There are a lot of things going on. Now that the office partition is 95% complete, it is time to start working on the aesthetics. While we don’t aim to make it look as good as Activision Blizzard headquarters in Santa Monica, we do want to paint the walls and whatnot.

The parameters can vary significantly between operators. Our advice is to always start with small investments and increase the investments over time. Read our blog and first page to see the latest updates.
These cards are quite effective when it comes to power consumption and they are long considered the workhorse of GPU mining. The cards from the RX 400 and 500 series feature a really amazing cooling and can boast a performance that ideally matches the initial price, but the time has sadly arrived when the cards from these series must be put out to pasture – at least for Ethereum mining purposes. Yet, you can use an RX 580/570/480/470 only for mining altcoins, but unless you can find them at a good price, you should shun the rip-off prices that sellers often charge for these cards.
By entering the above details into an Ethereum Mining Calculator, you’ll be presented with a rough guide of your expected profits. While the calculator will automatically enter the current figure for difficulty, keep in mind that difficulty is very likely to rise in the future. Ethereum’s high price lures in more miners!
It is predicted that the difficulty to mine ETH will keep increasing even as miners increase because the amount of Ethereum is fixed. To better the difficulty, a description of hash rate will help.
Hashflare: Is one of the best and popular cloud mining services that are on the internet in 2017. Their prices for GH/s are just insane and they should be sold out very soon. I personally purchased about 33,500 GH/s ala 33,5 Th/s and it earns me roughly about 80–120 each day.
Is Ethereum mining profitable? This is one of the most asked questions about ethereum mining. The response is not so simple and clear because not all the parameters can be anticipated. Profitability depends on the hashrate and on the price of hardware and electricity but also on Eth price and on the how many other people are mining in the network. While most of the parametes are steady the last 2 are can change from on day to another.
The ASRock H110 Pro BTC+ is another excellent choice for mining, with support for up to 13 GPUs. However, it currently costs about the same as Asus’s mining board, and for the money I’d rather stick with Asus. If you know that you’ll definitely stick to a single PSU and a small handful of GPUs (e.g.: the majority of us), this is a fine choice, especially if you find a deal on it.
I love testing ideas and even more than just testing new ideas I love testing them using Minimum viable product approach.   I’ve been in a crypto craze for a while already – started with buy and hold, added…
So for example if we have a single AMD Radeon R9 280X GPU available that is capable of producing around 24 MHS worth of hashrate when mining Ethereum and we enter that value in the calculator we are going to get an estimation of about 4.5 ETH mined in a day or a bit over $5 USD. This is making mining Ether on the Ethereum network a pretty good and profitable crypto currency to mine at the moment if the estimates are true. If you want you can check our Quick Guide on How to Mine Ethereum on Windows to get things started. The Ethereum Mining Profitability Calculator is pretty simple and dubbed as alpha software, but it works well, the code is written in Python and the source code is also available for anyone interested.
A word on positioning. GPU’s can get hot – especially if you overclock them so be sure to get the best bang for your buck – and to be safe to place your rig in a well ventilated area so it doesn’t overheat.
I have an old PC that doesn’t have PCIe slots but has 4 USB’s. I wonder what about if I use 4 PCI-E PCI Express X16 Extender and run the GPU’s from the USB ports. would it work? like this, I would need a smaller investment, just to start playing with it.
although power price is very cheaper in my country but I hope ETH price goes higher , but ETH going to POS in couple of months am I right ? even if eth POS ed we can mine ETC and other profitable currencies so I will not sell my rigs
INUX Cloud is a real company with its own mining facilities. We own all the mining hardware and have our own cloud infrastructure to support our mining operations. We are registered with the Slovak Business Court of Bratislava and have a proven track record of delivering services to customers.
Looks awesome right?  A mining rig is made up the same components that go into normal desktop computer.  But there are a few differences.  In a normal desktop computer, you kind of have a good balance between CPU, RAM, GPU, and HD.  With gaming computers, you have higher clocked versions of CPU, loads of RAM, one or two GPUs and SDDs.
As the price of Ethereum is around $1000 you may be wondering to yourself whether it’s worthwhile to mine ETH. Like Bitcoin, Ethereum is a proof-of-work coin that uses miners to confirm network transactions. The profitability of mining varies from person to person and changes over time – usually becoming less profitable as the coin matures.
GPU   Graphical Processing Unit, a GPU (or commonly just referred to as a graphics card) was previously the dominant way of Bitcoin mining. It was way beyond the efficiency of a CPU and plenty common among computer users to gain widespread adoption. With the increase in the difficulty it has recently become too inefficient for most to continue mining with GPUs as their electric bills now compete with the value they generate. For futher details, please see our hardware page.
Well, since I started mining Ether, I went from over 20 ether a day like in Dec 2015 to today it’s saying 5.92, on the same exact setup, actually I have slightly more Hashes because of toying with settings and whatnot along the way. I only experience less Ether week to week. I really wouldn’t advice anyone to jump in now, unless they plan to use the computer as a gaming rig later, most likely in a month or 2 the profits will be back in line with the 2015 crypto mining world, which is not much more than cost for most people.
I think Monero has great potential and I am thrilled it’s available at Genesis Mining. I already know I can expect regular payouts from Genesis Mining on a crypto-currency I think will grow in value as others enter the crypto-space.
Mining   This is the process by which new blocks are created and all Bitcoin transactions are verified. Mining is actually a poor name for the process taking place, but caught on due to the hope of completing a block and winning the attached Bitcoin reward.
The website is clear, everything went right during the SignIn.I also upgrade my hashpower. No probems. The income began the day after, normally. Il you are looking for CloudMining, Genesis Mining is the No 1.
Regardless, I’m going to pick up where Eric left off. With a stack of graphics cards at hand, I am ready to go down the mineshaft. Will this be a fool’s errand, or is there still gold to be found? Let’s find out.
I thought I’d see a well-done article, covering the basics, ESPECIALLY hashes per watts in a table… that thing is ESSENTIAL whenever you use the word “efficient” when talking about mining cryptocurrencies!
Just, I disapoint my college when I started IT, as my college couldn’t have taught me well in my IT class, so I had not have gotten good time to collect the coins. However, I finally meet you. So, it is great. And a suggestion, I can’t find to buy more hashpower with my one account, therefore please make more oppertunites to buy hash power. 😉 Thank you so much for your emails. Good job guys.
To run your mining rig you only need about a 60gb hard drive which you should get as a solid state drive. This will allow the OS to run smoothly and prevent drive failures. If you plan on mining without a pool you’ll want to get a larger hard drive to download the entire blockchain (~10gb+) but we highly recommend using a mining pool.
You do have some great information on mining with the GTX 1070, thank you. But you don’t mention the 1070 Ti, how come? According to other research I have found that the 1070 Ti is actually more efficient, and faster than the 1070 so overall it can cost less and mine more.
*While my guides deal with setting up and optimizing AMD’s GPUs, nVidia’s 1060 / 1070 video cards are also excellent for mining. Generally these days I tend to recommend whichever is cheaper (and right now, that’s AMD). But if you find a deal on some nVidia 1070 GPUs, don’t hesitate to grab them—they perform just as well as AMD’s offerings, and are arguably easier to set up (just remember to install nVidia drivers instead of AMD’s if you follow the rest of my guide!).
The power supply determines how efficiently a computer pulls current from the wall socket. Unfortunately, the standard PSU converts from wall current (Alternating Current, also known as AC) to Direct Current (DC) at around 70 percent efficiency. That means 30 percent of the power pulled from the wall gets turned into waste heat. Fortunately, a variety of PSUs can convert at 80 percent and higher. When certified by the 80 Plus organization, a power supply unit receive an efficiency rating which varies depending on the load of the unit. The ratings vary between 80+, 80+ Bronze, 80+ Silver, 80+ Gold, 80+ Platinum, and 80+ Titanium. At the highest end of the spectrum, PSUs produce above 90 percent efficiency at all loads, but they tend to cost a fortune.
Finally, the Biostar TB250-BTC is also aimed at miners, and costs considerably less than the Asus and ASRock offerings. The Biostar board “only” supports 6 GPUs, but that’s likely all that the majority of us need. If price is your primary consideration, the TB250-BTC should be at the top of your list for 6 GPU rig builds.
