Hey I feel so great about mining Litecoin and me didn’t expect this much earnings per day but I know That Litecoin value or price will increase as Bitcoin that is why I choose to buy gold on LTC and I am still going to add my investment .

The problem is that motherboards with 2 x16 PCIe slots (either 2.0 or 3.0 should work) tend to cost quite a bit. Currently, I believe that people are buying older high end boards and using Celeron processors (which are the lowest tier for socketed processors) in order to get a board that’s within an affordable price bracket. PCIe is an older socket, so in theory you should be able to go back pretty far and find something that works.
4GB is fine. Overkill really, at least for Linux. If you have an old 2GB stick (or even 1GB!) sitting around and plan to run Linux, you’re good to go. If you want to run Windows, then 4GB is probably a realistic minimum.
I do think the newer USB-style risers are the way to go—they’re longer and easier to work with than the old ribbon-style cables. Here is a 6-pack of USB risers with the newest (and safest) PCIe connectors. It’s always smart to buy an extra or two, as defects are relatively common. If you have older ribbon-type risers laying around, or can get them cheaply, they’ll work just fine.
Ich war mir sicher, dass Cloud Mining profitabler ist wegen des hohen Ethereum Preises. Wenn ich nämlich heute 10 Ether kaufen würde, würde es mich c.a. 2300 $ kosten. Den gleichen Betrag kann ich aber auch günstiger mit Cloud-Mining bekommen. Mit ungefähr 37 MH/s Ethereum Mining Power bekomme ich nach einen Jahr über 10.4 Ether und es kostet nur rund 1090 € auf Genesis Mining und es erzeugt sogar 2 Jahre lang Ether für dich. Nach 2 Jahren wirst du also ungefähr 20 Ether generieren für nur c.a. 1090 €, anstatt 10 Ether für 2300 $ wenn man heute direkt Ether kaufen würde.

A quick question: So you’re saying that setting the MC to 600 Mhz gives you a hashrate of 30mh/s? I have a R9 390 8 GB (I’ve been testing it out for Ether mining before I invest in building a multi gpu system), and my MC/CC is set to 1500/1000 mhz and gives me around 30 mh/s. When I overclock it to 1675/1185, it gives me around 34 Mh/s… (Claymore, Win 7 64 bit OS).. temp stays between 60-70 degrees C.

Whichever card you decide on, be prepared to spend a lot of shopping time at the various retailers and resellers. Only then can you hope to find that coin at a “fair” price. Mining has really inflated GPU prices across the board, which is a good indicator that GPU mining is still profitable—if you play your cards right.
Here is our formula for working out monthly profit: M – W = P. M is the value of the amount of coins you mine per day, this can be found through sites like coingecko where it will tell you how much your crypto is worth. W is the amount you will be spending on kWh every month. This will then give you P which is your monthly profit. You can also find your daily profit by inputting your daily mined crypto into M and daily power usage in for W, the same can be done for weekly calculations. To find your real profit however, you first need to pay back the first investment into your mining rig. A PCI Express slot is a connection port on the motherboard and looks like the picture below – they are often coloured white but can be beige – you can get other types of slots but most GPU’s work on a PCI express.
These cards are quite effective when it comes to power consumption and they are long considered the workhorse of GPU mining. The cards from the RX 400 and 500 series feature a really amazing cooling and can boast a performance that ideally matches the initial price, but the time has sadly arrived when the cards from these series must be put out to pasture – at least for Ethereum mining purposes. Yet, you can use an RX 580/570/480/470 only for mining altcoins, but unless you can find them at a good price, you should shun the rip-off prices that sellers often charge for these cards.
I have a mining rig at home as well to compare the income variations. (you can check any ETH mining difficulties chart which is available online too). What i can conclude is that the Genesis Mining payout declining speed is faster than the actual mining difficulty increase rate.
Plenty of options for AMD owners if Eth goes to POS, other Ethash coins like Ubiq, Pirl or ETP. My RX 570’s also perform well with CryptoNight, Monero, Sumokoin, ETN and then theirs multiple Neoscrypt coins too.

Depending what you do, more VRAM will improve your performance. The present difference between a 4-gig and 8-gig version of the same card can be up to 5 MH/s. MH/s stands for millions of hashes per second, the speed of the hardware solving mathematical algorithms to get Ethereum.
Now, let’s do the math for Hashflare ethereum cloud mining contract, with initial $220 investment we could buy exactly 10MH/s mining contract for one year. That’s already 2MH/s less if we would opt to buy GPU card.
That is a shame about the barrel jack adapter. Because there are a lot of different sizes and shapes for barrel jack DC plugs. In general, all the picoPSUs that I’ve seen use the same connection standard which is 5.5mm outer diameter and a 2.5mm inner diameter IIRC. They do differ in their efficiencies, but in general, there are so many no-brand suppliers out there, it’s better to just pick a reputable importer and buy from them. My go-tos are QuietPC and MiniBox. But there are many other importers out there.
So suppose anyone does have some mainstream or high level card at least the level of HD5850, as an example, they’d still faced with power bill issue, which in some case outweigh the profit. The difficulty is the measure of how difficult it is to find a new block compared to the easiest it can ever be. The rate is recalculated every 2,016 blocks to a value such that the previous 2,016 blocks would have been generated in exactly one fortnight (two weeks) had everyone been mining at this difficulty. And what energy efficient motherboard + cpu would you recommend for that case? I want to buy 2 RX 460s and maybe bump the watts to 300 I don’t mind as long as I can hash 22 MH/s on the same small machine.
