Your resale on the Fury’s will be higher but you’re efficiency/dollar is terrible with this rig. You’d have been waaaay better off getting (2) 7990s – at around $650 and they have the best MH/s per Watt. Your rig is pretty but seems like a total waste of cash.
Aether II is indeed an amazing mod and shall continue to grow into something even greater. However, some people haven’t played the original Aether mostly due to it being outdated and unavailable to the general public through official ways. Aether Legacy is a port of Aether I that allows people to play the original experience on newer versions of Minecraft with multiplayer support.
Power consumption is another major factor. Some GPUs consume as much as 500 Watts of power while there are others which consume as less as 150 Watts. This can be further broken down to power consumption cost per day which stands in at about $1.44 at the highest and $0.43 at the lowest.
Which CPU you recommend so it is compatible with that mother board, just give me the link in amazon.com, you have mentioned CPU, a dual-core (with Multi-Thread), just make sure it is compatible with the mother board…
In the 19th century, luminiferous aether (or ether), meaning light-bearing aether, was a theorized medium for the propagation of light (electromagnetic radiation). However, a series of increasingly complex experiments had been carried out in the late 1800s like the Michelson-Morley experiment in an attempt to detect the motion of Earth through the aether, and had failed to do so. A range of proposed aether-dragging theories could explain the null result but these were more complex, and tended to use arbitrary-looking coefficients and physical assumptions. Joseph Larmor discussed the aether in terms of a moving magnetic field caused by the acceleration of electrons.
Hi, can you help out those who are unfamiliar with the crypto world, please? I’m very much interested in the currencies you posted but how do we buy them and where do we start. Like what are the best wallets, softwares, etc? Subscribed.
Is there a way to synchronize the with Minema? Everything is working fine except that, when I start the recording, the shaderpack’s animations seem to compensate for the low realtime framerate created by Minema, so all of the animations appear extremely fast in the final video. Is there anyway to fix this?
The next step is to setup pool mining, as solo-mining is unlikely to make you any Ethereum unless you have a warehouse full of GPUs. Your first step will be to choose an Ethereum mining pool. There are plenty to choose from but we recommend Nanopool or Etheremine. The home page or help section of a mining pool site most likely contains instructions on how to mine on their pool using the popular Claymore miner.
As with any cryptocurrency, Ethereum mining profitability depends on many factors. The hash rate of your miners in relation to the total network hash rate will determine your share of earnings. Your earnings can also vary depending on Ether’s price relative to fiat currencies like the US dollar.
Step 9 — Check all your connections and cable management. Mining rigs are known for being not that stable and prone to weirdness and fire etc, so it’s a really good idea to check all of your connections and make sure that everything is secure. You should have power cables running from the PSU to the SSD, the GPUs, the GPU powered risers, the CPU port on the motherboard, and the motherboard via its big power cable. And once you know for sure all of these are lined up and connected correctly, you can mount your PSU somewhere on the rig.
Cashaa is aiming to provide solutions to the global remitance market, starting with some of the largest emerging markets like: India and China. Cashaa is also built ontop of Ethereum’s platform so it’s highly likely they will both rice in value together over the next 12-months.
You can use any personal computer to mine Ethereum, provided the system has a Graphic Card (GPU) with at least 2 GB of RAM. Central Processing Unit (CPU) mining is simply an exercise in frustration. It takes an extended period to complete, and the profits are little thanks to the cost. GPUs are your best bet as they are 200 times faster than CPUs when it comes to mining Ether. AMD cards are more efficient than Nvidia cards as well.
I just finished writing an article on Ethereum mining for this site and I covered the Titan V. It won’t be profitable for Bitcoin mining (only ASIC miners are profitable for Bitcoin) but it will mine Ethereum and other GPU-mineable coins with amazing efficiency. The problem is that it costs $3,000 and so it’ll take a very long time for it earn back its purchase price and become profitable… I believe it will get around 70 MH/s at 200 W mining Ethereum, so if you plug that into a mining calculator it should give you some idea.
Now that you’ve got your hands dirty, just sit back and watch your zcash roll in! Be aware that you are mining to a transparent address (it starts with t). You can follow this guide to learn how to create a private and transparent wallet
EDIT: Anyone else find this crashes when they open a GUI window like a chest or the chat on multiplayer? Im using tekkit (multiplayer version of the technicpack) don’t know if it may be to do with that, or it may be my 2011 macbook pros rubbish graphics card (Intel 3000HD 384mb memory shared with main memory(The only bad thing about my computer, why did apple choose such a pants graphics card?)) Anyway, my graphics card is listed as laggy but playable on the GLSL shaders wiki so i doubt it is that. I don’t know where you find crash logs, if someone could tell me where they are, i’ll post them.
Another reason why people continue mining even when it’s unprofitable to mine Ethereum is because of their belief that Ethereum will be worth much more in the future.   Even though Ethers are worth around $300-$350 now, in 5 years they might be worth $3000-$3500.  So even if mining now is unprofitable, the coins will rise in value as time goes on.
But even on the pragmatic side, cryptographic mining never made much sense to me. The profit margin is often so short-lived that by the time the average tech enthusiast hears about it, the bubble is ripe to burst. Once a mining algorithm moves to application specific integrated circuits (ASICs), it’s impossible to compete otherwise. Even if the crypto currency du jour doesn’t go ASIC, the mining pool can get saturated, and anyone without a quad-GPU farm (or better) may as well be trying to get to the moon with a sliderule (wait, we did that . . .).
Disclosure: Mining equipment metrics are calculated based on a network hash rate of 234,245 GH/s and using a ETH – USD exchange rate of 1 ETH = $ 738.07. These figures vary based on the total network hash rate and on the ETH to USD conversion rate. Equipment cost can vary, block reward is fixed at 3 ETH and future block reward reductions are not taken into account. The electricity price used in generating these metrics is $ 0.12 per kWh. Network hash rate varies over time, this is just an estimation based on current values.
I have a weird bug when i log into my world with the Shader all i can see is a black screen with NO little boxes on the bottom left: file:///C:/Users/admin/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/screenshots/2015-06-12_08.40.43.png

I think a lot of people are confused over what profitability really means. Sure everyone knows profit = revenue – cost. However, profitability of mining ETH is not simply “do I mine more ETH than cost of electricity?” This neglects the GPU/HW where it’s instrumentally important in both the revenue and the cost. If you’re doing it right, the price of the GPU/HW will be at least 2x the cost of the electricity for the whole mining lifespan of the card. Additionally, we’d hope that the final value of the HW is > $0.
