and then we got ethereum, the new standard, the new technology where everyone with a coin owns a share in a big company, and everyone who keeps using their computer to mine the coins get paid with tranaction fees people do between each other, so it’s a win/win for everyone.
A: You can use any ETH wallet address for mining, but some exchanges do not allow mining or do not allow very small deposits so double check with the site if mining directly to a web-deposit address.  A good alternative to downloading the full Mist wallet and Ethereum blockchain is MyEtherWallet.com, which still allows you to manage your Ether wallet address and maintain control of your private keys (which is important for security and/or wallet backup and restoration if needed).
As we go into the beginning of January 2018, Ethereum’s difficulty is at lower-than-average levels considering trend we saw coming out of the summer, passing 3000T. And even with the current 1800T, we’re still at more than triple the 500T we saw at the beginning of June. That also compares to an average of around 350T for the month of May. Prices were also much lower then, however.
Because of all of that my rig will actually pay for itself in less time than your rig will pay for itself. Not saying your rig is bad by any means. Just saying I stand more of a chance of breaking even than you do 🙂
I am selling a 68 GPU Mining Rig. Have listed it once, but was out of the country so I am listing it again now that I am ready to sell. The rig has been mining since October, warranty on the cards is still good until August. I am moving out of Canada hence the need to sell. The entire farm is composed of 6 rigs each with 12 cards, (68 total). If all the rigs are mining it currently pulls in roughly $4500 CAD/month with a $500 CAD power bill. This is without overclocking. None of the GPUs have been overclocked yet. I would be willing to sell each rig separate (1 MOBO 12 GPUs), or all 6 rigs at once, all 6 rigs are built onto 2 metal frame racks that will be included with the sale of 3 or more rigs. Email me with questions and to set up a time to meet. Transaction can be any major crypto, but ethereum is preferred. Parts listed below.
Aether is the Greek personification and elemental god of “the bright, glowing upper air of heaven -– the substance of light”. He embodies the pure upper air that the gods breathe, as opposed to the normal air breathed by mortals. The aether was also known as Zeus’s defensive wall, the boundary that locked Tartarus from the rest of the cosmos.

This is one of the most popular Bitcoin home ASIC miner. Despite its 9kg weight and an operating temperature of 10 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius, this miner only produces 51 dB of noise.  This, according to the scale of noise, can only be compared to a refrigerator or a quiet office. As one of the best ASIC miners, it is capable of mining 0.07031 Bitcoins per month, and around 0.8554 in one year. This would translate to a monthly profit of $208. Its mining hash rate is 8.6 TH/s and comes with a power efficiency of 0.1 J/GH.

In particular, say supporters, it is opening the way to “smart contracts”, allowing transparent, low-cost, automated contracts that are settled when those involved determine that the agreed conditions have been met.

I am a lightweight as far as mining goes, however, there is still room to make money on ETH. If you already have hardware, turn it on and let it run. If you don’t have hardware, I can see it being difficult to ROI. A lot depends on price and difficulty, price has been going down as of late, while difficulty has been going up, HOWEVER, its always possible that people quit mining and difficulty goes back down. That is almost a win win. Less competition, that is if you are in it for the long haul, however you have pretty much missed the boat on that.
As more and more blocks get validated, these validators get a portion of the transaction fees that are included in each transaction — so in a sense, they’re earning interest on the crypto that they’ve staked. Assuming that they’ve staked crypto on valid transactions, they’ll be able to reclaim their original crypto and their claimed interest after some point in time has passed (or when they remove themselves from the validator pool).
I live in philadelphia, we are no where near the arctic and we typically use heaters about 50% of the year or more depending on how sensitive you are to the cold. This year however it has been warmer than most.
One of three things is going on here, either the person really does not know what they are talking about (e.g. hashrates for RX 400 & 500 series, the R9 only coming in 4gb, etc), or they are advertising for Nvidia, or they are attempting to get a sell off for AMD cards. I don’t mind because I have been able to get some good prices on AMD cards lately with one guy even saying that he was selling cards he just purchased brand new in December because their technology was becoming obsolete. Probably read this article and took it… Read more »
