“ethereum mining memory”

I’m with GM for a year. I sincerely recommend GM due to the low cost of the account. At any time you can change addresses, which is very valuable. For one year there have been no problems with payouts. So I decided to invest more in various cryptowals. For me is the best mine in the cryptowalut market. Sincerely Malgorzata from Poland
Ethereum’s Ethash algorithm is just one of several algorithms intended for optimal mining on GPUs and is used to secure the network and empowers end users to have full control of their money. This algorithm was designed to prevent the development of dedicated ASICs to mine it. SHA-256 and Scrypt are extremely compute-hungry, consequently rendering ASICs more efficient than our graphics cards (even more so than CPUs). On the other hand, Ethash is rather dependent on memory performance (timing, frequency, and bandwidth). Generally speaking, a GPU is good for mining all GPU-mineable cryptocurrency (including Ethereum Classic (ETC), Zcash (ZEC), Monero (XMR), and Vertcoin (VTC)), which gives GPU miners enviable flexibility, in order to be able to switch between over 40 coins that are based on their current profitability.
I love testing ideas and even more than just testing new ideas I love testing them using Minimum viable product approach.   I’ve been in a crypto craze for a while already – started with buy and hold, added…
although power price is very cheaper in my country but I hope ETH price goes higher , but ETH going to POS in couple of months am I right ? even if eth POS ed we can mine ETC and other profitable currencies so I will not sell my rigs
It’s been a while since we updated this series this past summer, but our answer for the “Is it worth it?” question has remained mostly the same. Ethereum saw increasing difficulty throughout the fall and little increase in price, which made mining steadily less and less attractive. But recently, Ethereum has boomed to be priced at around $700-$800, which has led to a resurgence in mining interest.
Currently, I’m  making a profit of $5.22 daily, $36.51 weekly, $156.47 monthly and $1,903.78 yearly. Let’s stick with the yearly data, power cost per year would be $262.80. Also, I would mine about 1.66 ETH after one year or operations.
If you do not own a lot of hardware, we believe cloud mining is the best option to generate Ethereum as a digital currency. Cloud mining also allows users to form pools where their joint efforts are rewarded with greater income, compared to mining with individual hardware.
You would need a different motherboard that’s capable of supporting two different RX 460s. The software itself can run on two separate GPUs, so that’s definitely not an issue. The issue is that dual GPU motherboards can cost quite a bit of money compared to single slot boards.
Ethereum Mining is a computationally in-depth work that requires a lot of time and processing power. A miner gets rewarded for providing solutions to challenging math problems via blockchain technology, just like bitcoin mining. Ethereum is the first ‘world computer’. It is a decentralized network that can be used by anyone and is capable of running applications with no possibility of downtime, censorship or fraud.
If you’re not already handy with computers, Linux/Windows scripting and command line, hardware troubleshooting, know how ethereum works, and can wait 2+ months to get the possibility of breaking even on your hardware purchase, you’ll get more for your money and time by focusing on learning how cryptocurrencies and trading work and perhaps invest some money (but only as much as you are willing to lose) and start trading it.
Mining Ether takes up a lot of electricity, and you are right in being concerned about this. On the plus side, though, if mining practices are carried out efficiently more income is generated through the sale of Ether. You will need your Ethereum Mining calculators for the process.
This is quite a useful list that has the information on the hash rates of many AMD and Intel CPU’s, and this list is constantly being updated. Though the list is only for the Cryptonight algorithm (or Monero) hash rates, I don’t recommend mining other algorithms on your CPU, as Monero works very well on the CPU, compared to other algorithms which heavily favor the GPU.
The mining process for Ethereum is the same as that of Bitcoin. For every transaction block, the miners make use of computers to quickly and repeatedly solve computational equations till any one of them makes it through. To be more precise, the miners ought to run the exclusive header metadata of the block (which include the timestamp as well as the software version) via a hash function that returns a jumbled, fixed-length string of letters and numbers which looks haphazard, and simply alters the ‘nonce value’, that controls the resultant hashing value. In case the miner comes across a hash that equals the existing target, then the miner will be granted with Ether cash and will get a chance to authenticate as well as add a new block on the Ethereum platform. There’s no way the miners can revise the mining process as it is fixed. Since the miners leave an extensive proof of their puzzle-solving process on the network, the Ethereum mining process is also known as ‘proof-of-work’. A miner locates a block every 12–15 seconds. If a miner starts solving the equations faster or slower than the set time, the Ethereum algorithm by default readjusts the difficulty level of the equations so that the miners roughly go back to the 12-second timeline for each solution.
If i were to build another rig, I would have to be convinced that I would make my investment back in 2.5 months or less, and while I’m considering it, I’m not exactly convinced that it would net me more ethereum in the long run than just investing the same amount of money into ethereum today.

I don’t disagree with the premise of the difficultly increasing, but these calculators also have to assume a fixed price to arrive at any sort of calculated profit number. If the market price of ETH increases significantly (I’m not here to make the point that it will or won’t), then the profitability looks better. Granted, that would have to keep pace with difficultly increases.
The diff change value is calculated by looking at the current difficulty and comparing it to the 12 hour moving average of the difficulty one month ago. For smaller coins the diff change can sometimes be inaccurate due to a wildly fluctuating difficulty.
A Radeon R9 HD 7990 will cost you $680. Its power cost per day is lower than the R9 295X2 at $1.08 but its hash rate is significantly lower at 36 MH/s. Its return per day is $1.29 while its cost per MH/s is $18.89, giving it a return per year of $469.40.
Below are the best Nvidia’s mining cards currently available on the market. It’s important to note that we excluded Older Nvidia cards with 4 GBs (or less) of VRAM because their performance was usually bad, and it will only worsen more as epochs advance.
Disclosure: Mining equipment metrics are calculated based on a network hash rate of 231,841 GH/s and using a ETH – USD exchange rate of 1 ETH = $ 685.09. These figures vary based on the total network hash rate and on the ETH to USD conversion rate. Equipment cost can vary, block reward is fixed at 3 ETH and future block reward reductions are not taken into account. The electricity price used in generating these metrics is $ 0.12 per kWh. Network hash rate varies over time, this is just an estimation based on current values.

And what energy efficient motherboard + cpu would you recommend for that case? I want to buy 2 RX 460s and maybe bump the watts to 300 I don’t mind as long as I can hash 22 MH/s on the same small machine.
You’ll also need a power button, unless your motherboard has one built in (which is fairly rare). This will do the trick, or you can build one into your plastic crate if you plan to go that route (see below).
The PandaMiner B5 Plus is a brilliantly put together miner that’s compact and attractive, while also being excellent at making profits when mining for cryptocurrencies. However, it is very expensive, and due to its popularity it can often be sold out. Luckily Pandaminer has a number of different models to choose from.
