There are three different pools that utilize profit switching: ZPool, NiceHash, and MiningPoolHub. I’ve personally tried NiceHash and Mining Pool Hub. In my opinion, Mining Pool Hub is more profitable, and it gives you more control over what you mine.
Imagine for a moment a supercomputer like the NSA uses to break encryptions during their surveillance operations. This computer costs billions of US Dollars and can do computations at a speed of 93 petaflops. Basically, it is super crazy fast and can run computations like the modeling of the human brain, crunch the numbers on global weather patterns to get accurate weather reports and any number of other applications.

To get something out of eth mining you need to put something in. The main costs you’ll face include the hardware and setup costs as well as the maintenance costs. These costs apply to solo mining and pool mining. For cloud mining, the fee you pay for a contract is your cost.
The initial price you pay will determine how long it takes for your card to pay for itself, based on your mining profits. This formula will pinpoint your Return on Investment (ROI): Coins earned minus electrical costs and other costs. The ROI is usually expressed in months. Prices should be considered rough indications, since they’re based on the current Amazon prices at the time of writing.
I am very satisfied and have more trust and faith in your mining. I just want to buy more hash, but I am very upset because I have not been able to continue to accept the card. As a result of my study, my card is normal. I’d appreciate it if you could explain why each time you refuse to accept an add-on card.
Based in Romania, Costa Nord Mine offers Ethereum cloud mining services, allowing users to purchase hashpower without having to deal with complex hardware and software configuration. Costa Nord Mine offers mining services and a variety of mining-related solutions for small and large investors.
But this shortchanges the additional value of mining Ether. It is also absolutely required for securing the Ethereum network as it creates, verifies, publishes, and propagates blocks in the blockchain.
I would say that this site has a pretty consistent overall mining. The only negative I see is that if mining isn’t profitable then your lifetime subscription can be cancelled at anytime. Also I would mine for Altcoins on here as Bitcoin is harder to obtain in a high amount these days.
As of today with a 200k GHs network hashrate the potential is very small in this contract, you’re better off overpaying on a GPU really than purchasing this. Was excited when i saw contracts were available again but at the price/MH this is definitely a hard-pass recommendation
Listed below are the components along with the amount you will need to assemble your GPU mining rig. Once your components arrive, you will want to come back to this guide for assembly and configuration instructions. I’ve included a YouTube video further down the page with complete assembly instructions as well.
The Radeon R9 295X2 has by far the highest hash rate (46.0 MH/s) of the Ethereum GPUs on the market and will cost you $600. It has a power cost per day of about $1.44, a return per day of about $1.61 and a cost per MH/s of $13.04. This gives a return per year of $586.43.
had a quick question on setting up geth – I’ve gotten to step 7 and while syncing it keeps generating the same few lines of text (“imported new block receipts, imported new block headers”, etc.) should this be expected? how long does this usually take to complete?
Founded in 2014, WageCan is a Taiwan-based company that offers cryptocurrency-related services, including cards and wallets. HashCan is a Bitcoin cloud mining service provided by WageCan, allowing users to mine cryptocurrencies without having to set up and host the mining hardware itself.
The Radeon RX 470 was among one of the first graphic cards crafted specifically for the purpose of mining Ethereum. This graphic card is marginally different from the aforementioned RX 480. The biggest difference between the two being that the RX 480 was a gaming graphic card which became popular among cryptocurrency miners due to its powerful processing and good hash-rates. However, the RX 470 was specifically made for the miners.
Hi Omer, Nope, Bitcoin can only be mined with any kind of profit using ASIC mining hardware. These are specialised devices which can only be used for mining specific algorithms. However, you could use those cards for GPU mineable coins. Like in my answer to Daniel just below, there are sites where you can check out the most profitable coins to mine and also places to calculate your profits. Here’s a site with suitable coins for GPU mining: https://btcgo.org/coin/mining/Gpu/ This will help you calculate your likely profits, but you’ll need to know your cards’ hashrate, power costs and some other… Read more »
How to take into account the difficulty growth when calculating the profitability for the next six month ? I started to mine 2 months ago and I was making 5ETH/day. No, only around 3.3 max despite the fact that I have improved my setting.
Second, I can’t think off the top of my head what might be going on. It’s well established that the RX 460 can hit close to 11 MHS on a rig practically made from wet noodles. The hash you’re getting is so ridiculously low, something is clearly off. And updating drivers is almost always the first thing to do.
It is strange, yes. I thought that too. At some point I abandoned the Claymore and started WinMiner just to see in the command prompt its using Claymore 9.7 Beta. It connected and started mining from the WinMiner pools. In a few hours I tried again the newest Claymore and it connected to mine ETH.
The Radeon R9 295X2 is offering the highest hash power (46.0 MH/s) of the Ethereum GPUs on the market. This GPU will cost you around $600, however there is almost none available in the market. On eBay Asus Radeon R9 295X2 is being sold for $1100 – $1800.  The daily power cost of Radeon R9 295X2 GPU is about $1.44. The Radeon R9 295X2 has the cost per MH/s of $13.04. This model of GPU will provide you a return per year of $586.43.
Bitcoin’s public ledger (the “block chain”) was started on January 3rd, 2009 at 18:15 UTC presumably by Satoshi Nakamoto. The first block is known as the genesis block. The first transaction recorded in the first block was a single transaction paying the reward of 50 new bitcoins to its creator.
Let’s see how to choose the right hardware and build a universal mining rig for the Dagger Hashimoto (Ethash) algorithm for such coins as Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Metaverse, Expanse, Musicoin, Pirl, Whale, and an Equihash algorithm for Zcash, ZClassic, Zencash, Bitcoin Gold.

Hello, first, thank you for the tutorial, miner appears to be functioning. Hoever, it’s not working properly on my machine. I keep getting a Watchdog Error: must restart GPU. Please help me sort this error out. Thanks.
As for the frame ill recommend to do it yourself, is not that hard. If you find the right materials and tools then you will not around 1-2 hours to build it and will const you around $50-$80. Check this tutorial!
I concur with dlehenky on that. 390s aren’t worth it. Refurb 290s or 480s are the cards to get right now I’d say. Newegg periodically drops their 290s by another $20 too, worth watching for. 480s are hard to find period right now – apparently there are huge backlogs of orders already.
In choosing the most efficient GPU the most important thing is striking a balance between how powerful you want your rig to be and how much you are willing to spend on the GPU itself and the electricity.

It was not nearly as easy as I just made it sound though. I bought it and it was quite the exercise just to put it together. I had never built a computer before, so I got to learn how everything goes together and in the process of debugging it I also got to learn what matters and what does not.
No deposit is returned to customer by genesis-mining.com. If you buy a 2 year contract you will earn your money back in some time plus some profit. Use our calculators for this answer. But when the contract is finished no money will be earned after. It is like a bus ticket. When the journey is finished no money given back:)
If I wanted to pursue this as the only means of financial independence, I would need 15 machines to crank out ~$3,000/mo and then an additional 1 or 2 just to pay for the electricity. You would need to add additional network switches, dedicated power supplies in your house to supply all the required power, and then have spare parts on hand for when things break. You have added many layers of complexity when you start networking 15+ computers together to mine cryptocurrency. This disobeys the keep it simple principle, so I will not be pursuing it.
Crypto miners—in particular those mining ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency by market valuation behind bitcoin—have been in the crypto equivalent of a gold rush since early this year. They are racing to take advantage of ethereum’s exploding price by adding more processing power to their mines. Some of them are even resorting to leasing Boeing 747s to fly the increasingly scarce graphics processors from AMD and Nvidia directly to their ethereum mines so they can be plugged in to the network as quickly as possible.
OK, so that sounds like a pretty serious error, the card is halting its mining operation for some reason. It could be overheating or experiencing some other kind of hardware or software error. Can you find the log file? Reading it would probably reveal why the card is giving problems. I believe adding the “-dbg 1” switch will create a log file which will help for troubleshooting.
