According to the website Investing Haven, the price of an Ether should reach $1000, if not by 2018 then at least by 2020. That was a very conservative Ethereum price prediction for 2018 in my opinion, considering their currency’s fluctuation. The site’s research team bases their forecast on three fundamental factors:
For the first time, I am building a ethereum mining rig myself and now I want to share my experience with you. For the case, I have used a very simple wood construction for less than 10€. Here is the sketch:
This means you won’t be able to use a mining rig for other tasks, but it does mean you’ll be getting the very best mining results thanks to the best mining rigs being designed to eke out the maximum return when running.
As for the bug thanks for pointing that at. Seems you are correct that there have been small gains in difficulty since the project started. However, as to be expected you can also see that the difficulty increases in correlation to the price in ethereum. If the price goes up more people mine, when it goes down many people stop mining, just as expected. So in the end it is still a moot point. If the difficulty at the end of the year would be double what it is now, but the value of ethereum also double, than the ROI remains unchanged.
Isaac Newton suggests the existence of an aether in The Third Book of Opticks (1718): “Doth not this aethereal medium in passing out of water, glass, crystal, and other compact and dense bodies in empty spaces, grow denser and denser by degrees, and by that means refract the rays of light not in a point, but by bending them gradually in curve lines? …Is not this medium much rarer within the dense bodies of the Sun, stars, planets and comets, than in the empty celestial space between them? And in passing from them to great distances, doth it not grow denser and denser perpetually, and thereby cause the gravity of those great bodies towards one another, and of their parts towards the bodies; every body endeavouring to go from the denser parts of the medium towards the rarer?”[3]
OK, so that sounds like a pretty serious error, the card is halting mining operation for some reason. It could be overheating or experiencing some other kind of hardware or software error. Can you find the log file? Reading it would probably reveal why the card is giving problems. I believe adding the “-dbg 1” switch will create a log file which will help for troubleshooting.
its very nice post to see here, lot of good information. i just started to trade btc and altcoin since december 2017, i’ve been thinking about mining some altcoin which maybe profitable for me. i just want to ask how do i mine a coin ? does it required some premium software or is free. also does it process consume both gpu and cpu usage and shorten those ages? i really need to know what i really need and what things to change on my pc if im doing it. its just for killing some time rather than doing nothing.
Well, i would prefer this mother board since it has capacity of MAX 64GB of RAM and it does not cost much more then other(s) once.. And i saw a picture of it, it seems to me it has only 3 GPU slots, can you explain…
Crypto mining has become a divisive issue. Miners gobble up popular graphics cards by the armful, depleting inventory and driving up prices. Gamers are left to pay exorbitant prices, sometimes as much as double, even for mainstream GPUs. A little animosity between the two camps is therefore understandable.
hey your links are different which seems weird one is q.gs and the other one is adfly why are so many of your links q.gs is this another system like adfly because this doesnt seem like its right. if its you who did it okay but i was wondering why only one ad fly not multiple. if this is weird you might want to check it out if not then my bad an thanks for reading this if you do!
You will need a large amount of money for good hardware. This investment will be difficult to return with profit, the return will take several years. I do not advise you to mine, better participate in bounty campaigns.
Us mere mortals wouldn’t have an R9 290X level of card lying idle. Heck, suppose we do have unused GPU it would be something from 2 gen before it and a mainstream oran entry level card of its time at that, at the very least.
GPUs were the next available option for miners after noticing that the CPUs were becoming slower with each given day. They realized that the energy consumption of graphics cards was quite high, and so they could be used to mine Bitcoins. AMD GPUs are actually the best in this regard.
I can’t find anything about mining on this card either, but some comments from forums leads me to believe it could be about double the speed of 7950 cards. giving you somewhere between 35-40Mh/s, but this could be wrong depending on the bandwitdth usage on the card. Could be much less. Best tip is to just try it. Would be nice to hear the result!
@DarkVarano Indeed, the shadows are quite buggy. And yes, it’s not my fault but I could hardly put blame on daxnitro, think about what he has created! I don’t mind the bugginess for now, and he said he’ll work extra hard to fix the shadows for the next update. I’m looking forward to that very much!
The power supply determines how efficiently a computer pulls current from the wall socket. Unfortunately, the standard PSU converts from wall current (Alternating Current, also known as AC) to Direct Current (DC) at around 70 percent efficiency. That means 30 percent of the power pulled from the wall gets turned into waste heat. Fortunately, a variety of PSUs can convert at 80 percent and higher. When certified by the 80 Plus organization, a power supply unit receive an efficiency rating which varies depending on the load of the unit. The ratings vary between 80+, 80+ Bronze, 80+ Silver, 80+ Gold, 80+ Platinum, and 80+ Titanium. At the highest end of the spectrum, PSUs produce above 90 percent efficiency at all loads, but they tend to cost a fortune.
