However, when you do the math it seems that none of these cloud mining sites are profitable in the long run. Those that do seems profitable are usually scams that don’t even own any mining equipment, they are just elaborate Ponzi schemes.
A: Hvis det gøres ordentligt, er flere penge tjent ved at sælge minerede ETH end der bruges på elektricitet. Med andre ord, det er rentabelt! Du kan tjekke rentabiliteten med vores Ethereum minedrift regnemaskine.
Secondly, I am not getting into the security issues (and there are few) on properly storing your private encryption keys for your digital wallet and how to properly and securely transfer your digital currency from banks or websites. My suggestion to you is to read everything before starting anything. Although I am not suggesting the following are the best or most reputable repositories of information, you can get started into your gathering of knowledge from sites such as 99bitcoins, buybitcoinworldwide, and MyEtherWallet.
I would also recommend you buy an SSD as it is a just little bit expensive than HDD. So, you don’t have to buy any 240 GB SSD or; higher 120GB is enough. The only things that will be going on the SSD will be OS, Drivers & mining software.
How do i under-volt GPU’s with software ? Will it effect on GPU’s performances if they are under-volt meaning less profitable? How did you initially optimized it exactly and got half of the noise? How to switch fans to AUTO ? And switched to a specified degree, WITH THE SOFTWARE you installed ? Really no noise, like a laptop, less noise meaning less profit or it does not matter? And these GPU’s : AMD RX 480 or AMD RX 470 , are the latest? I am sure each month should be coming out more powerful GPU’s, does it need more RAM ? And water-cooled GPU’s why they are not worth to use, are they quite as laptop, are they twice more expensive?
A powerful alternative to the R9 295X2, the Radeon HD 7990 has a hash rate of 36 MH/s. It consumes 300 W at max load. This means you’ll save money on power consumption. You’ll make over $700 USD annually per card!
Hashrate: The hashrate is the potential of the processing unit, it determines how many hash can process one unit per second. When choosing a GPU to mine Ether, we should look at this value is high, between 20 and 30 MH / s. Currently the most powerful units on the market are the NVIDIA with Pascal architecture or the AMD with Polaris.
Here is the catch with all of this: ETH mining difficulty is increasing rapidly Ethereum Difficulty Chart and Difficulty History Chart. While this configuration will lend you 1 ETH today, it won’t tomorrow. So be careful with any ROI projection.
Every ten minutes or so mining computers collect a few hundred pending bitcoin transactions (a “block”) and turn them into a mathematical puzzle. The first miner to find the solution announces it to others on the network. The other miners then check whether the sender of the funds has the right to spend the money, and whether the solution to the puzzle is correct. If enough of them grant their approval, the block is cryptographically added to the ledger and the miners move on to the next set of transactions (hence the term “blockchain”). The miner who found the solution gets 25 bitcoins as a reward, but only after another 99 blocks have been added to the ledger. All this gives miners an incentive to participate in the system and validate transactions. Forcing miners to solve puzzles in order to add to the ledger provides protection: to double-spend a bitcoin, digital bank-robbers would need to rewrite the blockchain, and to do that they would have to control more than half of the network’s puzzle-solving capacity. Such a “51% attack” would be prohibitively expensive: bitcoin miners now have 13,000 times more combined number-crunching power than the world’s 500 biggest supercomputers.
2) After generating the Account, add a wallet and write down or copy to a text file the unique address. This address will start with the characters “0x”. It’s necessary for receiving ETH mining rewards!
Hi Vincent, Well, I would suggest that the best place to start is GPU mining. Check out our Mining Guides section for articles on mining Ethereum and Zcash as these are both good coins to mine with a GPU. A good coin to mine with CPU is Monero, although we don’t currently have a guide to doing that directly (we do have one for mining it through websites but this isn’t as efficient). Only free software and free membership to a pool is required to start mining. GPU mining will lead to wear and tear on your card, yes, the… Read more »
Good morning from Q City, so i have a noobynoob question. I am very beginner and now I mining on 3 PC. Two of them mine ethereum using 470×2 and 480×2 – I`m using dwarfpool and Claymore`s Dual miner and everything is okay when i check my wallet raits the balance is growing like beautiful garden with hundreds of mexicans working on it, !!BUT!! on my third PC I am using single msi gtx1080 gaming X to mine some zec using dwarfpool and nheqminer5c it working on 400 sol/s but my balanace is still 0.0000 after 10 hours of mine.
