1x RAM (System Memory) –  4 GB RAM – You don’t need a lot of system memory to mine ethereum effectively. 4GB is about as small as a stick of RAM comes these days, so I recommend just picking up a cheap one as long as it is DDR 4 desktop memory.
With all of that said, the 8GB versions of the cards tend to have faster-clocked memory than most of the 4GB cards, so if the price difference isn’t too large, spring for whatever is the fastest. Most of the cards fall between 1650 Mhz (6600 Mbps effective) to 2000 Mhz (8000 Mbps effective). The slower 1650 Mhz memory GPUs will hash at 21-23 Mh/s, and the fastest 2000 Mhz ones will do 25-28 Mh/s (both can potentially be pushed higher with BIOS mods and good luck).
As the world first 28nm BTC and LTC chip maker, Innosilicon selects Genesis Ming as partner in cloud mining industry business for its integrity, excellent customer oriented service and great user interface design. Ethereum plans to switch to Proof of Stake in 2018 which will eliminate mining slowly over time. But even if Ethereum is no longer mined you can find a new coin to mine, we recommend checking out whattomine which will keep you in the know for highest ROI coins to mine.
New to Mining? Learn to Mine Altcoins with MinerGate using your existing hardware. Once you see it in action hit the mining dashboards mining dashboards and profitability charts, learn How Ethereum Mining Works and practice How To Mine Monero using just the CPU on Linux.
Now, for the ease of this experiment – let’s compare Ethereum mining – DIY and Cloud contract from Hashflare.io. Also, I will assume you already have basic components – like motherboard, pc risers, processor and so on – and the one and only investment you are concerned is – adding a new graphics card.
Honestly I thought daily payouts would be a bit faster since it is cloud mining and not a crypto faucet. But all in all,.. I’m hoping it gets me all the way up to 1.0 bitcoin and higher very quickly,.. so I can upgrade to the platinum contract with the bitcoins i make from these contracts I purchased,” both the SHA-256 Lifetime Contract and the X11 Scrypt 1 Year Contract”. Then what I make from the Platinum I will use to upgrade to the diamond contract and if all goes successful well and as planned,…I’ll keep purchasing diamond contracts from you guys to maximise my profits. I also have to wait 30 days to receive payouts which is disappointing because I paid with a credit card :(. But I will definitely give “Genesis Cloud Mining” services 5 stars when I start seeing real results like complete whole Bitcoin payouts straight to my electrum wallet address,..from {1.0 to 5.0 bitcoins} and higher. Allowing me to easily move on to the next contract instead of Just receiving small bitcoin amounts like satoshis. But I give it 4 stars based on quick product delivery and almost instant results. This is a Promising cloud mining company and so far so good.
I think it’s profitable only if ETH price climbs with ETH difficulty but with that being said, it would be better to just buy ETH if ETH climbs 30-50%. The people who are making the real profit are the people who are supplying the parts :)!
Ethereum was crowdfunded during August 2014 by fans all around the world. It is developed by ETHDEV with contributions from great minds across the globe. Eobot has Cloud Mining to help build ETH. You can find out more about Ethereum at https://www.ethereum.org
We recommend checking out an Ethereum mining calculator before starting with mining process. An Ethereum mining calculator is an essential tool that will help you work this out, and by entering the above details into the calculator, you’ll be presented with a rough guide of your expected profits. The calculator will automatically enter the current figure for difficulty. However, Ethereum’s high price lures in more miners so that difficulty is very likely to rise in the future.
Ethereum was proposed in late 2013 by Vitalik Buterin, a cryptocurrency researcher and programmer. Development was funded by an online crowdsale that took place between July and August 2014. The system went live on 30 July 2015, with 11.9 million coins “premined” for the crowdsale. This accounts for approximately 13 percent of the total circulating supply.
A quick question: So you’re saying that setting the MC to 600 Mhz gives you a hashrate of 30mh/s? I have a R9 390 8 GB (I’ve been testing it out for Ether mining before I invest in building a multi gpu system), and my MC/CC is set to 1500/1000 mhz and gives me around 30 mh/s. When I overclock it to 1675/1185, it gives me around 34 Mh/s… (Claymore, Win 7 64 bit OS).. temp stays between 60-70 degrees C.
