There is not a direct relationship between GPU temperature and heat output (it also depends on the cooling solution). There is a direct relationship between power draw and heat output (they’re equal). R9 390(X) are going to heat up your room significantly more than a 480.
You WILL run into trouble there! Because if it is an AP, sometimes you’ll have other things drawing Power… (Microwave, Washing Machine, Fridge, etc etc etc…) and as soon as you plug them all plus your RIG, PUFF!!!
In 1982, Ioan-Iovitz Popescu, a Romanian physicist, wrote that the aether is “a form of existence of the matter, but it differs qualitatively from the common (atomic and molecular) substance or radiation (photons)”. The fluid aether is “governed by the principle of inertia and its presence produces a modification of the space-time geometry”.[16] Built upon Le Sage’s ultra-mundane corpuscles, Popescu’s theory posits a finite Universe “filled with some particles of exceedingly small mass, traveling chaotically at speed of light” and material bodies “made up of such particles called etherons”.[17]
Any firm, person, corporation, or other entity that shall establish, place, construct, erect or in any way site or locate a Commercial Cryptocurrency Mining operation described in this local law in the City of Plattsburgh in violation of the provisions of this Local Law shall be subject to, in addition to any penalties prescribed by state or local law, a civil penalty of not more than $1,000.00 for each day or part thereof during which such violation continues.
The difficulty of ETH mining is increasing exponentially. As soon as November ETH may switch to POS. To further complicated things there is the Ethereum Ice Age. If POS is delayed, then you still have a very hard deadline to earn your money back.
We’ll be seeing ETH go PoS this year, meaning there’s 1million+ graphic cards switching from ETH to other coins as well. This will create huge chaos for sure. Once that happens i hope miners have gotten their ROI
Having been in the mining game for a bit under 3 years now, I can promise you the “fastest” rig is not always the best mining rig. If there is one thing I can pass on it’s that the volatility with value over long periods is what affects ROI more than anything, and the safest bet is to get ROI as soon as possible so that if/when the value drops, you don’t end up underwater chasing your ROI incessantly. If the value drops significantly, but you’ve made ROI, then you can still mine at a small loss and speculate or simply shut down the rig during non profitable times–if the rig has paid itself off, you have these options, whereas when ROI is still on the table, you are very much limited.
The good news is that persistence often pays off here, as it does in virtually every part of Minecraft and the real world. It’s possible to find Moas, and it’s even easier to find pigs. Once one has been found, navigating the seemingly endless stream of sky-based islands becomes quite a bit easier. And, as with virtually every game, players will feel more at ease about their role in the new world as they get more comfortable. Mastering new poisons and poison darts, as well as the slime, sand, and snow, that can have adverse health effects, will pay off in the end.
Well, i would prefer this mother board since it has capacity of MAX 64GB of RAM and it does not cost much more then other(s) once.. And i saw a picture of it, it seems to me it has only 3 GPU slots, can you explain…
Danger from below is pretty consistent as well. The Aether prefers to trip players up with slime. Actually, it prefers to send them sky high just because they stepped on a little bit of yellow slime as they made their way through the Aether’s bizarre, alternative universe. And, as if that wasn’t enough, the sand present in the Aether doesn’t behave according to plan, either. Whereas the sand in most other Minecraft areas actually slows the player down, the sand in the Aether has the effect of drinking fifteen morning coffees. Players will find themselves moving uncontrollably fast through the game, and they’ll likely fall of the island where they were located. That will take them back to the entrance portal, and cost them a bit of health in the process. After all, players should never expect to fall out of the sky unharmed.
Step 6 — Mount and connect GPUs. This is likely going to be the trickiest part of the actual hardware assembly, but it’s not that bad. First you need to take out all of the risers from their packaging, and assemble them appropriately. The PCIe 16x part will connect directly to the bottom of the video card, which connects to a USB cable, which connects to a PCIe 1x piece that connects to your motherboard. You can connect this 1x slot to the 1x slots on the board, and also the 16x slot. However, for the 16x slot, be careful to place the 1x piece in the correct direction. The below image depicts the correct placement.
You do have some great information on mining with the GTX 1070, thank you. But you don’t mention the 1070 Ti, how come? According to other research I have found that the 1070 Ti is actually more efficient, and faster than the 1070 so overall it can cost less and mine more.
Hello @DHG9691 , i know! I have a lot of people asking me how i got mine to work…. and prolly 90% of Z170 borads DO NOT support more then 4 GPUs on a Hardware level… (This may be fixed on next iterations of the BIOS and/or Firmwares) But by now
The Radeon RX 480 is most efficient GPU in the market. The power cost per day shows $0.4320. The hash power if this GPU is 25.0 MH/s. this implies that it has the cost per MH/s at $7.96. The Radeon RX 480’s return per day is standing at $1.21, with a return per year of $440.91. This GPU will cost your around $200.
This volatility, as well as the novelty of this currency – Ethereum was started 2014 – drain technical analysis from any potency it might have in making Ethereum price predictions for 2018. Rendering any forecast suspicious at best. Therefore, all the following predictions take a long-term look at things.
Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders 1.12.2/1.11.2 adds a beautiful lighting effect to the game. The sun shines bright at the horizon, giving the water surface a perfect reflection of its lights. Realistic clouds are flying across the sky, disappearing in the distance. Distinct shadow effects are mirrored by the water because of the incredible lightnings. Mountains rise far away, making the landscape looking like a nature wonder, or lets say a good work from a great developer.
Fans. Liquid cooling requires more thought as it is the GPUs that require the cooling and you will have to purchase the correct GPU liquid cooling add-on, or purchase a GPU with the liquid cooling built in.
Yea, I havent gotten to test electricity costs yet. My ammeter is at my cousins, but I intend to update it once I have that. Also most miners work on a fixed electricity bill so for many this isnt particularly relevant if running it at home.
I love testing ideas and even more than just testing new ideas I love testing them using Minimum viable product approach.   I’ve been in a crypto craze for a while already – started with buy and hold, added…
Although, technically, you can setup your MacBook Pro and eGPU to mine some crypto-currency, does it mean you should go through the bother of setting it up? No, probably not. If you re serious about mining crypto-currency the you’re much better served getting hardware that will optimize your return. As of this writing, eGPU enclosures via Thunderbolt 3 will not give that to you. However, if you simply want to give mining a try-before-you-buy then seeing how comfortable you are with the setup on a Mac is a good place to start as a learning experience.
Hvis du kører Windows Defender eller et andet anti-virus program, tilføje en undtagelse til det, så det ikke gør flaget Claymore minedrift eksekverbare ”EthDcrMiner64.exe” som en virus eller forsøge at deaktivere / slette det.
Question mine under linux ubuntu debian arch centos or windows or ethos and why, thank’s for the réponse, thx 🙂 with 7970 R9 280 thx.For the best rentability and the best hashrate and pool nanopool ou suprnova or fly or other, thx i’m noob thx
Hvis du læser en begyndere Guide til Ethereum minedrift og har en GPU kraftig nok til at gøre det umagen værd, vil vi antage, at du kører Windows, så vil vi fokusere på minedrift Ethereum på denne platform.
^ This. I suppose there is SOME validity in mining ETC and hodling in case a significant increase in value occurs, but I see no evidence to convince me that this would actually happen. It’s a dead crypto as far as I’m concerned, some people just don’t know it yet.
When there isnt a long time line to do much more than break even and perhaps a little extra your thinking has to change. Now if you want to make a generic cryptominer, honestly, your probably better with ASICs or something. But this build, and post, was never meant to be about generic cryptominers.

https://www.coinhole.us is the first web miner that anyone can use to mine most popular cryptocurrencies on any new gen device even phones and game consoles. They even offer cloud mining solutions at a much more affordable rate for those that don’t have the computing power or don’t want to leave their devices on 24/7.
Ethereum Mining can be done in the comfort of your home. It requires script writing and some knowledge of the command prompt. It is quite easy and exciting once the process is broken down into manageable steps.
When I joined The Bitcoin Code 2 months ago, never could have I ever imagined the series of events that would unfold just days after locking in my free software. I was able to clear my $131,382 debt. There is no greater feeling than to be debt-free. Now, in the process of buying my dream home. I still can’t believe this is all really happening…I’m forever grateful to Steve.
EDIT: Anyone else find this crashes when they open a GUI window like a chest or the chat on multiplayer? Im using tekkit (multiplayer version of the technicpack) don’t know if it may be to do with that, or it may be my 2011 macbook pros rubbish graphics card (Intel 3000HD 384mb memory shared with main memory(The only bad thing about my computer, why did apple choose such a pants graphics card?)) Anyway, my graphics card is listed as laggy but playable on the GLSL shaders wiki so i doubt it is that. I don’t know where you find crash logs, if someone could tell me where they are, i’ll post them.
5. A PSU or Power Supply Unit – Power supply units come in many sizes and this can trip some people up when they are looking at calculating what size they need. You need to sum up the power consumption of your GPU and all the other components and make sure your power supply has the capability to supply more! So if you have two GPU’s that consumes 220 Watts and other components that need 250 Watts then you can get away with a 750 Watt power supply unit as the total power needed is only 690Watts.
Very good guide and an interesting read. I was wondering, lets say you can only lay hands on 3 gpu’s initially. Is it worth bringing up the rig with half gpu’s and then adding the rest as you can find them?
