Second, copy these figures into the Cryptowizzard Mining Calculator, a more sophisticated calculator which allows you to set your electricity costs, which are critical to determining profitability. Unfortunately, this calculator doesn’t automatically retrieve the current price, hashrate and block time. So, we copy those over:
ALWAYS have your Motherboard’s Integrated GPU as your main video output or target display, that way you will remove the stress of mining the GPU’s to produce a video output (in the bios settings, it should be under the Chipset option, and will you need to set the PCI-E to IGFX (integrated graphics adapter).
that’s a stressful article. You just want rich to get richer and people with $300 deposit to stay at that point. Why not encourge people to do so even if they make $10 a day im fine with it thats $300 a month not considering loses. im just sayin. Thanks
You can click the Download button for the current driver or choose “Download Previous Drivers & Software” on the right hand side which will allow you to choose older versions that are known as great drivers for mining based on your cards such as:
Ethereum uses an account system where values in Wei are debited from accounts and credited to another, as opposed to Bitcoin’s UTXO system, which is more analogous to spending cash and receiving change in return. Both systems have their pros and cons; in terms of storage space, complexity, and security/anonymity.
Geth is going to have to link to a network before everything is fully functioning. Type in “geth —rpc” in the terminal and then hit enter. This will begin the downloading of Ethereum’s blockchain and sync with the global network. This is going to take a while, depending on how large the blockchain is and your internet connection. You have to wait until this is finished before you can start mining.
It’s also recommended that you buy some additional PCIe to Molex (or SATA) connectors so that you can connect the risers to different rails on your PSU. Again, you can find these on Amazon, and will only cost a few dollars.

GPU CORE OVERCLOCK/UNDERVOLT – we need to do two things to the GPU core. First, we will need to set P7 clock rate and its voltage. You need to remember that the GPU’s core is not used to mine ethereum a lot, it just helps the memory to do the hashrate. The GPU’s core generates the most heat on the GPU and uses the most power, so our intention is to push the GPU’s core down as much as possible to save power and lower the temperature on the GPU without losing ethereum hashrate, or lose some hashrate because we save more on the power cost reduction than the small ethereum hashrate drop. It would be very recommended to have Wattmeter to make your own calculations to see what’s more worth for you. In general most optimal clock rates for ALL GPU’s is around 1150mhz. Some RX 570 can even work at around 1100mhz without losing any, or very low hashrate reduction on ethereum and that will reduce  the power draw drastically. Some RX 580 need 1200mhz to have the optimum hashrate, but most of them work best at 1150mhz. In general never go above 1200mhz because it will start to use much more power,  and you can will that with your Wattmeter. For the Voltage part, it’s best to keep them at 850mV. You can try to reduce the voltage to 825mV or 800mV if you are going to keep the GPU’s at 1100mhz, but it is possible to get a freeze or crash. The best way for you is to test your hashrate with those values described and see what effect it has for your GPU to run it at 1100mhz, 1150mhz, 1200mhz with 850mV voltage in all cases. Then compare the power draw with the hashrate and calculate what’s more profitable for you. In most cases 1150mhz/ 850mV is optimal.
Admittedly I haven’t been trading forex – or anything else, for that matter – for a long time, but I did buy a $450,000 house to rent out, using – effectively – some leverage from the bank (I got a home equity loan of $330,000 and put in the rest, $120,000, from my own pocket; I only pay the interest on the loan, about $1,000 a month or $12,000 a year), and have been comfortable doing that for the last three and a half years. I earn a net profit, after all expenses, of around $1,500 a month, or $18,000 a year, from the house in rents (I rent it out to students exclusively, and my son manages the house, for which trouble I let him stay for free in one of its two basement apartments). I judge this venture to be no less risky than a well-controlled forex account in which I never risk more than 1% of my capital per trade. The house could go down in value, it could burn down, a student could hurt himself and sue me, all sorts of nasty things could happen.
Everything else stays pretty much the same. You can only trade the capital you have, and when you trade it, I don’t recommend losing more than 1% of it on a trade. So set your stop loss level accordingly. Without leverage though you may find that you have to risk much less than 1% of your capital.
I’m having the same problem as Majorano. I double checked everything up until this point and I am 95% sure it is all correct. Here is what command prompt is giving me (my .bat file is called Armageddon):
This is a measure of the speed at which you can complete hashes. You’ll probably want something that can do at least 150 – 200 kH/s to mine a decent number of coins, although, the faster cards will consume more electricity, so they may not always be a better option than a slower, more power efficient setup. We give some efficient card recommendations further down.
I’m using rx 480 graphics card, it have 25mh/s mining speed and it consumes low electricity also it is cheap and affordable, literally this is my best investment ever. Here is complete guide for this card, http://www.thecryptomining.info/2017/04/6-gpu-ethereum-mining-rig-guide.html
Disclosure: Mining metrics are calculated based on a network hash rate of 232,428 GH/s and using a ETH – USD exchange rate of 1 ETH = $ 727.65. These figures vary based on the total network hash rate and on the ETH to USD conversion rate. Block reward is fixed at 3 ETH and future block reward reductions are not taken into account. The average block time used in the calculation is 15 seconds. The electricity price used in generating these metrics is $ 0.12 per kWh. Network hash rate varies over time, this is just an estimation based on current values.
Open your browser and navigate to https://minergate.com. Click on the button marked ‘Download Miner & Start Mining’. If you’re using Microsoft Edge, you can click ‘Run’ to launch the installer at this stage. Windows 10 will ask you to confirm that you wish to allow MinerGate to make changes to your system. Click ‘Yes’.
A single pound on Monday could get you 1.19 euros. On Tuesday, 1.20 euros. This tiny change may not seem like a big deal. But think of it on a bigger scale. A large international company may need to pay overseas employees. Imagine what that could do to the bottom line if, like in the example above, simply exchanging one currency for another costs you more depending on when you do it? These few pennies add up quickly. In both cases, you—as a traveler or a business owner—may want to hold your money until the forex exchange rate is more favorable.
For Windows, the Genoil miner has proven to be the most effective, and I’ll show you how to set this up. However, if you’re interested in other alt-coins, then you should also consider looking at Claymore miner.
1. You published this article on January 19,2017 and you talk about RX 480, but you recommend a driver that is not for this type of video card. I know that Claymore recommends it, but I think it was long time ago, when he wrote his program.
Ethereum is a distributed platform which is built on blockchain technology. Blockchain is a sort of a database which is stored on volunteers computers who running a node on their computer. The blockchain can work if most the nodes in the network are acting fair keeping track and validating all the changes/transactions in the netowork. In order to make sure no group of nodes controls more than 50% of the netowork, the solution is to make it so expensive to control 50% the network that no organisation is able to do it. The algorithm adopted by many coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, ZCash and others is called proof of work and in consists in a searching for a solution that can be found only through brute force. When a miner finds the solution it gets a reward and it can close the current block. The operation for looking for the solution is called mining and all the miners are competing for it, each of them having a chance equal to the processing power he has. Statistically each of them will get a part of the pie proportionally to the computing power is uses.
Geth is the underlying code for the Mist wallet and is the core service for syncing the Ethereum blockchain. Unfortunately, it is a command line service, which can make it hard and annoying to use. http://www.etherwall.com/Etherwall adds a GUI front-end to it, making it easier to use.
How much money you’ll need to trade forex is one of the first issues you have to address if you want to become a forex trader. Which broker you choose, trading platform or strategy you employ are all important as well, but how much money you start with will be a colossal determinant in your ultimate success.
Geth is the program that communicates with the Ethereum Network and acts as the a relay between your computer, its hardware and the rest of the ethereum network computers so if a block is mined by another computer your Geth program will pick it up and then pass on the new information onto your GPU or CPU for mining.
You can use this tool and input all the parameters like hash rate of your mining hardware rig, hourly power consumption of it, pool commission percentage (the pool which you are going to join in the mining), difficulty of the Ethereum (ETH) network, amount of blocks rewarded, price of Ethereum (ETH) and once you click calculate it will calculate the hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly profit of the whole mining setup

It is possible that the Ethereum Platform will not be used by a large number of external businesses, individuals, and other organizations and that there will be limited public interest in the creation and development of distributed applications. Such a lack of interest could impact the development of the Ethereum Platform and potential uses of ETH. It cannot predict the success of its own development efforts or the efforts of other third parties.

So, where’s the money come in? Well, as you are probably aware, Bitcoin has become pretty valuable since its introduction in 2009 achieving a market cap of ~$70B USD as of October 2017. Somewhat quietly, Ether has recently crept up to have a market cap about 40% of the size of Bitcoin. All of this means that Ether is now worth real money. Of course, if you just wanted to invest directly in these crypto-currencies you could do that through a currency exchange by trading in your national currency for a digital alternative. For Ether though, you can also acquire it another way…
Some investment management firms also have more speculative specialist currency overlay operations, which manage clients’ currency exposures with the aim of generating profits as well as limiting risk. While the number of this type of specialist firms is quite small, many have a large value of assets under management and can therefore generate large trades.
For day trading leverage is preferred. For swing trading it isn’t required as much…since you can risk about 1% of your capital on a trade (the 100 pip risk trade discussed above, which takes a few days to complete), which means you should be making 2%+ on your winners (trying to make 200+ pips on the winners). These are just examples; you need to work out the math for how much capital you have.
If the miner successfully connects to the pool and starts mining coins, you should see some output referring to the current hash rate. You can also visit the mining pool site after a short while to see if your stats there update.
