“ethereum minedrift rig youtube”

Hi Bhavesh, OK, this seems to be a fairly common error but it’s beyond my capabilities to diagnose precisely from that log. I’ve seen a variety of solutions to this issue proposed on various forums: https://ethereum.stackexchange.com/questions/18806/couldnt-connect-to-node/23153#23153 https://github.com/ethereum/mist/issues/2426 https://github.com/ethereum/mist/wiki#unable-to-find-peers I suggest starting with the simple solutions first before trying more advanced stuff. So if using Windows, start things up in Administrator mode. Then try starting Geth manually with the –nat=none flag. Then try starting from the command line as someone suggested. You can also backup your data directory, rename / move it, and let the wallet resync itself… From there,… Read more »
When a mining rig has been successfully exploited, Satori.Coin.Robber issues three payloads. The first is a package which gathers the mining state of the rig, another replaces the mining pool’s wallet address by updating the reboot.bat file, and a third which reboots the host with the new address, leading to the theft of any ETH the victim mines.
Due to the nature of Crypto Currency and volatility of the market, all the profits are for reference only and may vary. The best way to get accurate numbers for today is to use a mining profitability calculator:
The other advantage is that you don’t have to listen to the noise that it creates. Adding all of this together it would seem pretty logical to opt for a mining contract unless the joy of mining was for the joy of mining itself. Although you might just get a smaller slice of profitability by doing it for yourself – would it be worth it – we don’t think so…
i bought one and it came as promised, in a reasonable time frame and in perfect working order. I ended up tweaking the overclocking settings to get 168 mh/s and had it as high as 171! Overall, I am very satisfied.
ehhh I live in a town where there is probably 0 people mining bitcoins, I have to drive 150 miles at least to buy bitcoin from a btc atm. I dont think I will have trouble finding old graphics cards. But ya thanks
3) Choose a memorable download folder for the “Ethereum Wallet” zip file. Extract it with a suitable file extraction tool, navigate to the new folder the extractor creates and then locate and run the Ethereum app.
So I am working through some issues. First I have two drives. C: which is a fairly small SSD drive just for my OS (the blockchain is too big to fit on here) and an E: drive which stores everything else. I finally figured out how to store the blockchain on E: with my coinbase and if I am solo mining it works (probably not going to mine anything but works nontheless). So I am considering pool mining. According to your article I must first downloan the entire blockchain which I am working on doing again to the E: drive.… Read more »
Right now it is quite profitable, but it is better to see the historical comparison between prices and the difficulty. Also take in mind that the cards doesn’t last forever – not that they will brake down but eventually new cards with better hashrate per watt are appearing. So, I would say that we are looking at about taking back the price of hardware in the first year and then start taking profit which will gradually slow down. So if you invest X money in 2-3 years you will make back double the initial investment.
That may work depending on the nuance involved. Though I am skeptical that people would be willing to lock away their money without being able to access it in such a volatile market (though I suspect it would work better once ethereum has greater adoption). People like to know they can cash out when the market drops rather than loose all their money. People don’t mind it so much with cash because it isnt as volatile, but with ethereum that might be a scary prospect with so much volatility still for investors. I dunno can’t wait to see what they come up with.
However this was necessary in the current competitive altcoin market, because people need to feel like their investment is secure, and with Ethereum deciding to take action on someone who clearly took advantage of a loophole.. I think it was necessary to prevent an immediate lack of faith in the security of the code, and also was needed to prevent others from thinking it was okay to take advantage of Ethereum and ETH investors again!
With the Ethereum price over $300 today and the Ethereum Classic price at $20, the opportunity to mine Ether is now extremely profitable! Even as Ethereum prepares to go to a Proof of Stake model at the end of 2017 or beginning of 2018 which will greatly reduce the possibility of making a profit mining, any mining rig built to mine Ethereum could easily be switched to start mining ETC or another coin after the switch with a huge potential to profit before!
Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if this company entered the top 10 in trading volume this year but what else is interesting is that despite ETH exceeding others expectations on price increases, it may just be the beginning for what we can expect from the currency that is certainly rivaling Bitcoin itself.
You should not expect the same returns every month, though. As the mining difficulty rises, the number of coin shares you receive each round drops. If the price of Ethereum doesn’t go up with the difficulty scaling, it affects your income. Ultimately, Ethereum mining is going the way of the Dodo. If you don’t have the hardware already, it’s not a good idea to jump in now. If you already own mining-capable hardware, and you live in a region where the utility costs won’t kill your returns, there’s still some money to be made in those Ether mines.

Jumping into this scene, therefore, isn’t something I recommend just for a lark, and I definitely don’t recommend investing thousands in building huge server farms to try and cash in on Litecoin. Yes, if you mined hundreds of Bitcoins between 2011 and the present day, you might have just settled your retirement – but the chances of predicting an essentially unpredictable market are too high. Don’t risk money you can’t afford to lose.
but what really makes ethereum stand out is that all the people who use their computers to mine money adds to a “supercomputer”.. like me and your computer merges together and then creates one computer that is twice as strong.
I’ve received several questions about configuring drivers, adjusting overclocking/undervolting settings and configuring the mining software. Below, you’ll find a very brief 5 min video showing how to implement these 3 important steps in the mining rig configuration process.
A mining RIG for Ethereum is not economical. It is necessary to make a considerable investment to build a good team with a high hashrate that will generate a good amount of ether a day. These equipments are nothing more than graphic cards connected in a motherboard that allows breaking down the data blocks as fast as possible.
You keep talking about higher electricity costs. My electricity costs are 0$. I’ve been running server farms out of my house for over a decade, enough to heat my entire home. I have not had to run my heat once in that decade and my electric cost in winter is EXACTLY the same as it was before I started running a server farm.
The board you used and the cpu you used are not manditory for mining with the gpu’s a simple board with a simple cpu would suffice and 4 gb of mem is adviced. For the price you bought your board and cpu, you could have bought 4 individual. not that you want that. I understand you use the rigg for more things.
on page (2) the first thing it tells me is I need to get the installer which ever that is, I’d rather not install forge and it gives two options forge and non forge, it also mentions something about needing asm 5.2 for 1.12 I’m running 1.12 so I click on it and it takes me to another page (3) I download an install it
What kind of GPUs would you use? Do you have any examples? I’ve heard of external GPUs for workstation docks. In theory, it should work, since cryptomining generally runs off the GPU and doesn’t use the CPU very much.
GPU: It’s up to you to choose what graphics card you want to mine with. Do your homework. How much is it. How much power does it need. How fast is it in terms of its hash rate. The GPU must have at least 2GB of memory, AMD cards are best to use and AMD GPU driver 15.12. This Mining Hardware Comparison list is very helpful. http://62.212.74.86/~mining/list/
I started this project with consideration for the heat that the rig would generate. Earning a little bit of extra money doesn’t make sense if I have to live in misery in a hot sauna. I placed the miner in my basement, which is typically cool.
I’m sure you’ve already heard of the cryptocurrency craze way before reading this post. Cryptocurrencies are slowly and quietly revolutionizing the way financial systems and transactions work (and should work in my opinion).
Another reason why people continue mining even when it’s unprofitable to mine Ethereum is because of their belief that Ethereum will be worth much more in the future.   Even though Ethers are worth around $300-$350 now, in 5 years they might be worth $3000-$3500.  So even if mining now is unprofitable, the coins will rise in value as time goes on.
It is very easy to burn out your GPUs – I’ve done in two, but luckily got warranty replacements. The first just stopped working after one day. And one of the fans got “sticky” in the second one after a few months.

Like with CPUs, you can reduce the voltage supplied to the GPU and decrease the power consumed and waste heat produced. Whether or not there’s a trade-off depends on the silicon lottery. Most discrete graphics cards can undervolt How Undervolting Decreases Heat & Increases Battery Life How Undervolting Decreases Heat & Increases Battery Life Would you believe that many computers and smartphones can run cooler and consume less power? A trick exists, called undervolting, which can increase your CPU’s efficiency with few drawbacks. If performed right, devices generally produce… Read More slightly without losing anything. However, a small number become unstable, even with a slight undervolt. You won’t know until you try.
