Running a CPU you might be able to generate 0.15 Mega Hashes whilst with a decent GPU with enough memory you could be doing upwards 25 Mega Hashes (you can choose a GPU to mine ether here and use our guide on how to choose a GPU to mine ether). So in terms of total efficiency, taking into account electrical costs, a GPU is definitely worth it even if it costs you $200.
Car oui, il faudra monter la machine, la configurer, et tâtonner jusqu’à ce que les réglages soient parfaits. De plus il faudra être en mesure de tout contrôler régulièrement, et de réagir en cas de panne.
If you plan to run Linux, you can use pretty much anything, including a ~$5 16GB USB stick (we’ll be using Claymore miner, which doesn’t write Ethereum’s DAG file to disk, so we don’t need to worry about wearing a USB stick out due to constantly writing to it, like with the stock ethminer). With that said, SSDs are pretty cheap nowadays and it might be nice to have one in case you want to try Windows at some point.
AMD cards are likely the best choice for the budget-conscious. However, the top-end Nvidia cards outperform them in terms of power efficiency. Carefully weigh your options, and keep in mind your budget and power costs.
I can see the program is running in task manager, however I would like to see my hash rate window (like I see when I start it manually). Is there a way / command I can use to view this?  Can I just open the .bat file again? I would assume this would open a second instance… Any help / suggestions would be appreciated.
21 June, Ethereum News – Mining Ethereum is a time and power consuming process. Just as I discussed in my Step by step Ethereum mining guide, the only way to get this digital currency is through mining. However, mining Ethereum implies more than just increasing number of Ethers in circulation. It also means securing the network which in turn, assures the verified calculation.

Selling Profile tells the calculator how to use the Price Change value. Price Change must be set to something other than 0 to have any effect on the profitability projections. Selling Profile has 4 different options:
L’ethereum classic est né suite à un bug dans une application décentralisée Ethereum appelé DAO ( Decentralized Autonomous Organization ). Voulant réparer leurs erreurs les développeurs ont décidé de modifier le code de la blockchain ethereum afin de restaurer les ethereum volés à leur propriétaire ( via le bug de l’application décentralisée DAO ).
Both design styles end up looking very similar to one another. That’s because cryptocurrency mining focuses on two parts: the graphics card and the power supply. The rest of the computer can be little more than scrap heap pulls.
BTW, I see strange things related to pools in logs and you can check them too. There are two threads in miner – main and devfee, both are connected to the same pool and both must get new job at the same time. However, sometimes new job arrives only to one thread and second thread can get it 10-30 seconds later or don’t get it at all. I test stratum+tcp://monero.crypto-pool.fr:6666, I did not test other pools.
BitFury is a chip producer and rig maker. The Company has recently opened data a data centre for Bitcoin mining in Georgia. Although not the most popular mining provider in the market BitFury products are solid and reliable with a fair reputation.
SharkMining is one of a kind company developing operating system designed for mining rigs only. SharkOS – served-grade Linux based operating systems with smart control and protection features. Most of mining rigs on the market are based on Windows operating system. Desktop operating system like Windows is not designed for use cases like mining. You will get frequent freezes, unstable mining experience and lower mining speed.
All the information on cryptocurrency transactions must be embedded in data blocks. Each block is linked internally to several other blocks. This creates the blockchain. These blocks must be analyzed as fast as possible to ensure a smooth running of transactions on the platform. However, the issuers of such currencies do not have the processing capabilities to handle this alone. It is where miners come in.
Just a hypothetical, but say someone had (legal) remote access to 5,000+ normal desktop computers. If he/she were to install the software on them, could it be profitable? On-board Intel graphics type machines.
I am very satisfied and have more trust and faith in your mining. I just want to buy more hash, but I am very upset because I have not been able to continue to accept the card. As a result of my study, my card is normal. I’d appreciate it if you could explain why each time you refuse to accept an add-on card.
