This is a very useful site for finding the hash rates on different graphics cards for Ethereum (ETHash), ZCash (EquiHash) and Monero (Cryptonight). The site also shows you the power draws for the graphics cards and will even give you the Amazon links on where to buy them, as well as suggestions for other parts you’d need to improve your mining rig. Bitcoin mining is so called because it resembles the mining of other commodities: it requires exertion and it slowly makes new units available to anybody who wishes to take part. An important difference is that the supply does not depend on the amount of mining. In general changing total miner hashpower does not change how many bitcoins are created over the long term.
This one is easy: buy the cheapest CPU that works with whatever motherboard you pick. When it comes to mining, the GPUs do all the work. Your CPU will essentially sit idle, so there is no reason to waste money on anything other than the bare minimum.
Put very simply, cloud mining means using (generally) shared processing power run from remote data centres. One only needs a home computer for communications, optional local bitcoin wallets and so on.
It depends on the difficulty level. I’m not sure where Ethereum is right now, but a megahash rate of around 25 is what most people were getting with IIRC an RX 470 and they were profitably mining a few months ago. A hash rate of 11 MH/s isn’t amazing, but it’s almost half of an RX 470 (which sells for a ridiculous amount of money). You won’t make any money unless Ethereum goes up in value vs your power costs. But using a build like this helps you keep the power cost and build costs lower than had you decided to get a 470 or 480.
The processing power of the cards is added from the spreadsheet shared in the thread mentioned above. The consumption is taken from the same place or from and the price is manually taken from amazon and neweggs(depending where is cheaper, the links contains affiliate code).
As for the frame ill recommend to do it yourself, is not that hard. If you find the right materials and tools then you will not around 1-2 hours to build it and will const you around $50-$80. Check this tutorial!
Could you write an article about how the cryptocurrencies get the money to pay to their miners. What they do with all the computations your graphic cards are making and if every time they increase the difficulty of mining a coin, does the additional produce something of value or just create busy work. How safe is it allow somebody you don’t know to have unlimited, unmonitored access to you computer.

For a prelude, back in December 2017, I decided to build up to 12 GPU mining rig, using kind of dollar cost averaging – installing a new graphics card once in a month. Now, about 30 days later I have a 3 graphics card mining rig, and I’m dual mining Ether and Siacoin, These 3 cards combined gives me about 41 MH/s hashing power – which translates into some $5-$6 per day (not counting in fee for electricity)
You suggested the usage of the GIGABYTE 1070 with the model number #GV-N1070WF2OC-8GD, however, on Amazon (at least on the German Amazon), the power usage of it is noted as 500w and I don’t really understand how six of those are supposed to work together with a PSU with 1000w. Is that information simply wrong or am I missing something?
If you are planning on overclocking your GPUs, we recommend installing Afterburner. We use MSI Afterburner. For AMD GPUs you’ll need the latest beta version. You are going to adjust all the graphics card settings at your own risk – when in doubt, feel free to contact 2Miners on Telegram or Slack for advice.

Another benefit is that in case the currency you are mining drops in value, you can easily swap to another coin and regain your profits that way. Take Ethereum for example. One year ago and with a small mining operation, it was very easy to mine 1 or 2 Ethers a day, while at the time it was only worth a couple of dollars. Install your GPU Drivers like you normally would (Next, next, Ok, etc.) and reboot.  Afterward, you know your GPU’s are recognized correctly if you go into Device Manager (search in Windows search bar) and you don’t see any warning marks on your GPU’s and it shows them correctly like this:  
Looks awesome right?  A mining rig is made up the same components that go into normal desktop computer.  But there are a few differences.  In a normal desktop computer, you kind of have a good balance between CPU, RAM, GPU, and HD.  With gaming computers, you have higher clocked versions of CPU, loads of RAM, one or two GPUs and SDDs.
Let’s also hold the price of Ethereum static. By removing any profitability from the appreciation of Ethereum from the equation, we’ll be able to correlate the actual rates of return exclusively with hardware, electricity, and any other costs associated with running a mining rig.
So with no other alt-coins and no GPU PoW, your options are to try and sell on a depressed market, or to actually realise the actual comput value of having kickass super computers in your lounge room.
