“ethereum minedrift gtx 1070 hashrate”

Just bought two Avalon7 mining machines. That aver 7thz of mining power. We plan to mine ETH for awhile until it gets to difficult. THEN switch over to an asker altcoins that is gaining fast monetary value and then trade for ETH ? Thank you for this post. Hope to make $200 a day with these crypto madness!
I purchased 6 1070 FTW edition GPUs and they have two 8-pin power connectors each. Do I need to get more powers supplies to accommodate the extra 8-pin slot? Also, should I have connector branch from the power supply to both 8-pin slots or give each slot on the GPU its own connector to the power supply?
This guide is going to show you how to build an Ethereum Mining rig yourself which has two main steps – choosing and sourcing your equipment and then putting it together! Depending on times its probably going to take you a week or so to get all the pieces and then another half a day fiddling with configurations etc. Its the same as building your own computer normally but with a few extra considerations that mainly involve which GPU’s you pick.
I can’t find anything about mining on this card either, but some comments from forums leads me to believe it could be about double the speed of 7950 cards. giving you somewhere between 35-40Mh/s, but this could be wrong depending on the bandwitdth usage on the card. Could be much less. Best tip is to just try it. Would be nice to hear the result!
Alternative #2: Awesome Miner can connect to any computer running Claymore’s Dual Ethereum+Decred Miner if the API is enabled. It can be any computer, Windows or Linux, as long as the mining is running already.
Then again that is not always the top concern. One consideration is if you run a miner in a cold climate, then heat effiency can become the dominating factor. The reason being there is 0 cost to run a miner in a cold climate as it simply replaces the energy you put into a heater and it is as effective as a heater at heating your house. So as long as the amount of heat you produce is not in excess of what you need to keep your house heated, then there are 0$ electrical costs to run it. Once you pass this point then your profit margin diminishes as you will produce more heat than what is needed to heat the house (in other words you will open a window to help cool the house a little). Therefore Hash rate to heat output (equivalent to hash rate to energy consumed) would be more important than the initial price for the hardware.
Building an Ethereum mining rig is really like growing your own money tree.  The rig will run and crank away and create wealth (in digital currency) while you sit back and reap the rewards.  It takes a little tech savviness but anyone can learn how to build their own rigs.
So what I’m hearing, if I understand you correctly, is that it would still be a percentage of how much you have staked, only that the percentage would not be fixed and would instead vary depending on consensus of the miners. Since everyone is distributed reward based on the amount they have staked that sounds like what is effectively happening.
FYI, I built this ETH mining calculator into a cryptocoin portfolio app I released awhile back, when I was mining on my Radeon R9 280 3GB…the link to the difficulty needs to be updated, I’ll have to revise that part sometime soon when I have time: http://www.dragonfrugal.com/coin-prices/index.php#tab4
On the other hand, Ethereum’s smart contract technology makes corporations very interested in its real world applications. For example, a new coalition by the name of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA) has sprung up with the explicit objective of facilitating and fostering the growth of the Ether.
One such pack is the Aether Mod for Minecraft, a heavenly new world that plays by its own rules. Avid gamers will certainly be engaged and intrigued by the Aether mod, which presents an entirely new world where nothing is quite as it seems. With plenty of fun gameplay, and a whole new world of possibilities, the mod will be a great addition to virtually any existing installation of Minecraft itself. Combine it with other mods like the Optifine mod and you truely will feel like in heaven.
That alternative is Litecoin – and there’s reason to think that buyers have emptied the shelves of AMD’s Radeon hardware to build mining platforms. First off, there’s the fact that – over in the US at least – you can’t find a high-end Radeon in stock at the moment.
I’m having the same problem as Majorano. I double checked everything up until this point and I am 95% sure it is all correct. Here is what command prompt is giving me (my .bat file is called Armageddon):
I slap case fans on them when that happens, and have all my cards gapped. Right now all my cards are running at temps of 40c -60c in the winter. Air gaps make HUGGGGEEEE difference. and even though risers can be more difficult to use they are worth it. Also, I undervolt all cards, which you should if you haven’t you can easily knock the voltage down 5-10% some cards even more.
Naturally, making Ethereum price predictions for 2018 is not an easy feat. And any forecast is liable to overlook a thing or two. Please share your opinions with us in the comments below, and feel free to ask any questions you might have.
Also I disagree that trusting the miners is foolish, yes 99% are in it for the profits but there is a balance between the difficulty, price, and gross hash power, and it seems to be working. Even if difficulty doubles (depending on your electricity) it still has a 12 to 18 month payback without price inflation.
The Radeon RX 470 was among one of the first graphic cards crafted specifically for the purpose of mining Ethereum. This graphic card is marginally different from the aforementioned RX 480. The biggest difference between the two being that the RX 480 was a gaming graphic card which became popular among cryptocurrency miners due to its powerful processing and good hash-rates. However, the RX 470 was specifically made for the miners.
Wow, that’s some pretty impressive hashing power going on there! That said we did see the network hash rates much higher than they are now back when the reward was half an Ether per block. At a guess there are probably several bigger fish out there ready to jump back into the pond when Frontier is released and bigger block rewards are on offer again.
There are a few tools out there that will give you your exact solar insolation hours for your area. I’ll post a few links at the bottom of the post. When i designed systems at Affordable Solar Group here in Albuquerque, i would design the systems over the phone so i would use the customer/businesses zip code and basic roof information (really just the pitch of the roof or if it is a flat roof) and the following website:

These calculators take into account the different parameters such as electricity cost, the cost of your hardware and other variables and give you an estimate of your projected profit. Before I give you a short example of how this is calculated let’s make sure you are familiar with the different variables:
How do we start mining ETH or ETC with our own equipment at home today? Will you read this post because it shows how easy it is to get started mining with a small investment in equipment and the willingness to learn how to set everything up and explains what steps are needed to decide if investing in the time and equipment for mining?
