This company is a complete desaster. no ETH payouts so far (started in august). ok, at least the balance grew and I had hope that one day I get the ETH. however, since 8th nov. there has been nothing added to my balance. so mining stopped completely. my recommendation is: don´t be stupid like I was and stay away from this shit. it is a 100% sure loss. no matter how much money you put in there.
Hello. I really like your project. I’m not quite a young man and it’s attitude carefully. But it seems to me that you are a team of professionals, and that you have no Ponzi scheme. I wish you success and look forward to long term cooperation. Sincerely, Sergey Tikhonov. ( ser2002den@ya.ru )
“Thanks to CoinMiner I’m the proud owner of a 240Mh/s beast. It’s making money and a quick, secure return on investment with massive potential for increases. I love mining and am considering starting a mining farm.”
OK so this sounds like a problem with your graphics card driver. Are you the latest driver for your card? If you’re using a standard Windows driver, this could be the cause of your problem. So I suggest you check out the relevant Nvidia or AMD website and get the latest GPU drivers for your machine.
Made about $300 dollars with genesis so far in about a month and a half. really awesome service. Had one issue with a payment not being processed and customer service resolved this immediatly. A tip I would give is to stick to one mining contract and upgrade every now and then so the difficulty increase wont be noticeable. This is better than having more than one contract and having it pay less and less each time with difficulty increase. Also use crypto to pay instead of credit card, this way there is no 30 day payout hold. Good luck guys.
Well, there is no direct relation to how much you can mine using PC in particular amount of time as it depends on a lot of factors. If you are interested in mining using your standard PC, then the amount of ether mined will not be profitable enough as it takes up a lot of electricity.
The most ideal mining hardware provides high hashing power at optimum power consumption. This explains why Ethereum miners prefer Graphic Processing Units over Central Processing units. GPUs are known to deliver higher hashing efficiency as compared with CPUs.
Gamers and computer enthusiasts upgrade their systems more than just about anyone. Motherboards, CPUs, and graphics cards sitting around after an upgrade are the perfect starting points for a hobbyist mining machine. You’ve already paid for these components and extracted value out of them. What’s more, you know their history and how well they’ve been cared for, which isn’t necessarily the case when buying discount used parts on eBay. With sufficient leftovers, you should be able to cobble together a competent mining machine, even if it’s not terribly impressive.
For example, the GTX 1050 Ti doesn’t have a very high hashrate. However, it doesn’t consume much power either. In fact, buying four 1050 Ti’s would cost you the same as buying one R9 295X2 and they have a higher profit ratio.
Ethereum can be mined by using GPUs as the same cannot be applicable in case of Bitcoin mining. Ethereum has an ASIC resistant algorithm that facilitates use of GPUs and dedicated processors resulting in a cost efficient and user-friendly mining process.
Click on “next” and you will be redirected to “configure instance details” to access advanced settings for your instance. We suggest leaving everything as is, unless you feel extremely comfortable in what you are doing. A particularly interesting feature is the “purchasing options”: if you click on “request spot instances” you can specify the bid parameters for purchasing the computational power needed to launch your instance. Don’t overlook this feature if you want to be in control of the instance costs. As Amazon suggests: you have the option to request Spot Instances and specify the maximum price you are willing to pay per instance hour. If you bid higher than the current Spot Price, your Spot Instance is launched and will be charged at the current Spot Price. Spot Prices often are significantly lower than On-Demand prices, so using Spot Instances for flexible, interruption-tolerant applications can lower your instance costs by up to 90%. Learn more about Spot Instances: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/console/ec2/spot-instances. We want to highligth this: IF YOU ARE INTERRUPTION-TOLERANT!
Ethereum was crowdfunded during August 2014 by fans all around the world. It is developed by ETHDEV with contributions from great minds across the globe. Eobot has Cloud Mining to help build ETH. You can find out more about Ethereum at https://www.ethereum.org
my point was, that if I really don’t make any income from mining (but my other work I do as a developer), I have this -1000€ still in my taxes (for hardware). so if I made 10.000€ (for simplicity) with my developer job and have to pay 20% taxes, I now only have to pay 20% of 9000€ (1800€) as before 2000€ for 10k. So my expense of 1000€ was in fact only 800€. and as i live in a country with high income taxes and social security, it’s not 20% but close to 50% 😉
GeForce GTX 1070 (Founder’s Edition) is the “Pascal”-architecture GPU that people with limited (though still substantial) budgets have been waiting for. This card is based on the same chip as the big-gun flagship GeForce GTX 1080, but it was cut down a bit to make it more affordable.
