Power supply units: $300. We recommend good-quality Corsair CX750M – three units will be more than enough for one rig ($100 each PSU). That’s true; many prefer some 1600-watt no-name Chinese “magic” PSU. But it works, they say. We didn’t check though. Three CX750M units for 8 GPUs: you can easily connect any eight GPUs you want using cables included in Corsair’s package, plus you’ll end up having some extra power left.

Maintenance and electricity fees are not billed in an invoice. Instead the fees are deducted from the customer’s balance at the moment of daily payouts. Despite the fact that balance is accounted for in BTC and the fees – in USD, the fees are deducted in BTC according to the current USD/BTC exchange rate which is beneficial for the customer in case the exchange rate trend is positive – more BTC remains in the customer’s balance.
CoinSwitch is an easy-to-use cryptocurrency exchange aggregator (one place to access multiple available exchanges) with many leading markets across the globe, such as Changelly, Shapeshift, EverCoin, Blocktrades, Bittrex, Cryptopia and others. CoinSw…
Total network hashrate has been climbing rapidly since Q2 2016. A dip occurred on news of the DAO crisis but hashrate has since recovered. Things were relatively quiet until around Q2 2017 where everything Crypto related absolutely boomed, especially Ethereum as it facilitated a wave of new projects and ICO activity.   This chart from Etherscan tells the story:
I just started about four weeks ago and was lucky enough to amass 20 cards in this short span in this market all for under $300, some used and new, except one at $305. Probably around $250 average for a mix of 480/570/580. But I work from home and am able to monitor eBay, monitor nowinstock, check the used listings on fb and cl while I work or on breaks. Lots of late nights too, got a bit obsessed for a period. No way I have the GPUs I do now if I didn’t, and I still have a tiny setup compared to many.
Frankly speaking, this sounds too good to be true – Ethereum Cloud mining contract from Hashflare would perform just slightly worse than your own existing mining rig. I wouldn’t say this is a red alarm for me, but it still raises some questions – how comes? Is Hashflare legit and so on?
Here you can ask the community questions about your mining setup, and about any issues you may be having. Though r/EtherMining is focused on mining Ethereum, they will be happy to help you with general mining questions. The Ethereum Stack Exchange community is another useful one where can find out about graphics card hashrates as well as ask questions. You can also ask about general Ethereum questions here.
They include the ether earned from all blocks (5 ETH) as well as the rewards. Revenues are easier to calculate after mining since you have all the information. However, a close estimate is possible once you know your hash rate. Note that in pool and cloud mining you might miss out on gas and payments for uncles depending on your contract.
This is my second purchase and am happy that they easily offer the ability to choose other ALT cryptos. I decided to mine more XMR, but also use to allocate some of the mining results to LTC and DASH. This was very easy to do with a few clicks on their website. Thank you Genesis.
I disagree… had the same scenario..the cost of an Ether mining contract with Genesis I could have bought 5.2 ETH …mined less than 2. Bought ZEC mining with Genesis…. never going to make half the amount I spent.

TJ Hooker, an AC unit takes MORE than 1W of electricity to remove 1W of heat. Air conditioning (and all heat exchangers for that matter) are not energy efficient. 2nd law of thermodynamics, and all that jazz. If he’s pumping 1000W of heat into the room, he’s probably using close to 1500W-2000W of air conditioning to offset it.
Ethereum mining hardware is thus, very crucial in terms of usage and require a large amount of electricity at the same time. Therefore, in choosing efficient Ethereum mining hardware, we would have to look into the factor of cost, how much power does it take and also higher hash rate i.e. the speed of solving and completing an operation, and thus striking a balance between them.
