ethminer communicates with geth on port 8545 (the default RPC port in geth). You can change this by giving the –rpcport option to geth. Ethminer will find get on any port. Note that you need to set the CORS header with –rpccorsdomain localhost. You can also set port on ethminer with -F http://127.0.0.1:3301. Setting the ports is necessary if you want several instances mining on the same computer, although this is somewhat pointless. If you are testing on a private cluster, we recommend you use CPU mining instead.
i got 1 out of the 5 GPUs to mine… attempting to start another ethminer instance specifying next card crashes that specific instance (while the first one keeps hashing away)… so no dice with getting all 5 running on win10

CPU mining can be done possibly the most profitably with dedicated CPU farms. However every(?) personal device has to have a screen, and thus, a GPU. So GPU mining would be inherently more decentralized, because a mining device would also have value as a general-purpose device. Not every turing-complete device is good as a general-purpose device.
You can now test that your rig is mining using the first command, and then start mining using the second. It’s a simple as that. If you want to use a pool different to Nanopool, then, of course, replace it with your chosen one.

Dieser Block mit dem richtigen Hashwert wird nun von allen anderen Teilnehmern im Netzwerk übernommen. Der Miner der den die richtige Nonce gefunden und somit den richtigen Hashwert generiert hat, bekommt den Blockreward + Transaktionsgebühren des Blocks (Block-Vergütung).

As for the RX 500 and 400 series GPUs, memory capacity clearly isn’t the issue as the 8GB cards still suffer. I believe the issue is memory bandwidth, at least when comparing the RX 580 to the R9 390, for example. That said this doesn’t explain why Nvidia’s GTX 1050 Ti sees no performance degradation, so perhaps it is a driver issue. Compared to the R9 390 series which features a massive 512-bit wide memory bus for a bandwidth of 384 GB/s, the RX 580 uses a 256-bit wide bus for 256 GB/s. So that could certainly explain the issue, at least when comparing those two GPUs.
Pretty much any desktop PC running Windows can be relatively easily converted into a mining rig, provided it includes a GPU that supports OpenCL and has at least 3 GB of video memory. The CPU isn’t a factor, as isn’t the PCIe speed. However, 8 GB of RAM and 50 GB of disk space should be available for crunching Ethereum blocks.

One of the more unique elements of a mining rig is having a computer case that can handle 6 GPUs. Luckily people are making cases designed to hold a lot of graphics cards, an open air case is recommended for keeping the rig running optimal & cool.
Once you successfully installed the driver with just one GPU, shut down your PC and plug in all of the other GPU’s. After that, when you turn the PC back on it should automatically detect each of them and it will install the drivers for all of them. Just remember that it will take some time (about 5-10 minutes) for all of the GPU’s to be detected properly. You can open up the Device manager, to see if all  of the GPU’s are listed there. Just turn the PC on and wait 5-10 minutes before doing anything, Windows will do it’s job.
BTC can be easily sold for cash so, indirectly, mining ETH can be a good way to fill up your bank account or earn cash. ETH can also be sold directly on several major exchanges, such as Bitfinex, BTC-e, Kraken, Gemini and Coinbase.
For AMD,  install Radeon Software Crimson Edition 15.12 and the OpenCL SDK Package. Depending on your GPU, this might not be the correct driver. So if you’re having issues, check the Ethereum Forum for advice.
Your mining software is the program that will actually perform the calculations necessary to solve hashes. Just like you have a lot of options when it comes to Ethereum wallets, you also have a lot choices when it comes to mining software. A couple of the more popular are Ethminer and Claymore.
STEP – After you found the limit of your Memory clock rate, reduce your overclock setting by 100mhz and that’s your optimal GPU Memory clock rate. For example if you got a crash at 800mhz memory speed or saw that error, reduce the memory to 700mhz and that’s your optimum.
The Ethereum Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) file is stored in VRAM by miners. The DAG grows in size by remaining proportionate to the mining difficulty. About once every epoch (or 30,000 Ethereum blocks), a new DAG is generated, which must be downloaded in order to continue mining.
   Another option is to specify “-allcoins -1”, in this mode miner will start devfee round immediately after start and therefore will get current epoch for Ethereum, after that it will be able to mine Ethereum fork.
Using Ethereum, you can create a contract that will hold a contributor’s money until any given date or goal is reached. Depending on the outcome, the funds will either be released to the project owners or safely returned back to the contributors. All of this is possible without requiring a centralized arbitrator, clearinghouse or having to trust anyone.
Follow this guide very closely and you will start mining in no time! There are TONS of ways to start mining, but this is how I personally got / get mine starting ASAP. These are BEST drivers / programs to use in my opinion after reading and testing thoroughly.
