We had to exclude certain boards because they were too slow (previous-gen GeForce GTX 9-series, for example) or came up short on memory capacity (GeForce GTX 1050 2GB and Radeon RX 460 2GB). i got 1 out of the 5 GPUs to mine… attempting to start another ethminer instance specifying next card crashes that specific instance (while the first one keeps hashing away)… so no dice with getting all 5 running on win10

If you would still like to get started, the steps below outline the general process. You can find much more detailed instructions on one of the many websites dedicated to cryptocurrency mining, but this gives you a broad overview.
If you want to use your computer while mining (use a separate, non-mining graphics card for your displays as the ones that are mining will stutter when under full load) and need to have Windows for what you do then this is a good option too. You can use advanced flags for Claymore’s Dual Miner to specify which cards to mine on and leave one for daily use.
Hey I have a question. Does Ethereum wallet ever gets fully synced? I’m running it for more that 3 days and now I got to the end and it wont sync at 100% cloud is at 69% and still some blocks left (currently 111) and it’s going up and down. I set up mining process successfully and got it to work (after solving antivirus problems that 5 times removed ethereum.exe…) I’m just curious about this wallet sync. Thanks
Geth needs to link up with the network before anything becomes fully operational. Type in ‘geth —rpc’ in the terminal and then press enter (you should be used to this by now), this action starts the download of Ethereum’s blockchain and synchronizing with the global network. This process is time intensive and is dependent on how large the blockchain is currently and the speed of your internet connection. Make sure you wait until the completion of this process before mining.
All of the above means that the resale value of the card is absent. With no display ports, gamers won’t be interested in the card. That being said, will you want to sell it if the expected hashrates are real?
If you are running Windows Defender or some other anti-virus program, add an exception to it so that it does not flag the Claymore mining executable “EthDcrMiner64.exe” as a virus or try to disable/delete it.  
Hey guys, thanks for the fantastic guide. I have a windows 10 system with two nvidia GPUs. One is gtx 960 and the is gt 710. I am using escavator for mining zcash. I m getting 127 H/s if i use only my gtx 960 GPU. When i added the second GPU, escavator does not read it, ( windows does), still getting 127H/s. How do i increase this? Any ideas pls.
