ist, wie viel Ether damit errechnet werden kann und wie hoch der Strompreis pro kW/h ist.
Change power options so that the computer automatically turns itself on whenever power is restored. If you plan on using more than 3 GPUs you’ll need PCIe Risers. These will allow you to connect the graphics cards to the motherboard without attaching them directly to the motherboard. Think of these as PCI extension cords to the motherboard.
Install your GPU Drivers like you normally would (Next, next, Ok, etc.) and reboot.  Afterward, you know your GPU’s are recognized correctly if you go into Device Manager (search in Windows search bar) and you don’t see any warning marks on your GPU’s and it shows them correctly like this:
